H!S

Another one of those projects that I'm kicking myself over not keeping on top of. I learned the other day that Jess had taken over management of HS while Chiyo busies herself with Kirameki. So I contacted her and got the latest news!

"We participated in Renna / HelloProjectAllstar 's dub medley. . .and I'm kinda proud with how that came out, I can't wait for it to be released. . .Oh! You might be interested to know I've set up a discography page on the forums that has downloads to most of what we've done."

I am SO interested!! Y'all can find that page here. Other than that, H!S has been releasing shuffle dubs to "to keep things rolling" while they continue to work on future singles. Hello Stage has releases 22 dubs so far- August and the first two weeks of September seem to have been quiet productive for them!

Half of the dubs have been by Shuffles, which I think is cool. It must be fun to mix things up and experiment with different casts. Also it lets the girls sing all kinds of songs, and hear themselves with (eventually) all of the other members. And last but not least before I go on, H!S has mentioned that they will soon be holding auditions!!

Ishikawa Rika: Reika [ candyraver009 ]
Miyoshi Erika: LilRae [ talentlessloser ]
Okada Yui: Jess [ lilmenchi ]

Hitorijime by H!S Shuffles / The moment I heard the song I was like 'oh I know this song' lol. It doesn't exactly float my boat, but I do like that Erika got scripted more lines for once. And speaking of her part, the singing starts up at 0:35 with Rae. Wow, her and Jess have very similar voices! In the first verse I really like all of LilRae's solos, but especially her "kokoro" at 0:52 & I love Reika's "tatta hitotsu" at 0:40.

Jess doesn't have much for lines in the beginning, but you hear her more on the pre-chorus! Her "kyou mo anata kanojo ni" solo at 0:55 is terrific! You can really hear her energy, and her vibrato slips in a few times. Reika is also marvelous on the pre-chorus, like at 0:57 and 1:09ish. And then it's chorus time at 1:17! My favorite part of the dub, hands down. I really like the girls altogether and they sound wonderful on the melody.

Goodness, I forgot for a moment that this was a concert version, meaning shorter song. I guess I was too distracted with listening. Jess' "anata no shisen" at 1:22 is really lovely & I adore LilRae's "hitorijime" at 1:31ish- it's so pretty! Then after some instrumental, it skips to the last two rounds of the chorus. I like all of it!! Especially- Ra (2:12 ), Re (2:22), and Je (2:31ish )!

I'll admit that at first the song turned me off a little, but this is really good! I love Jess' emotion, Rae's super lovely lower notes, and Reika is so cute+pretty. All of the girls did a great job and I think this release turned out really well. I've listened to a few of the others, and I've got to say this is one of my faves.

Misc [H] Project Releases

Reika [ candyraver009 ]
Jess [ lilmenchi ]
Awai [ madleybloomingstar ]
Ash [ diabolicbread ]

*Hello Stage ~ Take It Easy by Kuusai / Ohmy H!S, it's been a while. This is a darling song and these girls did a fabulous job on it! I'd love to have some CClyrics, since it's a trio scripted to four people, but since I am without, I shall simply enjoy listening! The chorus is awesome!! I love everyone together, they sound so good!! The "shinging"s are terrific, as well as the many verse and prechorus solos.

Not sure if I'm matching names and voices up correctly, but- Reika and Awai are very cute & Ash and Jess sound lovely. All of the higher notes are well managed, and though the timing is a tiny bit iffy sometimes the mixing seems fine to me. The chorus is my favorite, but the dub overall is splendid!

Cast: Reika, Sara
Scarlett, Yumi, Shinju

*Hoshizora Dubs ~ Shabondama by Nikkou / Maya sent the MP3 of this to me not too long ago and I downloaded it then. I've listened to it a few times since, but I'll admit that I'm not crazy about this song (it's been a popular song choice lately though, eh?)- Nonetheless, this is a sensational dub! Oodles of energy and kickbutt singing! The lovely ladies that make up the cast sound magnificent! I love all of the "Shabondama"s! I may not being saying much about this dub (mainly because I wrote about this song somewhat recently) but it's definitely worth a listen!!

Sootie (SootjeNL)
Rii (AzNxRawRx)
Alie (AlieOngaku)

*Hanabi Project ~ Kacchoii ze! JAPAN by Hana-Bi-N / CClyrics / "If it wasn't for Alie graduating then I would have made these three a permanent group, they sound so good together!" I happen to agree with Hanabi's leader! The "KACCHOII ZE"s throughout the dub are swell but I like other parts more. Such as both of the "VERY VERY" solos; 'wonderful love' at 0:47 and 'beautiful kiss' at 2:13. All of the solos inbetween the group parts are marvelous! It's hard to pick out a few that I like from among them.

I think I'll go by girl, starting with Sootie! I think my favorite from her is at 1:20. I love her mature lovely voice, and she sounds great on the melody of the line, I especially like her ending "aru" ~ she hits the higher 'ru' wonderfully! I also really like her "sukoshi no magokoro areba ii" solo at 2:48 and her "subarashii machi" at 3:37!

Rii is such a cutie!! Though she's a little quiet in volume, her lines are all really sweet! I like her 1:44 solo, especially her "areba ii" ~ Then there's her "WELCOME TO MY TOWN" at 2:17, gosh she's so kawaii! I love how she sounds on "town" with that little bit of adorable attitude. And I also really like her "daisuki na machi" solo at 2:44!

Alie rocks! She's a strong singer that delivers well and sounds great, which you can really hear in her "WELCOME WELCOME" at 0:49! I also like her "sore ha yaranakya hajimaranai" at 2:24, her 'nai' is a soft but pretty. And I like her last solo of the song, her "sukoshi no magokoro areba ii" at 3:45. The girl are great individually and as a group, and overall I think this turned out really well!

Shimizu Saki : Kuri [KuriDesu27]
Tsugunaga Momoko : Arisu [RaReiRoo]
Tokunaga Chinami : Lily [SytheMeisterLily]
Sudou Massa : Kim [Miriko96]
Natsuyaki Miyabi : Natsumi [KonataIzumi124]
Kumai Yurina : Ayuna [AyunaDaisuki]
Sugaya Risako : Chinatsu [fandubzRmylife]

*HonkiProject ~ Otakebi Boy WAO by Kagayake Koubou / Lovely. Pretty. Ear-pleasing. This dub is many things! But this song is one that packs a punch & calls for a lot of WAO and I'm not hearing it. The girls don't sound bored, but they could definitely step up the energy. Don't get me wrong, they all seriously sound amazing!! Clear, cute, charming! Most certainly enjoyable. But this dub is lacking fervor. I love the cast dearly and look forward to hearing them again.

Saki: Ayuna [AyunaDaisuki]
Momoko: Kaede-chan [lolypop227]
Chinami: Kurichii [KuriDesu27]
Maasa: Kate-chan [PirateCool192]
Miyabi: Eun Mi [eunmijjang]
Yurina: Kanny [kannychan21]
Risako: Kate-chan [PirateCool192]

*HanaEmiProject ~ Yuke Yuke Monkey Dance by Bouken Berryz / I'm not a big fan of this song, but I actually enjoyed this dub a lot! I love the "TIKI TIKI TIKI"s and the Bouken girls sound really good on all the melodies and parts. Kate is fantastic on lead vocals & she and Kuri are marvelous on the solos following the "EBIBADE" lines.

I really like Eun Mi on Miyabi's part, and Kaede isn't always clearly understandable. You don't get much of a chance to hear Ayuna or Kanny, but their short solos are swell and they -and everyone else- contributed to the spectacular group parts! *downloads* I like this! Yeah maybe there could have been a little bit more energy, but I still think this turned out nicely!

Misc Project Recent Releases~

Akiyama Yurika: Catanaition
Hashimoto Aina: Corsica
Morozuka Kanami: Catanaition/Writerserenyty
Okada Robin Shouko: Writerserenyty
Oose Kaede: Boo
Goto Yuki: Boo/Corsica

Shiawase no Katachi by J-unior SWEET (Totally Up! Project) / "The 1st track in J-unior SWEET's 5th single, Form and Happiness. This track features J-unior SWEET gen 9 members. . . .Corsica is a special guest on this single as she is a gen 6 member of J-unior SWEET."

This song is alright, but it doesn't exactly float my boat. And I don't know any of THE Possible girls by name, so I'm lost as to who is singing when. The verses are nice, though they seem like they are semi-tricky; like they'd be easy to sing off-time on - you kind of hear that as well, where some people got close. But they turned out pretty well in this dub! I think I like the chorus the most; it's catchy, has cute/sweet vibes and I like how everyone sounds on it. Overall, the energy level is good; the girls did a marvelous job. Delightful~

Saki Shimizu - Awai [madleybloomingstar]
Momoko Tsugunaga - Okie [DivaDragger]
Chinami Tokunaga - Kazzy [Vendready]
Maasa Sudou - Aiko [ReinaLoverai]
Miyabi Natsuyaki - Choco [chocolateblakberri]
Yurina Kumai - Ami [amiswami2]
Risako Sugaya - Ayu [ChiiAyu]

Tomodachi wa Tomodachi Nanda by Cookie Koubou (cremeproject) / I got distracted by the PV for a little bit, lol. I forgot what a sweet vid this song has. Then my computer went dumb on me and I had to restart. And I'm hungry. But anyways!! Uwah, such a wonderful cast! I know everyone except Kazzy, I think. Ayuchan makes such a great Rii!! It's a bit funny to hear Choco as Miyabi when I'm used to her as Momo, but either way, she is a fantastic and adorable singer. Both her and Ayu pwned their lines in this.

Okie!! Cuteness defined! All of her solos sound very sweet & good. Ohemgee, I love Aiko as Maasa! And following her is Awai as Saki, more omgIloveit! Both of them delivered fabulously! Kazzy is cute, too bad her and the other two only get one line in this song. 3:08 is really good, all of the verses are great and I adore the chorus!! Everyone sounds good together. I haven't listened to a dub of this song in a while, actually. And this is one marvelous dub!

Hiduke [ fantasykingdom2177 ]
Ichijiku [ crazyselphie ]
Sakuranbo [ harpiegirlsuzuka ]
Kyuuri [ reinaloverai ]

Suki Sugite Baka Mitai by (ShizenProjectDubs) / Generation 2's debut! their premier single is titled, Everyday In Perfect Form, and this is it's B-side. The A-side has yet to be released, but is in the works. ~ This is one of my favorite songs, and I think it requires a lot of energy. These girls did a good job, but I didn't get the umph! from this that I was hoping for. Yes, not every line is supposed to burst with energy, but this song does call for a certain amount of, if not energy, emotion. I am looking foward to their A-side, EVERDAY Zekkouchou - it's a good song.

Rii (AzNxRawRx)
Chisako (JapanGirlHellopro)
Mashiro (iwearatshirttoday)
Rixie (RixieMixiePixieDixie)

Sakura Kiss by SakuraRanbo (SakuranboDubs) / As noted by a few members of the dub, the mixing could be better. Even though everyone wasn't together, they all still sound good. The ones whose recorded lines kind of fell together had great blending. I really like the chorus, even with the jumbledness. The beginning and ending parts, "Kiss kiss, fall in love" & etc - I like those. I'd like to hear this with better mixing, I think it would be fabulous~

Ai [lovelybeige]
Hanna [HannaPulla]
Ceci [CeciiIceChii]

In the drop-down section it's listed as 'solos in appearance' which leads me to believe it's in order of solos - that the three girls will cycle through repeatedly until the song ends. But I kept getting confused and my ears were like; AH! So I finally found my way to their forums and luckily they had CClyrics up. But, things do not go in order of solos. I find it very frustrating when I'm looking at it in a 'order of solos' mind frame, when it isn't actually like that. Not just for when I'm writing, but also simply as a listener.

Edo no Temrai uta II by SweetxHeart♥ (ShiningStarCovers) / I really like this song, it's quite short, but super catchy. And I have fun lol-ing at Airi & Kanna's hats. I think Nakki looks adorable. Anyways! Ai starts the dub off awesomely, she has a mature and lovely voice. Following her is Hanna (and again at 0:42), she certainly has a lot of energy, which is a good thing. Her solos were sometimes a bit funny because of her amount of umph! but not in a bad way; she made me smile. All of the girls have good energy!

I love the chorus to pieces! Even if a dub isn't perfect, if it's got you laughing / smiling / feeling good / whatev, then the dubbers sure did something good and are worth a listen. This trio gives off such fabulous vibes as they sing this! I also like how they sound together. I love Ceci's solo after the first chorus, her "hey hey" at 1:10 is adorable!! And the rest of her solo here is wonderful. Following her is Hanna at 1:17, and the last solo of the song is by Ai at 1:23. Then we have more marvelous chorus before this short but sweet dub ends. Other than my initial confusion, I greatly enjoyed this.

Sugaya Risako - Jess [ lilmenchi ]
Natsuyaki Miyabi - Reika [ candyraver009 ]
Tsugunaga Momoko - Beth [ bibblebobble629 ]
Kumai Yurina - Kayla [ goraxscene ]
Tokunaga Chinami - Chiyo [ xchiyochii ]
Sudou Maasa - Ayuchi [ ayulantina ]
Shimizu Saki - Rae [ talentlessloser ]

Otakebi Boy WAO! by Hello!Stage Shuffles (HelloStage) / This song again, lol. I don't actually really tire of it, but sometimes it's just like; really?! Some of Jess' lines were iffy, but she's got energy. I super adore Beth's parts and Reika sounds awesome. And as we all know, the other four girls don't get many lines - the ones they do have sound swell though. I like the "WAO"s and the mixing sounds good to my unknowledgable ears. Overall, a nice release from H!S.

Misc Project Recent Releases~

LOL. 1st, Nanchatte and First Kiss. Then Rival and aMa no Jaku. Followed by Mikan and Yume to Genjitsu. These were all poll battles, the songs chosen because they had been dubbed so much at the time. No poll about it, but at one point I saw quite a few Be Your Girl and Koisuru Angel Heart dubs. And sometime a month or so back, Momusu's SEXY BOY was quite a popular song choice. Not to mention, I did WAO as a song search.

I've got this list of dubs in MS paint right now from different projects, in order of when they were released. It's a reference for when I blog (I make these kinds of things a lot, lol). And from what's on it, plus what I've seen lately, one of the most recent popular song picks is Going On! by Guardians4. First Irokokoro, then I listened to it by another project. And there is one on my subs list now and one on the list in front of me. And funny enough, also on the list is a few dubs of the previously mentioned songs.

Where I'm going with all this rambling is! - as I've said before, you can only review a song so many times before you tire of it some and have to wait a bit before doing so again. I adore these projects, but I'm not up to fully covering any of these right now. I'd still like to share them with you, as sort of an update on what they've put out recently, and also to shamelessly plug projects here on my blog, lol~

Singers: (In Order of Hearance) Ami, Manda, Reika, Meche, Angeru

SEXY BOY ~Soyokaze ni Yorisotte~ by Natsu Musume (KisetsuProject) / Order of hearance + no CClyrics = a confused Aya. lol, I can't fully review dubs like this because I mix people up, or constantly get lost. But regardless, this is really cute! I like the "SEXY ue ue"s a lot. The volume of everyone singing together seems quite loud, at least to me. There are a lot of fabulous solos in this, as well as groups of three or four. I really like this song, and Kisetsu did a pretty swell job on it.

Nakajima Saki - Ika [ ikalove22 ]
Mitsui Aika - Mary [ marianahime ]
Sugaya Risako - Miya [ tokyostarx ]
Kumai Yurina - Rae [ talentlessloser ]

Going On by Nichibotsu (HelloStage) / These girls sound nice, but I was left wanting. The energy level wasn't super low, but lines definitely could have used some more umph! Dubs where you can tell just by listening that the singers had fun, make it more fun for me. Not that I'm saying they didn't have fun, but a common indicator is energy! And I just didn't get 'let's get this party Going On!" vibes from this. It's still a good release, but I like other dubs from H!S more.

Castlist: Amaranth / Amber / Aubergine
Emerald / Rosaceous / Ruby / Sapphire

Mikan by Fuantei (IroKokoro Project) / LOL. Did I ever tell y'all that the "fukukiteru" part in the chorus always sounds semi-similar to 'cookie-cutter' to me? I know they aren't really sound-alike words, but when it's said as quickly as it is in the song and I hear it, I giggle every time cause I instantly think 'cookie-cutter' - imadork.

Anyways! Congrats to IKP on reaching 200 subscribers!! They certainly deserve every one of them, because lately they've really been 'hitting the nail on the head' with their epic rainbow colored hammer; aka ~ their voices / dubbing skillz. I would have loved some CClyrics, but I won't complain, since I'm trying to keep this semi-short.

PWN. FOW. OH YEAH + WOW WOW. I love this to pieces. The chorus is freaking fantastic, the blending is so THERE. It makes me ear exceedingly happy. Everyone rocked their solos, the energy and emotion is marvelous - even if this was a pain to mix, oh Taka, it's worth it. My fave favorite part of this whole dub has to be the blending. It's just so good.

Misc Project Recent Releases

Maeda Yuuka - Ika [ ikalove22 ]
Wada Ayaka - Miya [ tokyostarx ]
Ogawa Saki- Mary [ marianahime ]
Fukuda Kanon - Rae [ talentlessloser ]

Asu wa Date na no ni . . . by Nichibotsu (Hello!Stage) / Another marvelous release from H!S, with a great cast and super mixing. I liked the chorus and verses both, and also the 'NANANA's. Plus there are oodles of really good lines. Jess commented that everyone had good timing and I agree with Chiyo that when the girls sing together it's 'pure epicness'~

Yuuka Maeda :: ORGANIZING KANBU // DivaDagger
Saki Ogawa :: TRIGGER-HAPPY KANBU // RixieMixiePixieDixie
Kanon Fukuda :: LAZY ASS KANBU // Disturbedstrawberry
Ayaka Wada :: CHO KAWAII KANBUCHII // MitsukiUsagii

Suki-chan / This is Pinky Team's leader group, YAKUZA, "WHICH MEANS LIKE....MAFIA EXECUTIVE." LOL. I've covered this song already, so I won't carry on too much. All funniness aside, this is a really good release from this project. The energy level is great and all the gals sound cute. Easily enjoyable~

Tsugunaga Momoko: Chii-Charm/Eva/Hitomi
Natsuyaki Miyabi: Eva/Tomokyo/Chii-Charm/Sakura Ichigo
Kumai Yurina: Sakura Ichigo/Tomokyo
Sugaya Risako: Hitomi/Tomokyo/Eva

Rival by Sparkle Society (Totally Up! Project) / It was after I saw that this had been released that I decided to put up the current poll, since it's one of the two songs I've seen quite a few dubs of. The group parts are marvelous! This song is so bubbly/rocking, I can see why people choose it. Since 2-3 girls take on each of the H!P girls, I don't exactly know who is singing when.

I love how clearly everyone sang, and also how all the mic qualities are good. The lines/solos are clean, for lack of a better word, lol. You can really hear the singing, and it sounds professional because of the well recorded/mixed/dubbed-ness. Fabulous job to all the dubbers and to mixer Chii-Charm. There were oodles of awesome notes and more. I adored every line~

Misc Project Recent Releases

Kinsenka [ shockingbuggy ]
Akizakura [ babychi ]
Sayuri [ xmikipinkux ]
Tsubaki [ pixienyan ]
Himawari [ karyhoshi ]
Mizuki [ telenagikinetic ]
Shobu [ yumestarlet02 ]
Aoi [ chocolateblakberri ]
Kiri [ SingingonDemand ]
Nadeshiko [ giselledesu ]
Ibara [ chiiayu ]
Momo [ fantasykingdom1227 ]

Seifuku ga Jama wo Suru (2010 Ver) by SKR48 (HanaPro) / This is FABULAROSA. Lol, I saw that word in Luinestel23's comment and couldn't resist. And it's so true!! This is seriously epic! I adore so so so many things about this dub. The blending is amazing, and I love all of the solos and duets. The girls brought the sexiness and did a great job on this "deceptively difficult" song.

As the first first track from their eighth single, RESET, "This kind of marks a type of reset for SKR: we have added 4 new members to our roster (Kiri and Nade the Tane graduates, and Ibara and Momo the new Gen 5 members) and have lost two members (Kisuisen and Kiku)."

Congrats to Gen 5 members on their debut! This really is a splendid dub, and great mixing by Kinsenka. As she said, "What a great way for this new generation of SKR to start out!" The set list for the remainder of the single is as follows;

1. Seifuku ga Jama wo Suru (2010 ver.)-- AKB48
2. Nageki no Figure (2010 ver.) -- AKB48 Team A unit
3. Blue Rose (2010 S Ver.) -- AKB48 Team K unit
4. Blue Rose (2010 K Ver.) -- AKB48 Team K unit
5. Relax (2010 S Ver.) -- no3b
6. Relax (2010 K Ver.) -- no3b

Maeda Yuuka - Reika [ candyraver009 ]
Ogawa Saki- Jess [ lilmenchi ]
Wada Ayaka - Awai [ madleybloomingstar ]
Fukuda Kanon - Ash [ diabolicbread ]

aMa no Jaku by Kuusai (Hello!Stage) The B-Side to their first single / The very latest from H!S. Freaking A, Reika is adorable. Such a sweet candy voice, lol. Jess! Pretty little vibrato, love her mature sound. She has good energy, and nice held notes too.

I really like Awai's voice, her solos were really cute! I've never liked Kanon's lines in this song just cause they aren't very long, and they're broken up. Like; a word, mini-pause, a word, mini-pause, two words. But I've heard Ash before, and I know she's good. What I heard in this sounded great!

The chorus of this song sort of bores me, always has. So for the most part I liked listening to the girls on the verses. But as for when they're all singing; I really liked the "Zenbu zenbu kyouminai" (and the following line) parts. I can't claim to know much about mixing, but it sounded fine to me. The echoes seemed to turn out well. So I think this is a really good release!

A preview of Kyohaku's (HoshiDubs) coming release; Otakebi Boy WAO! I feel a little bad that I missed their Mikan dub. I listened to it, but never linked it on here anywhere. Have a peek at their channel to listen to their wonderful dubs! This sounds pretty good so far~

Saturday, April 10, 2010

New project!! Hello Club just released the A-side to their debut single, Loving Coffee, this past Friday. H!C's plan is to "cover Hello!Project songs according to H!P's timeline. Basically, we will start covering only Morning Musume and then create Tanpopo, Melon Kinenbi, etc."

So even though they are beginning with one generation made up of only five girls, their numbers will eventually grow as more Gens and groups are added/formed. H!C's first group is called Melody Musume. As I mentioned in the RCR entry, I think doing it this way is a great idea! Fun and challenging, and who knows; maybe some members will discover new songs along the way.

Abe Natsumi - Raiko [mirailai]
Iida Kaori - Michiru [hitsugayahinamori]
Nakazawa Yuko - Kokoro [coconstorm]
Fukuda Asuka - Midori [midoriiw]
Ishiguro Aya - Aiko [aikoaki]

A few off parts, but overall this was a very good debut for Melody Musume! I know singing the harmonies may not be tons of fun, but I think they really make the song, and they sounded great! The blending on group parts was lovely.

I am looking forward to Ai no Tane so badly. Even though Momusu has gone through so many Gens and releases, I've always liked their debut single a lot. Ai no Tane & Morning Coffee are simple songs, but pretty. So I shall definitely be keeping an eye out! For those interested, H!C actually has a full list of their coming singles on their forum.

Annnnnd~ Hello! Stage recently released their third Shuffle dub!

Sugaya Risako - Reika [ candyraver009 ]
Michishige Sayumi - Chiyo [ xchiyochii ]
JunJun - Jess [ lilmenchi ]

Audio Mixing: Jess
PV Mixing : Chiyo

ONLY YOU / Reika nailed and rocked her lines! Chiyo sounds different, lower than usual; but not bad. Close to being pitchy. Gah, she hurt herself on vacation; feel better Chiyo!! Jess sounds cute, but should sing with a little more umph! The small group parts were wonderful, like at 0:52.

Beginning solo by Reika was awesome! Chiyo sounded good at 2:14, probably the line I liked the most. And 1:58 was Jess, I really liked her little "Come on" at the end of her solo; it was peppy. Their "silence"s sounded great! And I adored the "Only Only Only"s at the end of the song! Chiyo's little "Last time" was cute~

Faefae (nytefaerie) was the one who told me about this, and I think it sounds like a lot of fun! Perhaps a lot of work too, and challenging, but fun all the same. It's tagged as game on Yoproject's forum, and it could probably be called that. Or sort of a personal goal. However you wish to look at it.

Soli on YP explains the need-to-know info about how it all works in the thread created for it. Basically- "Produce 12 singles to be released in 12 weeks during Summer 2010, starting the week of June 6th and ending the week of August 22nd." First things first, you pick a Theme and go from there, choosing 12 songs and working details out.

As far as I know, the singles will be released on yoproject.net, though perhaps some people might also put them up on their YT channels (I can hope, eh?). I am really looking forward to hearing and downloading oodles of wonderful dubs!! Gah, can't wait until summer now. (Can you believe that it started snowing again today? WTH)

Homg!! I forgot to subscribe to Hello!Stage back when I covered them, so I didn't know that they'd released two more dubs!! Bad Aya. Well I fixed that by clicking the lovely little yellow button so I will be informed next time. And since it's like 2:30am and I need to go to bed, I'll just share them with you real quick~

Seishun LOVE! Lunch / Nichibotsu

Nakajima Saki - Ika [ ikalove22 ]
Mitsui Aika- Mary [ marianahime ]
Okai Chisato - Miya [ tokyostarx ]
Niigaki Risa - Rae [ talentlessloser ]

Uwah, this is so cute and fun~ I think the only girl I know is Miya, though Rae's username is slightly familiar. Then again, I have a suckish memory at times, lol. I shall have to check them all out sometime!

Kioku no Meiro / H!S Shuffles

Takahashi Ai - Jess [ lilmenchi ]
Tanaka Reina - Chiyo [ xchiyochii ]

It's been a bit since I listened to Chiyo, she sounds good in this! And I love Jess' mature voice, ohmy. She suits Ai. I love concert version dubs. The added crowd makes it so much more fun to listen to, idk why. This is a marvelous duet~

Hello! Stage - Part 2

I split the entry up into seperate parts, because the interviews always take up a lot of room, making the entry super long. So I wanted to spilt it up some, so it wasn't a complete walloftext-ness, LOL.

I was going to go with H!Stage's latest release, Koi no Jubaku. But the moment I heard Nagareboshi's Suki-Chan, I just had to cover it. I have listened to Kuusai's dub though, and it's worth a listen. Cast;

Fukuda Kanon - Beth [ bibblebobble629 ]
Maeda Yuuka - Chiyo [ xchiyochii ]
Ogawa Saki - Farara [ farabang ]
Wada Ayaka - Yuri [ fuonyuri ]

UWAH, this dub is so full of cuteness and win! When I think S/mileage, I think cute. And when I hear these girls singing, they are definitely cute! This dub has great energy levels, which is almost a must when singing this song. It's so upbeat and makes you wanna jump/dance.

[*] Beth's "RU RU RU"s in her 0:20 line are epic. They were spot on and totally adorable. Following her is Yuri, whose voice I really liked right off the bat. All of the girls really suit their parts in this song. Often times I am super reminded of the H!P girls they are covering.

I don't know how to describe Chiyo's singing. It's very cute, with a unique sound to it. Something about her voice niggles at my mind. She did a good job on Yuuka's lines! And I liked Farara at 0:28 quite a bit. I like how well she delivers her lines, going up or down on the notes whenever she needs to and sounding great!

[*] Oh, Farara at 0:39 really fits Saki!! 0:42 wasn't a very long solo, but Yuri sounded real cute on it. And as for the chorus, I love love the group parts! The girls sound fabulous together! 0:55, Beth rocked her solo! homg, pure awesome. 1:10 was a really good line for Chiyo, she sounded great on her ending "chaou"

Woah, starting with the next set of solos at 1:34, I picked right up on the backing vocals that were sung during the first and third lines, and I loved it!! It sounds like the other three girls doing the back up vocals. Right? I went back and listened to the previous solos, and it wasn't done then.

[*] Out of the four, I think Yuri has the most mature voice. She sings very cleary, and her voice is so lovely. I really liked all of her lines. And I think Beth has the most energy, or at least when I'm listening really hard for it, she stands out the most to me. She's fun to listen to. Farara's energy is pretty good. At times, Chiyo and Yuri could have used a little bit more umph!!

[*] LOL, okay so I've got to tell y'all something about the "suki-chan"s that start at 2:20. I have a Pomeranian-chihuahua, and she is my baby. You're probably thinking; annoying little yapper. And yeah, she does bark at strangers. But she shuts up after a little bit and she doesn't bite. Plus she is freaking adorable and cuddly.

Her name is Suki. I baby talk her all the time. And after I heard this song, I would do the little hands-spread-by-my-face and chant "suki chan suki chan, suki suki suki chan" to her endearlying. LOL. I'm so lame. But yuh. The moment I chose this song, I knew I'd have to share this little weird bit about me with you.

[*] In the case of these girls' "suki chan"s they are awesome! I also really liked the "WOW WOW WOW FOREVER" parts! And all the little things starting at 2:42, like the echos of "DAISUKI" and the "yeah" and "woo" sounds. But they were good throughout the song really.

2:48 was fantastic on Beth's part, I liked her "Kyou mo kyou mo" and she sounds very kawaii. Plus good energy! Farara at 2:57, I really liked the way she sounded on "Mada ka na" for some reason. It was good. Yuri was also really good on her 3:00 line. And Chiyo finishes off the song on a good note.

[*] Oh, and all of the group part were just as wonderful in the second half of the song, as in the first. Chiyo mentioned that she thought the group parts were too loud, but I don't think they're that bad. I wasn't turning down my volume or anything, and the girls sounded good.

*smiles and makes a peace sign along with the gals in the PV* I really want a piece of that cake right about now. I'm not huge on strawberries, but I'd totally take some of that sugary goodness. Yummy~ lol, anyways. I gave this dub 5 stars!

Hello! Stage - Part 1

I had the info I needed for this entry a couple days ago, I just never got around to doing it until now. Sorry Chiyo! I just got back from watching the OTP's production of the musical Rent, and it was awesome! On an Aya-ramble sidenote; my feet are so cold! ;w; But yuh, moving on!

This group has only been active roughly 3 weeks, and they have already released four dubs; one from each of their three offical groups, and one from a H!S shuffle group. I was pretty wowed to see so much happening within such a small amount of time. A lot of projects release their first dub, and then it seems to be a long time before they release another one.

H!S currently has 16 members, and one graduated member. Three or four names jump out at me, and many of them I am unfamiliar with; which means discovering more awesome dubbers! Anyways, I checked out this fresh and new dubbing project at the request of Chiyo. I went ahead and did a little questioning, since this group is so very new and I know squat about it, lol.

& homg, I came up with some new questions!

MINI INTERVIEW TIME~

AYA: *When did your project first start?* & *Where did the idea for the project come from?*

CHIYO: "Well, as you can see on our Youtube Account, it says "January 06, 2010". But I created this account before the ACTUAL auditions started.
So I held auditions on January 06, but they didn't work out xD;;. So I stopped the project.

In the meanwhile I had a project called Aozora!Project, but in the end, I had to close it because I was in too many projects myself. After that i felt some kind of emptyness, and I KNEW it was because I closed A!P so I decided to hold auditions somewhere in the beginning of February, on February the 18th, the casting was closed."

AYA: *Who are/is the leader(s) and/or sub-leader of the project?*

CHIYO: "I am the only leader. But I am planning on choosing someone soon to be sub-leader, not telling any names xD "

AYA: *Can you tell me why you picked the groups names that you did?* What do they mean?

CHIYO:
Gekkou ~ Moonlight
Kuusai ~ Horizon
Nagareboshi ~ Falling Star
Nichibotsu ~ Sunset

"Well at first, I wanted to make something like CosmosProject, with names fitting the project, as you can see the 4 above are also about stars and nature things. But in the end I dropped the idea and just began with Hello!Stage~"

AYA: *For the groups, are there set members who dub certain girls?*

CHIYO: "None of our groups are assigned to H!P groups, but it may happen (as it is now). Nagareboshi just released "Suki-Chan" and our next single will be "Otona ni Narutte Muzukashii!", and this will happen with the same members assigned to the same girls. But then again, it won't always happen like this~"

AYA: *Do you plan on having generations?*

CHIYO: "Well I hope on having generations, but I also want to keep as many girls from GEN.1 with me (as I can) :3 But if we have a new generation, I'm planning it on being like 4-5 girls so every group can have a new member."

AYA: *What would you say is the goal of your project;* Are you set on making progress as a group, or is your main goal to just have fun? Somewhere inbetween?

CHIYO: "As you said, of course the main thing is : HAVE FUN. But I also want everybody to improve aswell, especially Gekkou, our trainee group."

AYA: *Any questions for me?*

CHIYO: "Not really. But keep on doing what you're doing because I like reading your blog ! ;3 (AND LISTENING TO DUBBERSRADIO)"

Thanks to Chiyo for taking the time to answer my questions!!
