1 2 3

This was a decision that took some thought, but I've finally decided. I have some news, some amazing news, and some not so awesome news.

1. Yesterday (October 11th) was my birthday! I'm now 21- for us USAers that means drinking legally and getting a horizontal I.D. I don't really care about either of those, but it's just one of those milestone ages. I'm now in my 'early twenties' LOL. I didn't party or anything, but my mom & I had pizza and cake, then went straight to bed 'cause we were tired.

2. I am now an aunt! AND GUESS WHAT?! My niece (Juniper Leigh) and I share a birthday! She was born yesterday at 8:24am. 7 lbs, 10 oz, 20 in. I haven't gotten a chance to see her, but I think I will tomorrow. We're all very excited around here, cause it's the first grandbaby in our (intermediate) family and in my mom's side of the family. YAY! Best birthday present ever.

3. And here comes the sucker punch....I am putting Blabodu on hiatus. The main reason is because it's become bigger than I ever thought and I honestly can't keep up with it. I started this blog just for fun and it ended up going way beyond that, which I have all you lovely people to thank for.

There are always going to be new projects and groups, and I'm only one listener. I'm tabbing somewhere between 80-100 groups & am buried so deeply and always a step behind. I love this place and all y'all to gorgeous little bits. And before I even wrote this I'll admit that I cried some (cause I'm a cryeasy gal). But I feel this is the right choice for me.

Being a part of the dubbing world has been an awesome experience. I've met some wonderful, talented, hilarious, incredible people along the way, and don't even get me started on all the amazing dubs 'n covers I've heard since I discovered that people actually did stuff like this. I've been running this blog for about seven months now, and I've had such a good time!

So thank you, thank you, thank you. All you singers, mixers, and listeners. All you dreamers, encouragers, and hard workers. Everyone that's shared, commented, replied, requested, complimented, etc. This is my 502nd entry, and I'm glad that I also reached that milestone. Thank you for everything.

Now I don't plan to fall off the face of the earth or anything. I just won't be posting here for the time being. I've got a niece to spoil rotten!! I'm sorry for the things I've left undone or halfdone. Like the Interdubbing Medley Concert, Pocket Kisetsu, coverage of the YTC Battle of Choruses, interviews I've had in mind or already in progress, etc.

I hope all of you keep on singing, and doing your thing. Don't let anything get you down. Take the good with the bad, and keep chugging along. Be positive! Stay optimistic! Music is one of the most epic things in this world, in all it's shapes and forms and ways of being created. And y'all have made -and will continue to make- some beautiful music with your voices, dedication, humor, knowledge, willingness to learn and love.

I couldn't possibly name all of the individuals that I hold dear to my heart, but I feel I must mention a few. Rae, you fabulous girl. I love your singing and I'm so glad I met you. Thanks for opening the door for me. That makes you extremely special to me. Your latest dubs have especially touched me. Kappa and Liana, I never got to know either of you super crazy well, but you have always been friendly, funny, and helpful. I think (from an outsider / listeners POV that is) that you're kickbutt leaders.

Fae, you're like, my number one supporter ;w; You've always been there for me, encouraged me, and we've definitely had our laughs. We've triumphed over our time differences (lol) and I hope we're friends for a long time! There are many many more of you, but it'd take too long to list everyone (and I'd end up being crazy picky about trying to mention everyone), and I think I should end this.

I have one more thing to share with y'all. Enjoy.

Misc [KnB + HMPro]

Takahashi Ai: Danica [DanicaFairy]
Niigaki Risa: Memoire [Memoiree]
Kamei Eri: Coco [CocoNStorm]
Michishige Sayumi: Jang [jangbong13]
Tanaka Reina: Ameimi [Ameimii]
Kusumi Koharu: Fuyu [SAILORKONA]
Mitsui Aika: Miri [XxLuvleeMerodiixX]
Junjun: Sootie [SootjeNL]
Linlin: Mystery [xLittleMystery]

*KireinoBijoux ~ Naichau Kamo by Dazzling Diamonds / I like this song, and it's been a while since I've heard it dubbed! There are a good deal of terrific duets and trios in this, like the "Naichau kamo"s at the end of the chorus. And in the pre-chorus you hear Me/Am and Da/Co sing together. Sadly this song is dominated by Ai and Reina solos, but you can't blame the girls for that and this is still a smashing dub all the same.

Ameimi sounds sensational, and Coco blew my mind at 1:28. I love Jang's Sayumi solos in the pre-chorus, and Memorie's 3:00 solo is fantastic! You don't hear any of the other singers solo, but they are in the various smaller groups AND in the two groups that sing in the chorus (Da/Me/Ja/Fuyu/Sootie & Co/Ja/Am/Miri/Mystery). I totally love them!! The blending is hardcore epic! This dub is so win.

Erika - Nao-chi (LuckyChansuProject)
Maimi - Ayuna (AyunaDaisuki)
Saki - Kei (SumomoKei)
Airi - Eun Mi (eunmijjang)
Chisato - Veri (everidian17)
Mai - Kurichii (MonkiiSuki)

*HanaEmiProject ~ Shochuu Omimai Moushiagemasu by Hikari / Ohmygosh, I am really like this project! I love their Waracchaou yo BOYFRIEND dub and their Yuke Yuke Money Dance is good too, and then they come out with this excellent release!! I'm not in love with this song, but I think it's ridiculously cute! HanaEmi's strength IMO is that they blend really well with each other! The group parts in this are spectacular!!

Ay/Kei/Ve and Nao/Eun/Ku are the two trios that sing together, besides that it's a few solos and full-cast lines. I love the verses!! Especially the little "ah ha ha" & "whoo oo" sounds inbetween the lines. They're a bit on the quite side, but SO CUTE! Plus I really like the simple but nice melody, and the brilliant blending.

As for solos, Ayuna sounds lovely and though her lines are short they're splendid! Eun Mi doesn't always have the best energy, but I think she did a great job in this dub! I am in love with her "desu"s (0:58, 2:34). The singing overall is awesome!! I like the trio-sung "Kotoshi no natsu wa"s and every "Shochuu omimai moushiagemasu" ~ I shall be on the lookout for the next HanaEmi release!

NIM: KT & P♥T

For those of you who don't know yet, Renna (leader of HelloProjectAllStars) is hosting a huge collab concert with the intent to bring together various projects, giving each of them their time to shine, to sing their hearts out and show you what they're made of!! You can check out my first entry on it here for more info, links, etc. Thus far released are;

I've blogged about the medleys by TU!P and Kirei na Pro, but have yet to write about the others. So I'd like to focus this entry on track four of the concert;

2005 Haru Dai 6kan
Hit Mankai! Medley P2!

Haru no Uta Cast (KT @ 0:00)
Mikitty330 as Hitomi Yoshizawa
HannaPulla as Rika Ishikawa
LoliiKokoro as Ai Takahashi
Harmonies by LoliiKokoro
Mixed by: HannaPulla

~Oh goodness this is so lovely! I don't think I've ever heard this song before, so it's something new for me. Mikitty's vocalizing throughout the song is really good, and all of her solo lines are brilliant! Hanna sounds very pretty, darn cute too! A wonderful combination of the two that is a delight to the ears, and completely enchanting.

Lolii's mature voice reminds me of Martha a bit, but she's marvelous in her own way. I would have liked to have heard her a bit more, but it's how the concert version was scripted. Props to her on doing the harmonies! There are oodles of great solos in this, and the group-sung "Da Ra Da Ra Da Du Du"s are awesome! This is a really sweet and beautiful, I love it.

"... Suki da yo!" Cast (KT @ 2:46)
Mikitty330 as Hitomi Yoshizawa
Ameimii as Rika Ishikawa
lovelybeige (aka Ai) as Ai Takahashi
HannaPulla & LoliiKokoro join in the last chorus
Mixed by: HannaPulla

~ I love the "PA PA YA"s in this! They're just short little add-ins between lines really, but they're fun. Ameimii & Ai rocked their lines! I love Ai's energy and mature vocals, and Ameimii has a softness to her splendid singing that's darling. I like Mikitty in this as well, but since I've already talked about her once, I'll just keep it brief; she sings excellently and sounds very lovely!!

I like the "CLAP YOUR HANDS" etc parts in this! All of the girls deliver wonderfully, with emotion and at a good volume. They're tremendous on the verse, but I especially love them on the chorus! Their solos are kickbutt, and the trio lines are SO GOOD. They blend magically on the "nani mo iwanaide"s! They are definitely my fave part I think.

Souda! We're ALIVE Cast (PT @ 5:40)
Takahashi Ai: Hikki [DisturbedStrawberry]
Reina & Sayumi: Micchy [Hikasaiii]
Kamei Eri: Jko [TheJayko]
Fujimoto Miki: Mitsuki [MitsukiUsagii]
Niigaki Risa: Rixie [Rixiemixiepixiedixie]
Mixed by: Hikki

~The opening lines in this are fantastic! At first I forgot that this was going to be the concert version of this song, therefore shortened. When it jumped from the beginning to about halfway through, I was confused then went OH, lol. I love the melody of the chorus, the "shiawase ni naritai" etc and P♥T sings it outstandingly! Lots of fabulous blending going on!

There aren't a lot of solos in this portion of the medley, mainly a lot of groups and full-cast lines. You do get to hear each girl solo once though; Hikki (6:09), Rixie (6:16), Jko (6:46), Mitsuki (7:02), Micchy (7:11). They are all magnificent!! The "GO GO GO GO"s really pack a punch, and though I've cared for this song a lot, I think the "...A BEAUTIFUL STAR"s rock! Pinky Team deserves their place in the NIM Concert.

Natsu LOVE Romance

A little while ago I blogged about the opening of Cosmos Project's 1st Natsu Matsuri! ~Natsu LOVE Romance~ concert, featuring members of Hoshizora Project- since then they have released four more tracks!! I haven't been keeping on top of concerts very well, but I shall try and catch up!

I honestly totally forgot that Edo no Temari Uta II [03] was a dub to begin with. I was staring at the pretty costumes and listening to the beginning group lines that blended awesomely and sounded fabulous, and then I remembered! Yuusaku, Kiro, Martha, Ayaka, Bee, Kagami, and Sachiko are freaking epic together!! They could be the real thing, with their talent and spectacular overall sound. The solos are all superb too! I've always really liked this song and I'm delighted by this smashing dub of it. So downloading.

C-ute may not be everyone's favorite group, for various reasons (mine is unfair line division), but they do have their share of good singles. I love it when their songs are scripted, and I really like how Cosmos divided Namida no Iro [04] up! The girls take turns singing the solos, and in the chorus it goes between the Cosmos cast, Hoshizora cast and full-cast lines! You can check out the CClyrics for reference~

I'd like to hear a bit more energy and volume from Sachiko (0:23), she's endearing but a bit quiet. Jaydie (0:29) is a tiny bit pitchy now and then, but I really like her "Sayonara itoshi hito" solo. Kiro (0:38, covering for Yumi) sounds incredible, I love her mature sound and strong delivery. And Saya (0:44) is utterly adorable, sweet and irresistible. Gah, listening to this is making my giddy and smiley.

The pre-chorus is magnificent, I love the Hoshizora girls on "Uwaki nara sore nari ni" ~ Martha (2:33) completely owns her solos, she nails'em hardcore and sings with a terrific abundance of emotion and dazzling umph! The full-cast part at 1:55 is marvelous, I love hearing the girls altogether. Though in a group, Martha does tend to stick out. Overall, I think this is sensational!

Juri! She has the first solo track of the concert; Panpancake [05]! I remember when she sang Happy in HanaPro's concert, also as Koharu. She is really cute, not a Koha clone but fun, peppy, and kawaii in her own way. I really enjoy listening to her, and can't help the squishy smile that crosses my face as I do so. She did a great job!

"WELCOME 3RD GEN MEMBER MOMO! She's a member of Ceres, and I'm so glad she covered Rixie so quickly. Everyone, please take care of her, and the rest of gen 3 as they debut!" Egah, Gen 3? I either forgot or didn't know *shot* Martha is talking about the 6th track and latest release, Anataboshi, in which Momo sings along with Reika and Bee. They all sound marvelous!! The verses are swell, the pre-chorus super splendid, and I totally love them on the chorus!

Keep it comin' Cosmos & Hoshizora!

SPP

"Did you guys know? Actually Summer Pearl's original name is called Sky Pearl. Sky Pearl was formed at 19 May 2009 and released 13 song including solo. But after thinking twice, I decide to change Sky Pearl's name to Summer Pearl. Summer Pearl is also known as Natsu no Shinju in Romaji & 夏の真珠 in Kanji.

After the name got changed to Summer Pearl, only 6 of Sky Pearl got remained, that is, Aiko, Daniel, Valen, Yuki, Michiyo & Aya. Summer Pearl is then continued with 6 of them & new recruited members. 6 of them can be said as the seniors in Summer Pearl & they have the most experience on how Summer Pearl is worked.

Summer Pearl was formed on 26 August 2009. This is a project which dub J-Pop songs, mainly Hello! Project songs, but also non J-Pop songs like Chinese songs, and we are planning on dubbing Korean songs now! ^-^ It's quite same as the past project (Sky Pearl). Before in Sky Pearl, the major dubbing are Japanese, Chinese & Korean, but now we mainly focus on Japanese songs."

The above was pulled from Summer Pearl Project's YT channel, where leader StarMichiyo has a 'History of Summer Pearl' filling up the About Me section.I have only put up a portion of it, so if you're interested in reading further, simply check out the project's profile! I have been meaning to write something about Summer Pearl for forever now, and she's agreed to be interviewed! But all in good time, my dears.

SPP currently has six active groups + soloist; Morning Heart, Bubble Girlz, ºC-utie, S/Strawberry, Piika, Natsu Clover. The project has over 30 members, and has released around 100 dubs! And from the looks of things, Summer Pearl sticks to singing songs by the various groups of Hello! Project. If y'all are interested in exploring, they have a forum- it's setup is different than I've ever seen. I'm not used aimoo I suppose, lol.

Michiyo, Yuki, Nina,
Valen, Moni, Fuyu

Go Girl ~Love's Victory~ (Chinese Version) by Ice Cream MM / CClyrics / A lot of time when project's choose to sing mainly H!P, they sometimes end up sticking to the more popular or most recent songs & groups. It always makes me happy when I see that someone has dubbed ICM, because they sing in Mandarin, so it's H!P but still little different. And they are an awesome group!!

So when I chitchatted a bit with Michiyo of SPP and she shared a few dubs with me, the moment I saw this one I squealed happily and knew I was going to write about it. I love ICM dearly and have their album. I've learned the girls by name and I must say that ShenShen is my favorite. But getting back to the dub (lol), it's fantastic!!

I like how it was scripted; it's all duets, with the exception of a few trios throughout, and the solos near the end. Plus Valen does the "I'm in love you go boy" lines. I had a really fun time listening to this, the girls sound wonderful together and did a really good job overall. I'd love to hear more ICM songs by this Summer Pearl unit.
