C!P

"What is Cherryz!Project you ask? C!P is a Japanese Music dubbing group. We mainly cover Hello!Project groups but we also do a variety of J-Pop Songs by artists from Nami Tamaki to Perfume."

OMG WHY?! Why have I not looked into CherryzProject sooner?! I decided it was about time I got to them today, so I started looking through their dubs and now I am all gnjwebn fkjebwfkb ebfhhbef !!! They have such good taste in song choices!!

They've already sang many songs that are on my wishlist (songs I put up on here and stuff I didn't). I am so freaking excited!! Let's jump right into things!! This is sort of me fangirling over their dubs, I'll do some researching on the project, maybe an interview, and get some info for y'all!

I've seen the first season of Inuyasha because my friend owns it, besides that I've only watched small amounts of anime. But it is the reason I know the song Fukai Mori, and I've always thought that it's chorus is beautiful. Rae and Hikari (Cherry Spring) did a wonderful job on it!

And y'all know by now that I adore anything by Karen Girl's, including Over the Future! I really like how it turned out, I couldn't resist singing along and bouncing about in my seat. The girls sing with a good amount of energy and sound awesome together!

Ohmygoodness ;w; Heavenly Cherry's cover of Hikari No Senritsu is gorgeous! I love that Malice is a part of this project, it makes it that much more awesome for me. Her, Rae-chan and Hikari did an awesome job on singing all the different parts of the song, and the chorus really moved me.

The video for this didn't work out as is explained the in drop-down, so the picture of Kalafina was used instead, but I don't care. The vocals alone are more than enough for me. I am downloading this right now! I'm so glad that mp3s are provided!!

Ah, the harmonies in this are fantastic!! I sat down with my grilled cheese and pressed play and almost instantly was feeling all mushy and in awe. I love this song+PV so much, it's like watching a mini-drama, and hearing the tremendous trio that seems to be popular in Cherryz (Hikari, Malice and Rae-chan) sing it absolutely delights me. This is probably my current favorite from the project overall! Definitely downloading and keeping forever! I strongly suggest y'all listen~

Back in my wishlist entry, I shared my excitement over discovering Cherry Spring's dub of Seishun Ni, Sono Namida Ga Hitsuyou Da! I love that this project sings a good variety of japanese songs!! They have a lot of H!P dubs on their channel as well, but I focused on the non-H!P stuff for fun and something different.

The second video above is WILD WIND ~ Yasei no Kaze no you ni ~ LOL I felt so cool when I realized that I knew what the video was of; Yu Yu Haksuho! I've watched maybe three episodes of it before, and the second I actually paid attention and saw the whip wielding redhead I was like AHA! I'm not in love with the song, but the leader of Cherryz is proud of how this came out!

"We are a long running and underrated group of dubbers who would like your thoughts on some of our favorite works!" I'm glad that this group decided to drop me a comment, because I really really like listening to their stuff. They are definitely right, in that they are underrated. A project this wonderful deserves to be listened to and I am more than happy to share them with y'all! So here is Cherryz's latest release;

Pocket Kisetsu (BBD Ver)

Stupid work keeping me from blogging. I love my days off, and the next one for me is this Thursday!! I came home and didn't have the energy to write anything, but I've been working on something with Kisetsu and so I worked on it for a while tonight.

And thus this is Part 1 of -as the title says- Pocket Kisetsu (BBD Ver). There are over 20 members, so I'm only doing 5 this time, or else the entry would be HUGE. If you are interested in doing something like this for a project your in, contact me!!

Before I begin, I just wanted to shout out that I am interested in doing an interview with a narrowed down topic; I'd like to talk to a group mixer, project or non, and the leader of the group too.

I want to select a dub and then talk (preferably in messenger) about how it came to be; both with the mixer and leader (sometimes they are one in the same). Deadlines, the mixing process, problems, positive stuff, etc. Please let me know if you're interested!!

I went with sort of a concert theme. I asked more than one question, cause I felt like it. And they aren't exactly the type of questions you'd find on Pocket Morning, but this is a way to learn more about the project members. I basically just did things my way, lol.

Questions

[1] If you could design your own Kisetsu concert outfit, what would it be like? If it's one color, what would you pick? If it's 2-3 colors, what would you want? What design; A two piece outfit with belly showing, a dress, a pants/shorts outfit?

[2] Are you the type of person to move your arms about a lot when you sing, hand motions and such? On stage would you rather have a headset-mic so you could be free to move a lot with both limbs, or would you rather be holding onto a mic? Would you prefer to be dance more-than sing like C-ute, or sing more-than dance like Berryz?

[3] What would be (one of) your favorite part(s) of your concert to sing? A medley? A full-cast, all-groups number? A solo? A song sung by the Kisetsu group that you're in? Something else? And would you go more for something upbeat or slower?

[4] Sort of non-Kisetsu- If you could attend a concert by any group, band or person, what would you go to?

[1] If I could design a outfit myself I absolutely would go for a dress! It shouldn't be too short, so I would make it until my knees. If I could only choose one color, I'd go with a cute and happy pink color! If more colors, I might make the dress black with colorful decorations...I'd absolutely use my favorite color then, greenyellow, but as long as it looks cute together, I would definitely use a lot different colors!

[2] I'd rather have a mic, even though it could be annoying while dancing. It just gives me more a 'professional' feeling and I just like holding a mic! Usually, when I sing, I make a lot hand motions. I also do that when I'm talking. It's a good way to express yourself better and to make your message clearer to others.

And I both like C-ute and Berryz Koubou. I like Berryz better as a group and their songs and voices are awesome. But C-ute's songs are really cute and I think I like their dances better. I'm not sure what to choose, but I'm in Kisetsu's Aki Koubou, so, let's go with Berryz!

[3] I'd like to do a medley with all kind of songs of each group, sung by their own group, and a few songs sung by all the groups together! It would give the feeling we're all connected, like a family. Because that's what we are: we are the Kisetsu Family!

[4] I'd go to a Wonderful Hearts concert and watch all the Hello!Project members. I'd buy those color lights and let them shine for all my favorite members! That makes me think, I would love to go to the graduation concert of Junjun, Linlin and Kamei. I really love Junjun and Linlin and it would be nice to see them perform as part of Morning Musume once... T__T

[1] I'd love to wear that gold Pika Pika dress. You know, the ones that's on the photo goods (example). I'd also like to wear the Platinum disc 9 silver dresses. For concerts, I want to wear the blue sparkly outfit from one of the H!P concerts I forgot which one it was XD [example]

[2] I always love to move around when I sing. If not I'd wear a headset for dances. I always do hand motions when I dub for songs XD I don't know If I'm the only person that does this.

[3] I love doing medleys with all of the members. It would be nice ^-^ A upbeat song for the opening of the concert and a slow song for the final curtain call.

[4] I'd go to a Morning Musume concert. It would be a dream if they come over here in the UK for an Anime Expo. If they do, I'M SO GOING. I'd cry if I'm near Ai-chan as she is my idol and I'd really love to meet her someday.

[1] My own concert outfit...? To be very honest, it'll be something comfortable and easy to move in. So it'll most likely be a pants/shorts outfit; maybe a skirt with shorts under. Color-wise, it'll be a dark color (earth shades) with maybe some parts of lighter, warmer colors. =3

[2] Oh yes, I move my arms A LOT when I sing. I kinda emote according to the song. LOL On stage, I think my preference would differ according to song. If it was a slow, ballad-y song, I would rather hold a mic. If it was a nice dance number, then it'll be a headset-mic. I much prefer Berryz to C-ute, so sing > dance like Berryz it is. 8D

[3] My favorite part(s) of a concert...? In order of preference, it'll be: Medley, Genki+, Full-cast all-groups number, a solo. And yes, I'd rather go for a more upbeat song. Slow numbers in concerts are best done in a duet or a solo, IMO.

[4] A concert I could attend... I'll most definitely go for an actual H!P concert. I would also loooove to go to stuff like Rebocon (concert by seiyuus of the anime, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!). On the other hand, I'd love to attend concerts from great dubbing groups like HanaPro and IKP. Even if it's minus the dancing. XD *shot*

[1] It would be two colors. I think I like the light blue and white version of any type of concert outfit. It would be a two piece, and would vary some people showing bellies others covering theirs. It would be a skirt outfit, but with shorts under so you can see both.

[2] When I sing I like to move around, unless the song is slow then I don't move much. On stage I think a headset-mic would work much better 'cause you are more free to move around. I like to sing more than dance, like berryz koubou.

[3] I love choirs so I gotta say my favorite would be a full-cast all-groups number. It would be upbeat with a lot of choreography. Seeing a lot of people doing the same moves and singing together is an awesome sight for me.

[4] I do wish to go to a morning musume concert (since I was lucky enough to go to an akb48, when they came to L.A. and I missed morning musume's).

[1] I would want it to be blue! I really like the color blue, and if it's mix of colors, then blue and pink :) It'd be one of those spaghetti dresses that are fluffy at the bottom~

[2] I do a lot of hand motions and such when I'm singing. I bounce around, and do things that are related to what I'm singing about. If I was on stage, I would prefer a mic though, I don't really like headset-mics, and I can still wave around freely with my other hand. XD Also, I'd like to sing more-than dance like Berryz! I'm weak in the dancing area, but I love to sing, so singing would be much better for me~

[3] Some of my favorite parts in a Kisetsu Project concert would probably be to sing a solo song or to sing a song with different members of the group, for variety. I'd like to sing a slow song, they tend to bring out the best of your voice.

[4] If I could attend any concert by any group, I'd want to go to Arashi's. I absolutely love Arashi to death and I really want to see them live and sing along with them. :) I also really want to go to one of SHINee's concerts, I love them as well!

And that's it for Part 1! I also decided to chop this up 'cause I don't have all the girls' replies yet. But I know school is a big factor with how much time everyone has these days, and I'm good at being patient. I've also decided that I will anwser these questions myself!! I haven't yet decided which girl I'd like in my name-image, cause my favorites are already being used, lol. I might pick outside of H!P for fun or something, idk.

I had a good time reading these replies, and I thank all the girls for their time and Angeru for helping me out with this random idea of mine. I really hope I didn't typo on the images anywhere, cause I'm not too keen on fixing anything, heh. I had a lot of fun playing around in paint though, so it's worth it. Hope y'all enjoyed this! Goodnight~

A little piece of Karen~

I don't know what y'all are thinking, but I am thinking; ABOUT FREAKING TIME! I am always juggling several options when it comes to deciding on what I should blog about. I've been meaning to catch up with Ayuchan's video collection since for a while now, and so this is it!

I left off with part 5, and since then this beautiful girl has released seven more videos! I don't have time to listen to them all tonight, so I shall try and get through a few in this entry and sort of decide as I go. The title I gave this entry I think is very befitting, because I started with part 6, in which Karen noted "I feel like sharing a bit of my life with you"

While singing a 'Hello Project Emo songs medley' she shares facts about herself, random images, as well as her thoughts on H!P members, and other small things that are part of who she is. I LOVE that she plays guitar for us ;w; And all of her song choices are so good!! She can sing pretty much any song in the world and completely own it, sounding epic every moment. Part 6 is amazing.

I absolutely love watching Karen's dance covers, especially when her friends join her. Her dance+dub vids are even cooler, but overall it's just fun to see people having such a blast doing what they love. Their smiles make you smile, and some expressions & movements make me totally LOL. For part 9, she and her crew danced to 2NE1's Fire! It looks like they had a good time and I had oodles of fun watching! OH and I think her Yossie pink hair is crazy awesome!!

Gah I want to write about everything, but I don't have the time. Above are the next two parts- a good ol' fandub, and a video all about Ayuchan's vocal imitations! She is pretty darn good at those, they aren't my kind of thing, but as she points out in the video, they are a way to try out your vocal range and see what you can do. And she ends it with something I always like to bring up in some way, "No matter how we do sound, what matters is to have fun."

Karen's Koisuru Angel Heart Song and Video Cover [P10] is adorably brilliant!! I love her outfit and I think it's a great song for her. Then her my Yossie addiction [P11] is beautiful! She duets with Yossie! "Harmonies, some lead vocals and extra vocals you'll hear were done by me...this is like ''my version'' of the song...with Yossie..." They sound so freaking good together *o* We all have our H!P faves, and we love to love them.

Tan Tan Tan [P12] is super adorable! I love Ayuchan's pink top, and all the other small things about her outfit that just work! She's not a Milky Way clone, but she's cute in her own way! And she sounds sweet 'n lovely! And that's up to the most recently released of Karen's NiJi-Iro-KanJi Video Collection. There is only one left!! I can't wait to see what it's going to be.

Something else that ChiiAyu's been doing in celebration of her dubbing anniversary is duets with her friends! So far she's sung with Lina [Supahwicked], Ash [diabolicbread], Eri [Charmystar01], Okie [DivaDagger], Saya [AnimefreakXDD], and Michikosaki. I think this is a swell idea and a good way to build even more great memories between friends. Plus it's also fabulous listening material for me & y'all.

And thus, I want to end this with one last dub, and that's Sweeeeets sung by Karen and Michikosaki. I love this song to pieces!!! It was actually in my Wish-list entry, cause I love the melodies a ton and adore the fact that it's originally a Chisato & Kanna duet. So when I saw this among ChiiAyu's videos, I knew I had to at least mention how happy I am at their song choice and how much I love their duet! They sing wonderfully and sound delightful together!

Until next time~

Motto Imouto

I have to have to have to have to
start this entry off with this;

Cast: Kiro, Asuka, Hikari, Stella, Ayumi

Shunkan Sentimental by Chiisai Otaku / OH MY kfjewjkfnejkn!! I am such a hardcore SCANDAL fan, and they are rarely groupdubbed! A lot of guitarists play their songs and sometimes you may find a solo cover- but not all that often. I about hyperventilated when I saw MI had sang this song. They have a little piece of my heart forever cause of this ;w;

Yeah yeah, the energy level could have been a lot higher, but I'm so flippin' excited about their song choice that I don't care. The chorus is my favorite part of this, because I love all of the trios and mini-groups the girls sing in! It's fabulous to me and I couldn't help rocking out. Also I think the energy is the best in the chorus~

LOL the other day my mom was by the computer cause I was looking something up for her, and she snagged one of my earbuds to listen to what I was listening to. Then for some reason or other I started playing the few videos I have, including one of SCANDAL's and I was naming the girls off and like; 'Mom, they're awesome. And her? That's Tomomi. I love her' - I love all of them though, they are epic individuals that make up one smashing whole.

Ahem, anyways [/fangirlness] So yeah, I'm pretty much over the moon about this dub. There are a lot of good solos, and I'm really glad these gals gave this song a go. Kiro's opening solo is fantastic- so strong, and I love her voice!! I have to say that Stella's energetic & kickbutt singing caught my attention, and I really like Hikari's solo at 2:56.

Everyone sang a lot throughout the song (yay for good scripting) forming different pairs and such, like marvelous sounding Asuka/Ki/Hi at 2:51. Though I would have liked to hear Ayumi solo more than just the small lines she had, she sounds really sweet at 2:36. Overall I got a happy high from listening to this, and would love to hear another SCANDAL song from Motto Imouto!

I had to get that excitedness out of my system, lol. And now that I have, on with more MI! They recently celebrated 50 subscribers with the above dub of Lucky Cha Cha Cha! It's super cute and a really fun listen! The girls did a sensational job on it! Congrats to them; I hope their number of fans continues to grow!

2010 Fall Concert
Go! Go! Gakuen (Part 1)

Boss-chama, Stella, NozoAi, Nichan,
Hikachi, Asuka, Hikari, Me-chan,
Kiro-chan, Superkagome, Ayumi

VTR + Manatsu no kousen & Happy Summer Wedding / YAY CONCERT! They're so much fun! Boss-chama apologized for what she did for the VTR, but I think it turned out nicely! I love that the text is easily readable and different colors! I also really like the info provided- dubbing is so cool because it unites people of all ages and nationalities!

Wow, I haven't heard the first song in a long time. I remember back when I first heard it and wrote about it on my H!PE blog, lol. I did not like it, but I must say that those "ENDORESU SAMAA"s have really grown on me. They sound marvelous in this, and they're probably my favorite part- besides the gorgeous blending!! The girls sound spectacular together!!

Muhaha, I used my super detective skillz to find the CClyrics for this!! Except I'm not sure if they are completely accurate, so please remember that if you refer to them. jfnejkwnfew, the solos are all outstanding! I love Nichan's "sore demo ii kka" at 2:19, but every solo is splendid! And then it's the next song~ohmygawd, those "Pala Pala Pa PA"s are SO CUTE!

I've always loved the "tousan kaasan arigatou" line in the first verse, and Hi/Ni/Bo (I think that's right) sing the first part spot on, with everyone joining in on the "arigatou" ~ Nozoai's manly "WAHAHA" totally made me laugh, and I love the full-cast "Fuwa Fuwa Fu"s! Overall, I like that the songs were a bit more uncommon, and I think Part 1 turned out wonderfully!!

[Beautiful Angels Normal Girls]

Okay yay! It's BANG time! Work was okay today, but then I had a real crappy hour after I got home. Then I ate food, got a blanket to snuggle with and plunked myself down in front of my wonderful computer, so I could blog for you lovely people. And I'm going to start off with my interview with BANGProDubs~

AYA: The first thing to my mind when I think BANG is NU ABO, because it was the group's debut. Why did y'all choose that song?

AYUCHI: The truth is that nu ABO wasn't our debut, only our first song uploaded to our new YT account because the old one was deleted by copyright...Our real debut was Bambina by NEWS and soon I'm going to reupload all the songs we had in the other account for our first aniversary like group.

AYA: On your channel profile it's noted that your name stands for 'Beautiful Angels Normal Girls'. Is there something special behind that? Who came up with it?

AYUCHI: When I was talking with Miyo about creating the group, we wanted to choose a name that's easy to remember but also for it to have another meaning, like the names of our dear groups NEWS & KAT-TUN.

And after some failed names, BANG came to my mind because I wanted to create a group with lovely and different voices that sounded like angels (or something like that) together- so we're like Beautiful Angels when we're singing but the truth is that we're a group of Normal Girls that love to sing and put all our effort into making it the best we can.

AYA: What would you say is the goal of your group; Are you set on making progress as a group, or is your main goal to just have fun? Somewhere inbetween?

AYUCHI: Our goal? We don't have any goal but to have fun together... mmm but I think that our big goal could be to reach the heart of the people who listen to our songs because we put all our heart in them.

AYA: How often do you think you'll release dubs? Y'all have five up at the moment, and I was wondering (especially with school in the way now) if there is a game plan for releases?

AYUCHI: We usually release a single with 2 songs and 1 egg's song for month, and sometimes special songs like nu ABO with some of us in. The last month we didn't release any new single because now we're working on a bigger project and it takes much time to release. So our release amount...depends on the free time we have to release extra songs or not.

AYA: Recently there has been a 'Sakura' theme going-on. I think it's really cool and like the majority of the songs chosen. Props to whoever came up with the idea. Will there possibly be any more themes?

AYUCHI: The Sakura theme is a idea that came to my mind and the girls of the group (or like I sometimes say, my angels) liked it so we did it ^^ And, like the Sakura theme,...more themes could come again or any of my angels can propose another theme in the future.

AYA: Anything interesting you'd like to add? Or any news?

AYUCHI: I'm proud with our group style because we are a group that changes the style of music (we sing) all the time, and not like the usual in the fandub groups that only sing jpop or kpop. It was our first idea when I created the group with Miyo and we're making it happen. And now I have to say a great news and it's that we're working on our first concert!!

We have some problems with that because some of our members couldn't take part on it and we have to cover them in all the songs, but soon we're going to release it so wait for it. And another great news is that next month we're going to celebrate our first anniversary as a group ^o^ I have to say too that if anyone has any proposals for the group we're really open. And finally thank you Aya for being interested in us.

Recently Ayuchi has started doing what she mentioned; re-uploading previously released dubs to the current BANG channel. I originally got her reply last week, and right after that Resonant Blue and MY BOY could be found among the other uploads, including the 'Sakura' themed ones also mentioned. Of the two I happen to like Resonant the most~

I really really BANG's cover of Sakura Girl! So much that I pleaded for the mp3 and now savor it. Also, the debut of the new account -nu ABO- is definitely worth a listen!! It's so gooooood! It's ridiculous that this group has so little subscribers! Check them out, y'all!

Honki Pro's Latest~

Hah, I started to do a mini-BTW entry, cause it was already late and I didn't think I'd have time for anything else. I got one dub into it and then on this next one I kept on writing, until I decided to just give it it's own entry! Work + The Amazing Race kept me from blogging more than this today, but there is always other days~

Shimizu Saki : Kuri [MonkiiSuki]
Tsugunaga Momoko : Arisu [RaReiRoo]
Tokunaga Chinami : Lily [SytheMeisterLily]
Sudou Massa : Aiko [ReinaLoverai]
Natsuyaki Miyabi : Natsumi [KonataIzumi124]
Kumai Yurina : Ayuna [AyunaDaisuki]
Sugaya Risako : Chinatsu [fandubzRmylife]

VERY BEAUTY by Kagayake Koubou (Honki Project) / I am a Berryz fan. I am not a Very Beauty fan though. This song has never really grown on me. I like it, but at the same time I just don't care to listen to it. I've never really thrilled to hear dubs of it either, but I'm always willing to give stuff a go- regardless of my tastes. And in this case, I'm happy I did!

This isn't by any means perfect, but it's...endearing. I like that the girls sang this song, even though it's well known for it's high notes. They sound extremely sweet, and really charmed me. Chinatsu did a splendid part on the opening solo, I especially like her "sameta toki ni wa" ~ I love her mature voice! I picked out Natsumi as Miyabi before I looked at the castlist. I find her so so...I wanna squeeze her cause I adore how she sounds! I've come to know her singing pretty well and I think her solo is swell!

Ayuna sounds magnificent on her solo! She has a unique sound that I really like, and I think her lines are great! Her "shiteru" (2:32) is so good!! I don't know what word to use, but just add a ton of so's in front of that 'good' and you've got it. I love her little bit of vibrato!- it's only one word, but it's exquisite sounding to me. And ohmygosh, I LOVE Lily's "Sore ga onna yo" at 3:18ish!! She's so kawaii!! Freakin' epic. I haven't even mentioned the group parts yet!

The Na/Chi & Ay/Ari duets in the chorus are spectacular! They blend crazy awesomely! The girls all tackled the high notes well, so props to them! I really like Kuri in the pre-chorus mini-groups, along with Aiko, Lily and Arisu. Every singer contributed to that part of the song, and they're fabulous. The most win thing about this dub for me has got to be the full-cast lines in the chorus. They're so pretty ;w; Despite the song choice, I really enjoyed listening to this dub!!

BTW [P2]

I just want to remind y'all that just cause I write a little about a dub here, it doesn't mean you can't still ask me to write more about it. I'm just going through my subs, and I already see stuff that I'd like to maybe fully write about, but not at the moment. It's just BTW right now, and then on to other things~

Hopeless Dream Chasers:
Izumi [sparklingIZUMI]
Risa [omgspazattack]
Noeruu [kingdomheartstibute]
Okie [DivaDagger]
Yuri [Fuonyuri]

The Mandarins:
Rixie [RixieMixiePixieDixie]
Juju [BvbyJuju]
Karri [LittleKarri]
Ai [lovelybeige]

*alo!kira (xxHelloSparkle) ~ as long as there's love IT'S ALRIGHT / I don't know if I've ever actually heard the second Gen...I think I have, but maybe not with the first Gen? *looks at channel* OMG PIRIRI TO YUKOU I need to listen to that ;w; And make an alo entry soon! Anyways~ The blending in this is wonderful!! Both generations sound incredible with one another, they work well together!

I love love love all of the trios and other smaller group parts so much!! The solos are spectacular, and the chorus is sweet + pretty. This is such a heart-warming dub!! There is some iffy timing, but nothing major- and the little bits of laughing are so kawaii! I can't begin to say enough good things, and express how much I adore this release. The girls' singing is so clear, spot on, and extraordinary! It's pure enchanting win.

Cast (In order of solos)
Mitsuki [MitsukiUsagii]
Hikki [DisturbedStrawberry]
Michi [HitsugayaHinamori]
Aiko [Reinaloverai]
Awai [MadleyBloomingStar]
Jko [TheJayKo]

*xPinkyTeamx ~ Natsu Remember you by Pinky♡Team / I couldn't help smiling and swaying in my seat as I listened to this! I love the melodies and overall it's so sweet + cute! The girls sound so good on the chorus! Those "I'll remember you"s are definitely my favorite parts in the whole dub! And OMG the verses are crazy kickbutt lovely!

There is some great blending going on throughout the song, and oodles of sensational singing! This is another one of those dubs that makes me insanely happy and filled with good feelings, so much that my brain fails with words. It's SO worth a listen. I'm glad Pinky Team makes sure to do something ballad-like every once in a while, cause they're amazing at these kinds of songs. I got a little teary eyed listening, heh.

Saki - Ayuna [AyunaDaisuki]
Momoko - Kaede-chan [lolypop227]
Chinami - Kurichii [MonkiiSuki]
Maasa - Veri [everidian17]
Miyabi - Eun Mi [eunmijjang]
Yurina - Kanny [kannychan21]
Risako - Kate-chan [PirateCool192]

*HanaEmiProject ~ Waracchaou yo BOYFRIEND by Bouken Berryz / Ohmygosh, this seriously impressed me. I've only heard a few dubs from this project, and I actually really like their Yuke Yuke Monkey Dance dub- but this is tremendous! The blending on the group parts is divine and the girls are so together! The solos are clear and adorable! And the energy level is pretty good too!

I'm also happy that this song was picked, because it's not dubbed very much; so extra points for song choice! This is so ridiculously cute, I love it! This isn't a dub that knocks your socks off, but it's very darling and makes you smile hardcore. I immensely enjoyed listening to it!! I am so downloading! Y'all should keep an eye on the Bouken Berryz girls~

Asami: Chiiemiemi
Miuna/Konno Asami: midorixdd

*SakuraProjecto ~ Shining Itoshiki Anata by Cherry Eggs / The cast list confuses me a little bit, so I just listened without thinking about who sang when. I've never seen the MV for this song! Only the Ai+Reina duet. There is lots of lovely + cute singing in this, but I think overall I'd like to hear the girls deliver their lines with more emotion. There is some pitchiness throughout the solos, but I give'em all props for effort. The mixing sounds fine to me! Some girls' pitch could use some work is all and I'd like to hear them get really into what they're singing.

BTW [P1]

Thanks for the comment Purply ;w; And thanks to everyone who supports me! I know I'm not the quickest sometimes *curses work* but I love this blog. Today is already half over, and the camp-out is finally fully done so I'm not busy with that anymore! I'm going to jump right into things so I can attempt to get done as much as I can!!

Lol, BTW actually on a Saturday; GO ME! That's two weekends in a row, which seems a silly thing to be happy about, but I like when stuff works out how I originally plan. Again, this time I am just going off my subs list. If I start trying to backtrack further than what's on it, I'll take too long. So without further rambling, here we go~

Jonghyun: Joanna [funkystar25]
Min Ho: Britt [TwistandSh0ut]
Key: Cherry [cherrysakura16]
Tae min: Charles [Charlesdavid]
Onew: Nixira [shanixira]

*KCJEntertainment ~ Jo Jo by KCJE Collabs / Thank goodness for this website. The writer color codes songs by a lot of Korean groups- I used this site for when I wrote about XOXO's Star Star Star dub. When I started listening to this magnifcent dub, I was sad cause I had no idea who was singing when, because I don't know my SHINee guys. But now with the lyrics, I can figure it out!! Anyways~

The girls have gorgeous voices, and all of these singers sound freaking amazing!! Joanna's "My Heart" + vocalizing at 0:09 and her solo at 0:16 are impressive! I love Cherry, Nixira and Charles on the verses- they're brilliant. Charles is the only guy in the bunch and he's fantastic!! Britt's part at 1:18 is excellent, she also sings the "Hey...Love...Stay"s at the end of the chorus.

And speaking of- the chorus is fiercely awesome!! I really like this song, especially the chorus and these KCJE singers sang it smashingly!! I'm in love with this dub. The group as a whole hits so so so many good notes- in their solos as well as on group lines. Every second of this is superb.

Shuensha; Usagi [BanryuSaint], Ookami [Marianahime]
Kitsune [Miyazuchan], Shika [AnimefreakXDD]
Saru [xmikipinkux], Ushi [MomoxMochi], Uma [Riondrug]

Kyohaku; Inu [NatsujiSen] Niwatori [Yuns217]
Kaeru [Konaneko93], Neko [Diabolicbread]
Kaba [0lollipopz0], Usagi [BanryuSaint]

°S-uta;
Kumo [Amiswami2], Nezumi [Nozomi25], Kuma [Adelutzah03]
Hukurou [xLittleMystery], ChouChou [Breecuppycake]

Taiyou; Tatsu [xXLuvleeMerodiiXx]
Kame [Aznfiregirl], Morumotto [ILA1080]

*Hoshi Project ~ ALL FOR ONE & ONE FOR ALL! / "Hello! Ushi here. For those of you who don't know I was given leadership of HoshiDubs, and this dub was done as a farewell to our original producer, Hoshi-chan! " ~ How sweet! ;w; As many project members as possible particapated and the end result is really pretty.

I like this song a lot, the meaning behind it. It's such a great group song! I have to download this. I'm really proud of Hoshi, and that's just as an outsider, a listener, a fan. Thanks for providing the mp3, it's so worth having. I know I've been being all mushy lately, but when a dub really touches me, I can't help it. I love this.

Cast: (In order of Solo hearance)
Angel, Yuki, Andry

*AtarashiHappyCharm ~ Onna ga Medatte Naze Ikenai by Mirakuru Musume / I love it when projects stray from the original scripting of a song! We all know that the distribution isn't always super fair, and plus it's fun to mix things up. This song was dubbed with only three people, and I think they did a fabulous job! I get confused about who is singing when without lyrics to follow, but these ladies sound very very lovely!

I am loving someone's vibrato, and all of them sing with a good amount of energy. They're marvelous on all parts of the song; the solos + smaller group parts in the verses & pre-chorus, and the group lines + solos in the chorus. I love the "onna ga medatte naze IKENAI" and the "massugu ___ My ___" lines! Overall, this is wonderful~

Mitsui Aika: Chelsea
Nakajima Saki: Michiyo
Kumai Yurina: Kate
Sugaya Risako: Yuki

*MorningFanProject ~ School Days by Cutie 4 / This is so cute! There are some things that could be better, but the girls sound adorable! All of them have great voices, and I'd like to hear them a bit louder & clearer. I know the fuzzy muffled quality is probably due in part to a mic, making it sometimes hard to hear the girls well enough over the music and fuzziness combined.

But it in no way takes away from the loveliness of these gals- I love their singing! This song isn't exactly bursting with upbeatness; it's easy-going and nice & I think the girls sing it with a good amount of energy on their solos and also as a group. They sound marvelous altogether, though the chorus in this isn't my favorite; I prefer them on the verses. Overall, the quality could be better, but the singing is swell.

Ash [ diabolicbread ] *
Fuyumi [ sailorkona ]
Jess [ lilmenchi ]
Molly [ mollyxface ]
Yuns [ yuns217 ]

*KiramekiDubs ~ Onna ni Sachi Are by Gesshoku / CClyrics / DEBUT! Congrats on this group releasing track one of their first single! I sort of knew this was coming, from when I talked to Chiyo about Kirameki; and here it is! Or I should say; here they are- the dazzling gals who make up Gesshoku, and the ones that sang this song for us! Ash took on Rosetta's part in this, and is one of the project's helping-hands.

Jess, Yuns and Ash are all terrifically splendid & Fuyumi and Molly sound really pretty. I totally dig the solos in the verses, but the real win for me is the various duets and trios!! I like the pre-choruses a lot because of them -the blending is delightful- and the chorus is awesome!!

Gesshoku's second track is listed as 'Namida no Iro' and since they do their own scripting, I am really looking forward to it! And just for kicks, Kirameki Shuffles recently released Love Like Candy Floss, so check that out y'all. I'm glad to see that this project is still alive and kickin' cause I like them a lot. If you do too, you should subscribe!

Shizen [News + Recent Releases]

Shiroi Tokyo by Koibito [Gen 1]
(Shizen's Latest Release)

I was going to interview Shizen Project, at Ayaka's request- but then I found I'd already interviewed her. But she was sweet enough to send me the request and get my contact info for MSN, so I couldn't resist. Instead we did a sort of 'What's new with Shizen' meeting-thing.

LOL we actually kept talking over each other, which was kind of funny, but I got a lot of info and it was cool to chat one-on-one with the Shizen's leader. (Note: Because we talked over each other, I had to move some replies around, so it wouldn't be confusing) Sorry this is so long~

AYA: Okay for starters, why don't you pick something new that has happened recently in Shizen and tell me about it.

AYAKA
: We gained 9 new members. Our new trainees- they will help us other if we need to be covered in songs. They will also do songs themselves, I haven't started that out yet because we are currently recruiting two more. The second thing is we are working on a concert that we plan on being released in winter 2011.

We have got six new splinter groups covering old H!P stuffs. Like Country Musume, Coconuts Musume and Melon Kinenbi. We haven't started them yet but the cast is up.

AYA: So many projects are having auditions lately!! It's exciting, lol. Are all 9 members trainees? Have you thought any about what kinds of songs you'd like them to sing? A Shizen Concert!? YAY! It's a little bit away, but just the thought of it fills me with glee. Do you have names for the splinter groups yet?

AYAKA
: Since it have been so long since you interviewed me, I can also tell you we got 11 new gen.4 members. Joined on July 31st. Yes, all 9 members are trainees and they will sing in groups- like, they'll sing small group songs and are going to be in new group everytime they sing a new song.

So W, Minimoni, S/mileage, KiraPika, GAM and other small stuffs. All our groups have a name of things in the nature, because of the name 'shizen' that means nature. The first one is Hanabira that covers Tanpopo. Then it is Mitsurin covering Country Musume, Nanairo Sui covering v-u-den, Takazora that covers Melon Kinenbi, Coconuts Musume group is Soyokaze Musume, and Nagareboshi covering Milky Way.

No trainees are in these groups or the units only in their own group. OH WAIT I forgot a detail- Trainees are covering and singing and when we think they are ready they will graduate to form a new generation (full members).

AYA: Anything else new going on? Are you doing anything special for Christmas?

AYAKA: I haven't thought of that but since I am soon done with the coding for the concert and we are going to mix it in December, I don't think we'll get time to make a special thing for christmas. We've got a name of the concert it's called Shizen! Project 2011 WINTER Fuyu no Tanoshimi ~Shizen!Champloo~

We are trying to make the members more active because in the meantime we are not that active, the leaders and I want us to be. So we are working together and planning on how to do it, we have a leader discussion on the board.

AYA: Aww I like it!! (the concert name) Are you going to pull random tracks from different concerts, or are you going to fully cover a concert track list? Like a full C-ute concert, or a full Wonderful Hearts concert, etc

That's awesome! With school and work & such, I'm sure activeness can be a struggle. Goodness knows, my work makes me a slow blogger quite often. A lot of projects go under because of it, so I'm glad that y'all are fighting it! I really like listening to y'all's singing!

AYAKA
: A full concert. I am a bit...I don't know what it's called but I have seen three posts on your blog from projects doing the same concert. But we are doing a full concert track list...Hello Project 2009 SUMMER Kakumei Gannen Hello Champloo!

AYA
: Cool, I was just curious~ I wish you the best of luck with it, and will try and keep an eye out for it! So; new members, trainees, concert, new groups...is that about all for the Shizen news? OH question! Your profile mentions AKB48, but you've mainly done H!P. Do you have plans for any AKB48 dubs?

AYAKA
: Yes, we have a AKB48 group called SPD48. We've only got 5 members for it so I don't know what to do with it. Um...news. Let me think. We opened a korean group, I am still doing the coding for our first single. I HOPE to get it done by (the end of) October if my members give lines on time haha.

AYA
: You could try and cover the subunits of AKB48? They have some really good songs that are underdubbed. WHAT? A Korean group?! Yay~ My birthday is in October *winkwink* I like it when projects go outside of H!P, or whatever their focus is. It's fun to try different things.

AYAKA
: I know about the subunits, but you know, I wanted something big. Like AKB is big and I thought it would be good with a big group. But I am afraid of copyright, don't wanna loose ShizenProjectDubs. I like it too. I personally think H!P is very much dubbed and I think other groups need some dubbing-spotlight.

AYA
: A lot of projects use images that show who is singing when, but no video. To try and protect themselves. That could work, eh? H!P is dubbed a lot!! And that's not bad, but it's the same songs and groups over and over. Other groups should get some spotlight indeed!

AYAKA: Yeah! I did that on the Aishite Aishite Ato Ippun video. You know, I've got Photoshop CS2 but no mixing software. So It's pretty useless.

AYA: Uh-huh, I remember :'3 Going back to the activeness, are your members pretty active in the forums?

AYAKA
: To be honest NO! You know some of them (or mostly all I think) are checking it but not all are posting. I have some that posts alot, like Kaki. She is on about 6 times a day, she is the spambot. No, not everyone is active. We are working on it!

I'm trying to put in games and other stuffs. Angeru [KisetsuProject] gave me a tips about starting fanfiction about the project, but since my english skills and writing skills are near 0 I don't think it would work. But the leaders and I are working on it.

AYA: I used to be such a forum person, but now I rarely take part in them. Games are always a fun way to keep busy in the forums~ OH Angeru, that sweetheart. That was really nice of her. I adore fanfiction, but it's not for everyone. Where are you from? Even if nothing comes of it, it's nice that you and other projects can bounce ideas off each other!

AYAKA: I'm from Sweden. My mum is from Japan but we moved here due to my dad is swedish and he got a job here. Why aren't you on forums anymore? I remembered you on hana pro's old forum. What happened?

AYA: Sweden! I've been to a few places in the East, but never there. And don't worry about your English, I fail at all languages lol. Even before I got into dubbing, I used to live on forums. I'm talking years ago (when this gal was a little teenybopper). I tend to move from one thing to another. Something will hold my interest for a year, maybe more.

Then I find something else I like. But I don't think that will happen with dubbing. I went through a Gaia phase (5-6 years) and a fanfiction reading/writing stage. But now it's all dubbing for me~ Blogging takes up too much of my time and I though I often lurk in forums, I don't post much.

...Okay I'd better cut this off, it's getting long LOL.

Misc [Project stuff + auds]

I've noticed a few projects made short videos about their latest going-ons, so I wanted to share them with y'all. And I was excited to see Hoshi's Dubbing History! Totally going to listen to that! I'm also going to add in some auditions videos~

TU!P

I've been meaning to write about TU!P for a bit now, and it's just been pushed aside while I got to other things. But I've had all my info and windows open since last night for this entry! I'm doing it now!!

Goodness me, where to start?! I will always love Star!U's dub of Nobody, because it is fabulous! I haven't listened to everything by them, but of what I have it's probably my favorite! The group has released quite a few other wonderful dubs, all Korean. In August the group opened their own YT channel, StaruTUP. There I read something exciting!

"We are looking for 1-2 new members in October during the Star!U GOTTA KICK IT UP! 3(rd Gen) Auditions hosted by Totally Up! Project. It will run from October 1-31 and results will be announced on November 3." -- Yay! October is turning out to be a promising month! All this Star!U talk is leading up to this;

Jessica: Katie [ sayuriku ]
Yuri: Kappa [ xmikipinkux ]
Yoona: Zoey [ XoZoeymonxx ]
Taeyeon: Katie [ sayuriku ]
Tiffany: Teefah [ xeefah ]
Sooyoung: Sachiko [ TinyTaiphoon ]
Hyoyeon: Zoey [ XoZoeymonxx ]
Sunny: Hachi [ giulialex ]
Seohyun: Eva [ waterpixieva ]

Into the New World by Star!U of Totally Up! Project / Ohgolly I had a huge LOL moment. I have a playlist that turned into a SNSDlist, which has Femme Fatale, XOXO, and now Star!U. There are two dubs of this song, one at the beginning and one at the end. So if I have it on repeat I end up hearing one right after the other. Oops.

While waiting for this video to load, I played the mp3 I downloaded days ago- except after one play through I was going to play it again, but somehow forgot and it went on to Femme Fatale's version. And when I was looking at the CClyrics I kept playing the solos in the dub over and over, because the line that said it was Kappa, didn't sound like her. WELL DUH AYA! Cause it wasn't Kappa. Sadly, it took me a little while to figure out exactly what happened.

ANYWAYS, back to the Star!U dub; it's sensational!! I love this song to pieces, so when I glanced at the TU!P profile and saw it was one of the recent releases, I was super happy. The group parts are SO good ;w; So pretty, and blendy and strong and pretty! Totally my favorite part of this! All of the girls did an outstanding job on their solos too!! But the chorus touches me. Such a lovely melody sung so well by these gorgeous-sounding ladies. Star!U should be proud of their hard work and talent~

Other recent releases include the above solos, Kataomoi no Owari ni by Katie (left), and Natsu Doki Lipstick by Hitomi (right) who is a featured soloist on the blog right now! OH WOW, I was just re-browning TU!P's channel and noticed that they have a blog! It's been open since July of this year!

I think blogs are SUCH a good idea for projects. It really helps listeners and fans keep on top of the news, and there are so many fun things you can do! Such as Inside the Project, which is "a segment where we ask members from Totally Up! Project questions and they answer them. It gives others more insight into the fun natures of our members." TU!P's blog is very pretty! And pretty active.

One thing that caught my attention was actually at the bottom of the page, in the farthest down entry; mention of Ikenokoi / AkaAnzu. I wrote a whole entry on this kid (it took me forever forever to find it though, because I fail). And he is not someone you want to make yourself vulnerable to.

I haven't really been on top of concerts lately, heh. It's just another thing I need to catch up on. But while I'm already blogging about TU!P, I wanted to share the latest track from their ongoing concert! And something else too! But first;

Tanaka Reina: Zoey
Sudou Maasa: Molly
Michishige Sayumi: Angelfirebabe
Yajima Maimi: Jaydie

Suki Sugite Baka Mitai by Totally Up! Project 2010 Summer / On the PV first; I love the Momo, Reina, Megumi and Maimi version of this a lot. BUT I love that this version has Maasa and Sayumi and Maimi!! Reina is okay, but she's miss popular. I love that the other girls got to sing this song!

I adore this song to death, so this group get lots of love for song choice. It does call for a lot of energy, and I think the amount this is sung with is pretty good. I really love Zoey and Molly, but all of the girls -definitely Angeru and Jadie as well- did a splendid job! I love the choruses!

Annnnnnd *trumpet going BA BA-BA BA*

Legend 9 Cast:
Yumiko, Purply, Katie, Michelle, Hinaki,

SWEET 8 & Purply Cast:
Aly, Molly, Eva, Purply, Serenyty,
Angelfirebabe, Yuki, Corsica, Boo

Medley Song List:
- Bon Kyu! Bon Kyu! BOMB GIRL [Legend 9]
- Please! Jiyuu no Tobira [SWEET 8 & Purply]
- HAND MADE CITY [Legend 9]
- Odore! Morning Curry [SWEET 8 & Purply]
- Bon Kyu! Bon Kyu! BOMB GIRL [Legend 9 then All]

Nine Smile~ Medley / Another project recently did this medley as well, not as part of HPAS Interdubbing, but it's still funky listening to the same medley so soon again. But I don't mind in the least, because this is rockin' and I admire the work that these girls put into this dub. I know a lot of projects felt very happy + special to be apart of this concert, and TU!P definitely deserves it!

Michelle's "Come On" is darling! The beginning is upbeat and fantastic, and a short but great start! I love the second part of the medley so much!!! Eva and Aly 's solos are excellent & lovely! All the girls really brought it in the chorus, they sound spectacular! They also totally pwned the verses, delivered the song with lots of energy, and the "Please Be Freedoms" are awesome!

The first part of HAND MADE CITY could have used a little bit more attitude, but it's still really good- Katie and Yumiko did a magnificent job on the solos and I think the girls' echos are adorable. I love love love the second part of the song ;w; The melody is insanely pretty and everyone sounds exceedingly pretty together; it makes me mushy-smiley! The blending is so good.

Oh goodness, I love this group on Morning Curry!! They sing it with oodles of energy! All of the smaller groups parts are smashing!! The girls sound beyond amazing on every line! I am failing at using a good enough vocab to really say how wonderful they sound. Molly and Aly 's "Mooningu karee"s could maybe have used a tiny bit more growl but they still pack a punch! And Purply's "Ironna karee aru ga" at 4:43 is fabulous!!

I love the chorus in this part of the medley!! The gorgeous various group parts makes this dub the level of win that it is. Then it's more BON KYU to bring this to an end. It's such a fun, cute song and I love how the TU!P gals sound on it! All of the solos are sensational!! Hinaki is so sweet at 6:35, And Danica's following "Aishite kudasai na" is terrific!

Overall this is a really enjoyable listen!! All of the girls -those with and without solos- contributed to this greatly and they're the reason this is so epic!! Thank you to TU!P and HPAS for bringing this medley to us; keep on being awesome!

And last but not least, I end this with Totally Up! Project's most recent release;

Yoshizawa Hitomi: Boo
Ishikawa Rika: Writerserenyty
Konno Asami: Tomie
Satodai Mai: Corsica
Noto Arisa: Hanna
Korenaga Miki: Suki-chan
