3. Hand Made CITY
4. Odore! Morning Curry
5. Bon Kyu! Bon Kyu! BOMB GIRL

Indies Special: C/W Medley by Egao 9 (HanaPro) / I was lol-ing and smiling and giggling and stuff as I listened to this, on top of rocking out to this amazing medley! This is some seriously good stuff. The opening Bon Kyu part is short but dazzling. I really like the second part/ song!! The "Please be freedom"s are cool, the verse and pre-chorus wonderful. I love the "Kawaritai" at 1:15. But the chorus pwns hardcore!! The girls sound awesome on the melody.

I am not a fan of Hand Made City. Well at least not the beginning part, the repetitiveness gets to me after a while, lol. Kap & Kan did a great job on the solos though! And 3:06 is pretty! I love the melody change and the girls sound outstanding together! The fourth track is such a fun song! OMG! Ajisai and Kappa's "Mooningu karee!" are EPIC. kjdfnqjkwdnjkwdnwq. I love love love them! The pre-chorus is smashing, I like hearing all the smaller duets and trios.

Suiren's "Ironna karee aru ga" at 4:43 is mega kickbutt! I love the melody of this part of the song, whatever it would be considered. It's awesome and Egao9 dominated it. And what better way for the H!P people to end and begin a Momusu medley besides Bon Kyu? It's a classic. Kappa mentioned Ajisai's "YOW" so I was waiting for it. 6:07. It's incredible. So fierce!!

Yay, some solos from other people! (I don't fault E9 for H!P's line division) 6:37 is Aoi, I love her whole "Aishite kudasai na" line!! She's adorable as ever and so spot on fabulous. 7:02 is darling Mizuki, and Kanna's superb 7:13 line is the last solo. You don't get ot hear Nadeshiko, Asagao or Boke solo but they contributed to this a ton and deserve props along with the rest of the girls. I'm really glad I sat down and really gave this a listen. It's spectacular!!

HANA TIME

There is too much I can say about Hana, so I'm going to just jump right into things. For this entry I am going to do a little of everything from their recent releases. I'll probably end up doing this entry now and another one later on, cause I have a lot to catch up on with them. Now, to start things off;

~ Egao 9 ~

Takahashi Ai : Sayuri / Kappa [ xmikipinkux ]
Niigaki Risa : Ajisai [ homeschooledchick16 ]
Kamei Eri : Kanna [ tokidokihaato ]
Tanaka Reina : Suiren [ nephiminechan ]
Michishige Sayumi : Kinsenka [ shockingbuggy ]
Kusumi Koharu : Aoi [ chocolateblakberri ]
Mitsui Aika : Nadeshiko [ giselledesu ]
JunJun : Asagao [ yumeangel29 ]
LinLin : Kiri [ singingondemand ]

Aki Urara / *NEEDS EDITING* / I don't think anyone can make beautiful music with their vocal chords like the Hana girls can. The beginning round of solos are fabulous (Kap, Su, Aji, Kan); goodnessme, I adore this group. On the Jun&Lin solos starting about 0:42 you can really hear the harmonies, & Asagao and Kiri sound flippin' epic with them! I am digging the melody of their parts a ton, and both of'em delivered wonderfully.

The Aoi/Na duets at 0:58 & 1:06 are sensational! I like their "samui wa" a lot. Kinsenka has a solo inbetween them (1:01), her whole solo is pretty smexy, like her "Baby" ~ I really like the melodies in the chorus, oodles and oodles. They're beautiful in a unique and upbeat way...gah, I don't know how to describe them. I adore 1:16 and 1:24, the girls sound awesome together. Kappa (1:20) and Ajisai (1:28) both have solos, which are fantastic! I especially love Aji's "I LOVE YOU Aki urara"

1:56 is more kickbutt A/N, Kin, A/N, and then 2:15 Suiren! Gosh, she's such a great Reina! I know I've ooooed and ahhhhed over how much many of the girls suit their parts before, it's just so cool. Suiren pwns her part and sounds magnificent. Following another epic group line is Kanna (2:27), who totally rocks her solo. More brilliant blending, another awesome solo by Ajisai (2:35), and Kappa finishes the dub off; she's super lovely, though I particularly like her "I LOVE YOU Aki urara" Another delightful release from Egao9!

~ HPD48 ~

Akimoto Sayaka : Akizakura [ babychi ]
Sato Natsuki : Sayuri / Kappa [ xmikipinkux ]
Miyazawa Sae : Tsubaki [ pixienyan ]
Noro Kayo : Hinageshi [ meghitomi ]

Kimi wa Pegasus / I love this ;W; I don't even know what to say. I downloaded this back when I covered Ame no Pianist and fell in love with it instantly. This is so beautiful. Incredible. Exquisite. The beginning chorus is wonderful! Aki starts off (0:26ish), sounding very very pretty. Kappa has the following solo; I like her "kodoku wo" a lot. 0:42 is Tsubaki, frick I love her vocals. She has such a clear, lovely sound and I'm loving her light vibrato. (She also did the harmonies in this song) After her is Hina, who's very sweet.

OMG OMG RABU x 1825620479 kjenfjkj ejfnkn EXPLOSIVE AMAZINGNESS *snifflysnuff of amazement and happiness* The pre-chorus in this dub is so so so so so intensely, dazzlingly, breathtakingly beautiful. The blending defines EPIC. How the hell does Hana accomplish such awesomeness? The first two lines are by Aki and Kappa & the last two by Tsubaki and Hina; the blending and harmonizing is divine.

More chorus at 1:15, and it's just as fantastic as the first time you hear it. The gals are so in sync! Completely together, entirely magnificent and totally spot on. The next set of solos - Hina, Tsubaki, Kappa, Aki- are all splendid! At 2:24 is more crazy insane blendingness, except the two duos switch order in which they sing. The rest of the dub is all lovable chorus. Gosh, this is really really good. Definitely a dub to listen to.

~Hana☆Pro Natsu Matsuri 2010~

Ishikawa Rika : Mizuki [ telenagikinetic ]
Miyoshi Erika : Nadeshiko [ giselledesu ]
Okada Yui : Aoi [ chocolateblakberri ]

Momusu: Kappa, Ajisai, Kanna, Suiren,
Kinsenka, Kiku, Aoi, Akizakura, Chuurippu

Berryz: Himawari, Kiri, Menami,
Botan, Rina, Nadeshiko, Asagao

C-ute: Tsubaki, Ibara, Hinageshi,
Chuurippu, Akizakura, Asagao, Rina

Melon Kinenbi: Satsuki, Momo, Chika, Kinsenka

Refer to the video's drop-down section
for the entire full cast (it's big, lol)

Koisuru Angel Heart / Ohgoodness, this dub makes me emotional, which then makes me feel like a dork for getting emotional LOL It's just so good. It's beyond my vocabulary to put into words how much I love this and how awesome it really is. Mizuki OWNED her part. Like the yelling in the beginning. The first two lines are sung by the Momusu cast (holycrap, they sound amazing together), followed by Kappa at 0:24. I love how this is scripted!! 0:29 is the Berryz cast (more epic blending), followed by Himawari.

0:39ish is the pre-chorus, all by the v-u-den cast, which makes sense with this being their song. Nade and Aoi sing the "I LOVE YOU"s together (which are fabulous) inbetween Mizuki's solos (I adore her energy, she sounds snazztastic). The majority of the "Koisuru ENJERU HAATO" lines in this are by the full cast, and they're one of my favorite parts (like the one at 0:50). The chorus is mainly Mizuki (with the exception of Nade's terrific 1:16 solo) and she rocks it! Her "wo" (1:09ish) is a bit off, but the "Tatta ima" right after it is smashing!! She's got an adorably gorgeous voice.

1:34 is the Melon Kinenbi cast, (they're the smallest group, and a mega marvelous one) followed by Satsuki. 1:45 is the C-ute cast (excellent; the blending in this dub is like chocolate for your ears), followed by Ibara. 1:56 to 2:41 is a repeat of the pre-chorus and chorus, just as sensational the second time as the first. The main difference is that the last solo is by Aoi time (she's so peppy & darling). After the instrumental break it's Nade/Aoi on the first line of the last chorus, and then the rest is the same as before.

I only touched based on the (non v-u-den) solos, cause with so many people I'm trying not to trip over names and have this all make sense, lol. Ka, Hi, Sa, Iba all did a magnificent job!! I love each of their vocals, they all have good energy too! And as for the v-u-den cast, these ladies are spectacular! Overall, every part of this dub is mind blowing and extremely enjoyable. I

Egao 9

Takahashi Ai : Kappa [ xmikipinkux ]
Niigaki Risa : Ajisai [ homeschooledchick17 ]
Kamei Eri : Mandy [ tokidokihaato ]
Tanaka Reina : Palla [ nephiminechan ]
Michishige Sayumi : Buggy [ shockingbuggy ]
Kusumi Koharu : Aoi [ chocolateblakberri ]
Mitsui Aika : Giselle [ giselledesu ]
JunJun : Yume [ yumeangel29 ]
LinLin : Rae [ singingondemand ]

Aruiteru / I know a lot of people don't like Sayumi, and I used to be one of them. She isn't the best singer, she's actually quite pitchy usually. As well as kiddy sounding -worse than young Momo- and she sings short seperatedish syllables. But, in a way...I've been converted LOL Just cause she's so cuuuute. I want to buy her pictures, not download MP3s of her solos.

And so listening to this, even though Buggy is a pinch pitchy, she pwns Sayumi's singing out of the water with her awesome and adorable performance that is like a mega bomb shot from a snazztastic canon of HELLAYEAH to sink Sayu's good ship lollipop. Buggy has fantastic energy and sings with such emotion that you can't help but love hearing her. She gets a kajillion stars for doing her thing (thang? lol) and rocking the boat with her kawaiiness.

Ohmygosh, I LOVE the part when the others jump in. From the cast list I guessed that everyone would be singing at some point, but I didn't expect it when it happened. It was a delightful surprise (1:19) because this group sounds so epic together! The blending is gorgeous, and the fact that it's this song -which is pretty and meaningful (even if repetitive)- turns me to mush.

I really like the way the "Aruiteru" at 1:37 sounds! D'AW togetherness, it's so kekjf kefjnef YAY! The visual for us listeners is Momusu, yes. But we're hearing the amazingness that is Egao 9, which is basically Hana (it just falls under HanaProIndies). Aoi's small solo at 2:18 is spectacular! Roll call; Goddess of kawaii, present! I love her.

Palla is so awesome on Reina's part, if MM wota fanboys knew of her, they'd be all over that smashtasticness, a'chanting her name. It'd be cool if one time, Hana got people to volunteer to be the crowd (wotas galore) so that we can all chant their names all sing-song like in the right places; "la la blah la *KI RI*" or something. Instead of having to hear "SAYUMI" when we're thinking "BUGGY" ~ Anyways!

2:25 is Kappa sounding as fine as ever. I mean that in the way that a guy is like; she is fine! You know, the enlongated accenty first syllable. But in a totally nice 'her voice makes me squee' way, as opposed to 'I dig her and her fine body' ~ I dig Kappa and her fine vocals! Following her we get another solo from Buggy (and it's fabulous) before more sensational group singing. GAH I love it all. Keep singing together forever and ever, gals.

MUUUU

The latest from Egao 9, hosted by xmikipinkux
Also found on HanaProIndies~

Kamei Eri : Mandy (Kanna) [ tokidokihaato ]
Mitsui Aika : Giselle (Nadeshiko) [ giselledesu ]

Haru Beautiful Everyday / Even in a duet, Aika gets shorted lines in favor of Eri. I don't think H!P knows how to make a song with fair lines, tsktsk. But anyways!! As Kappa said on the Hana blog, "We’re currently on the section of the concert filled with small group songs, so individual members are getting more of a chance to shine." - And shine they do! This is a wonderful duet!!

One thing that I really like about Hana concert dubs, that I don't see a lot of other groups do, are the speaking parts! I think it's so cool that they do them! It's cool to hear the girls talking, and like, 10 times out of 10 (lol) they sound incredibly adorable / awesome. Mandy did really good on Eri's small part in the beginning, she sounds super sweet throughout the dub! She sings with great emotion, which is always a plus; it makes the dub more interesting to listen to. She sounds epic on the chorus, the first time, when she has a lot of the lines. Epic!

Giselle has such pretty low notes, her emotion is more subtle but still there. She hits a lot of lovely notes and sings so smoothly, her lines flow. I really like her singing. It's a shame Aika doesn't get a longer solo. The chorus is total love! I adore the "It's so beautiful everyday" lines. These two make a fabulous duo! The blending is so lovely! And I really like how both of them sound on the chorus; it has a nice melody that they do well on. Homg, I love the ending speaking part. FOW.

Takahashi Ai : Kappa (Sayuri) [ xmikipinkux ]
Tanaka Reina : Palla (Suiren) [ nephiminechan ]

Kioku no Meiro / Omg, this song again. LOL, sorry. It's just that I have seen so many dubs of it over the last few weeks. Don't get me wrong - this is totally a cool song, a fantastic duo and a marvelous duet! Kappa starts this off well; she has strong vocals, and most definitely does not suck (MUUUU). I love that when she sings, she sings!! Like, she doesn't hold back, at least that's what I get when I listen to her. I always really feel the energy and emotion from her.

Holycrap, Palla sounds SO much like Reina. Pwsh, let's just get rid of Reina and replace her with Palla, no? Her first solo is epic!! I've always liked the line "dakishimeta yoru" in this song, and she sings it fabulously! She's got an amazing voice and delivers well with it, like, mind blowingly so. Palla's always a delight to listen to. I love the "Ah"s that these two sing at 1:35, they're so good. And a perfect lead into the chorus! Which is spectacular!!

2:35 is super awesome, Palla shines there! And Kappa's following solo is just as rockin' - and then we get both of them together again! This dub is just chock full with pwnageness. I really like how these gals sound together, they nailed their solos, and did a killer job on this song. Props, y'all, props.

Ame no Furanai Hoshi de wa Aisenai Darou? by Egao 9 (hosted by xmikipinkux) / I EFFIN' LOVE THIS SONG, and Chinese ver pwns Japanese ver so badly, for me at least. lol, I'm so lame. I was getting all emotional listening to this (;w;) I think this is a beautiful song, the melody really touches me, and to hear these amazing wonderful lovely ladies sing it made my day.

O M FREAKING G. Rae sounds fantastic, Yume is amazing, the group parts are gorgeous; fqbawfjkfbejkf fkjenwjkfnekfj efkjnejwks !! I can't even put into words how much I love this. When everyone sings together it's beyond beautiful.

Rae and Yume sound brilliant on the Chinese. All of the lyrics in this sound splendid, I love love love the sound of Mandarin words put to music. It's not as easy to sing as Japanese, but I think it sounds magnificent; especially on slower or semi-slower songs when you can really hear the words.

And even if what Kappa says about the harmony being pitchy is a tiny bit true, the pure EPICNESS of this blows minor things like that off into the black hole of it-doesn't-matter. I love Egao 9 to pieces for doing this song. I know it's just cause it's part of the Nine Smile concert, but I'm really happy that they sang it.

Takahashi Ai : Kappa [ xmikipinkux ]

Kamei Eri : Mandy [ tokidokihaato ]
Tanaka Reina : Palla [ nephiminechan ]
Michishige Sayumi : Buggy [ shockingbuggy ]

Genki+ by Egao 9 (hosted by xmikipinkux) / Kappa shared this with me over MSN the other night and I listened to it, but I'll admit I was a little busy at the moment, so I didn't give it the focus it deserves. This is superb!! (ILU KAPPA *clings to CClyrics*) What I love about the beginning of this song is that the first two lines are a trio (Kappa, Giselle, Yume), and on the next two Palla joins the them on the melody and Aoi comes in on the harmony.

The two lines after that are the same girls on their same parts, plus Buggy on the melody and Ajisai joins Aoi on the harmony. See a pattern? It's like a pyramid from the top; it starts out with a few singers and each time more get added! Mandy and Rae come in on the last lines, which is the whole cast all together; six on melody and three on harmony. I love it!!

To simplify things (those underlined have the harmony)

[Ka/Gis/Yu] Yasashii koe ga kikoeru
[Ka/Gis/Yu] Yasashii sono koe ga

[Ka/Pa/Yu/Gis/Aoi] Yasashii koe ga kikoeru
[Ka/Pa/Yu/Gis/Aoi] Yasashii sono koe ga

[Ka/Bu/Pa/Yu/Gis/Aoi/Aji] Yasashii koe ga kikoeru
[Ka/Bu/Pa/Yu/Gis/Aoi/Aji] Yasashii sono koe ga

[Ka/Bu/Ma/Pa/Yu/Gis/Rae/Aoi/Aji] Yasashii koe ga kikoeru
[Ka/Bu/Ma/Pa/Yu/Gis/Rae/Aoi/Aji] Yasashii sono koe ga

I think the most noticable addition is from the 0:23 lines to the 0:30 lines, mainly because it's simply more people singing (from three to five), and it goes from all melody to melody+harmony. Every line sounds epic, these girls are so awesome!! They're in the beginning and the end as well. Geesh, I talked so much about one part of the song, lol.

0:58 to 1:30 is busting with oodles of awesome two- and three-group parts!! Kappa, Giselle, Yume sound so good together! Rae (1:11), Mandy (1:18), and Aoi (1:19) each solo as well. The "Nee genki"s in this dub are fabulous!

The "Mainichi anata ni moraeru yuuki" line at 1:30 is freaking lovely, the "yuuki" is AMAZING, the high notes there blew my mind; so clear and beautiful. I also like the "anata" - I could hear Kappa's energy really well. 1:37, Palla and Aoi really shine in their duet; this is a great melody for their strong pretty voices.

Buggy and Ajisai at 1:44, the end of their line was a little off, but! The first five or six times I listened to this while doing misc things online, I didn't even notice the off "na shunkan." It's not glaringly bad, and really, it's like two seconds. 2 out of the approximately 125 total seconds of singing. These two pwn. & Rae and Mandy has the last line; fkjefjknwefew, they sound great together!

I love the blending and energy in this dub. The rest of the song is just as EPIC as the first half is, but it's super late at night and I've already spent forever on this entry, lame me. I really really adore Egao 9's latest dubs~
