BTW [P1]

Thanks for the comment Purply ;w; And thanks to everyone who supports me! I know I'm not the quickest sometimes *curses work* but I love this blog. Today is already half over, and the camp-out is finally fully done so I'm not busy with that anymore! I'm going to jump right into things so I can attempt to get done as much as I can!!

Lol, BTW actually on a Saturday; GO ME! That's two weekends in a row, which seems a silly thing to be happy about, but I like when stuff works out how I originally plan. Again, this time I am just going off my subs list. If I start trying to backtrack further than what's on it, I'll take too long. So without further rambling, here we go~

Jonghyun: Joanna [funkystar25]
Min Ho: Britt [TwistandSh0ut]
Key: Cherry [cherrysakura16]
Tae min: Charles [Charlesdavid]
Onew: Nixira [shanixira]

*KCJEntertainment ~ Jo Jo by KCJE Collabs / Thank goodness for this website. The writer color codes songs by a lot of Korean groups- I used this site for when I wrote about XOXO's Star Star Star dub. When I started listening to this magnifcent dub, I was sad cause I had no idea who was singing when, because I don't know my SHINee guys. But now with the lyrics, I can figure it out!! Anyways~

The girls have gorgeous voices, and all of these singers sound freaking amazing!! Joanna's "My Heart" + vocalizing at 0:09 and her solo at 0:16 are impressive! I love Cherry, Nixira and Charles on the verses- they're brilliant. Charles is the only guy in the bunch and he's fantastic!! Britt's part at 1:18 is excellent, she also sings the "Hey...Love...Stay"s at the end of the chorus.

And speaking of- the chorus is fiercely awesome!! I really like this song, especially the chorus and these KCJE singers sang it smashingly!! I'm in love with this dub. The group as a whole hits so so so many good notes- in their solos as well as on group lines. Every second of this is superb.

Shuensha; Usagi [BanryuSaint], Ookami [Marianahime]
Kitsune [Miyazuchan], Shika [AnimefreakXDD]
Saru [xmikipinkux], Ushi [MomoxMochi], Uma [Riondrug]

Kyohaku; Inu [NatsujiSen] Niwatori [Yuns217]
Kaeru [Konaneko93], Neko [Diabolicbread]
Kaba [0lollipopz0], Usagi [BanryuSaint]

°S-uta;
Kumo [Amiswami2], Nezumi [Nozomi25], Kuma [Adelutzah03]
Hukurou [xLittleMystery], ChouChou [Breecuppycake]

Taiyou; Tatsu [xXLuvleeMerodiiXx]
Kame [Aznfiregirl], Morumotto [ILA1080]

*Hoshi Project ~ ALL FOR ONE & ONE FOR ALL! / "Hello! Ushi here. For those of you who don't know I was given leadership of HoshiDubs, and this dub was done as a farewell to our original producer, Hoshi-chan! " ~ How sweet! ;w; As many project members as possible particapated and the end result is really pretty.

I like this song a lot, the meaning behind it. It's such a great group song! I have to download this. I'm really proud of Hoshi, and that's just as an outsider, a listener, a fan. Thanks for providing the mp3, it's so worth having. I know I've been being all mushy lately, but when a dub really touches me, I can't help it. I love this.

Cast: (In order of Solo hearance)
Angel, Yuki, Andry

*AtarashiHappyCharm ~ Onna ga Medatte Naze Ikenai by Mirakuru Musume / I love it when projects stray from the original scripting of a song! We all know that the distribution isn't always super fair, and plus it's fun to mix things up. This song was dubbed with only three people, and I think they did a fabulous job! I get confused about who is singing when without lyrics to follow, but these ladies sound very very lovely!

I am loving someone's vibrato, and all of them sing with a good amount of energy. They're marvelous on all parts of the song; the solos + smaller group parts in the verses & pre-chorus, and the group lines + solos in the chorus. I love the "onna ga medatte naze IKENAI" and the "massugu ___ My ___" lines! Overall, this is wonderful~

Mitsui Aika: Chelsea
Nakajima Saki: Michiyo
Kumai Yurina: Kate
Sugaya Risako: Yuki

*MorningFanProject ~ School Days by Cutie 4 / This is so cute! There are some things that could be better, but the girls sound adorable! All of them have great voices, and I'd like to hear them a bit louder & clearer. I know the fuzzy muffled quality is probably due in part to a mic, making it sometimes hard to hear the girls well enough over the music and fuzziness combined.

But it in no way takes away from the loveliness of these gals- I love their singing! This song isn't exactly bursting with upbeatness; it's easy-going and nice & I think the girls sing it with a good amount of energy on their solos and also as a group. They sound marvelous altogether, though the chorus in this isn't my favorite; I prefer them on the verses. Overall, the quality could be better, but the singing is swell.

Ash [ diabolicbread ] *
Fuyumi [ sailorkona ]
Jess [ lilmenchi ]
Molly [ mollyxface ]
Yuns [ yuns217 ]

*KiramekiDubs ~ Onna ni Sachi Are by Gesshoku / CClyrics / DEBUT! Congrats on this group releasing track one of their first single! I sort of knew this was coming, from when I talked to Chiyo about Kirameki; and here it is! Or I should say; here they are- the dazzling gals who make up Gesshoku, and the ones that sang this song for us! Ash took on Rosetta's part in this, and is one of the project's helping-hands.

Jess, Yuns and Ash are all terrifically splendid & Fuyumi and Molly sound really pretty. I totally dig the solos in the verses, but the real win for me is the various duets and trios!! I like the pre-choruses a lot because of them -the blending is delightful- and the chorus is awesome!!

Gesshoku's second track is listed as 'Namida no Iro' and since they do their own scripting, I am really looking forward to it! And just for kicks, Kirameki Shuffles recently released Love Like Candy Floss, so check that out y'all. I'm glad to see that this project is still alive and kickin' cause I like them a lot. If you do too, you should subscribe!

Kirameki

I listened to Ada's Maji Bomber and Molly's Tsubasa wo Kudasai SO MUCH yesterday. I put them on my most recent playlist, but kept on going back to them. Over and over again. I tried to download Malice's Boogie Train, but my internet hated on me. So I shall try to do that today. And I just got the MP3 to Take It Easy from Hello Stage~

BUT YEAH MINI INTERVIEW TIME ! ! !

Lol, it's kind of funny. Because Chiyo used to run Hello Stage and I interviewed her back then. Now Jess runs HS and Chiyo is the leader of Kirameki. I was confused about it all at first (cause I didn't know HS had changed hands) and when I saw Chiyo on MSN I jumped at the chance to get some info.

I've been wanting to do some interviewing lately, so since I had a project leader in conversation already I went ahead and asked. So this whole thing was done over msn, hah. First things first, Chiyo's birthday is coming up! That's where I'll start this (I bolded the main info around within our talking, lol);

AYA: Ohhhh!!!! enwfjkenw Happy Birthday! . . .Okay *clears throat and gets into interviewer mode* I think I've already asked this before, but what does Kirameki mean?

CHIYO: My birthday is the 14th, but I'm giving my party tomorrow, there will be lots of games lol. Anyways; Kirameki is the Japanese word for "glitter, glimmer, sparkle, twinkle, ..." and things along those lines~

AYA: Pretty! I really like your icon on YT. The pink checkerboard + the star seem to suit y'all's name. Did you know from the start how you wanted to do things? Like having the different groups and such?

And how did you get members for the groups? I don't see an audition video, so I am guessing that you maybe asked around? I don't need to ask what the group names mean, cause it's listed on the channel YAY

CHIYO: Yes I knew right away what I wanted to do! I wanted to have groups from like "the same level" - no differences, no different treatments, no specific songs (except for the second single) that they have to sing. . .

There WAS an audition video on for like... 2 weeks or something, but I put it off because I thought it might be better to just ask people around, only 2 or 3 members actually came through the audition.

AYA: Ohh! Yeah I bet it can be hard to get an audition video out and about so that people apply. I think it's awesome that you got so many members! I think I counted 15? And so many talented singers ♥ Have there been any 'bumps in the road' thus far?

CHIYO: You mean like SERIOUS problems? No not at all, I also have like, 3 people who didn't want to join the project, but did want to cover for people if they can't turn in lines, so that isn't a problem. I had to get a few covers so far and currently Chinatsu (Yuuyake) is on a hiatus, but big problems? Nope, not at all ^w^

AYA: I'm glad to hear it! I love covers. Because they are so helpful! You mentioned (earlier) that Gesshoku will be debuting soon, so that's something to look forward to! Y'all seem to have a...middle pace? lol, not fast but not super slow. Gotta plan around all the school and extra stuff, right? Do you think y'all will keep going steadily at your about-a-release-a-week pace?

CHIYO: Well I'm not sure actually. As you said, everybody is busy with school, and like, as you noticed, we try to release something every week (or a bit longer). But soon, when our second singles are finished, we'll be doing our very first concert. I'm not quite sure yet if it's going to be 2010 or 2011, it depends how long the groups take with the second single. But of course I hope to release it in 2010.

AYA: At first I was like 'Oh no, did it work out to about one a week?' So then I checked them all and yes! One release per week in August! Anyways- Concerts are so cool! I fail at keeping up with them all, but I love that the whole project in involved in them.

Did I mention that I love you for CClyrics and MP3 downloads? ;w; They seriously make my life easier and me so crazy happy. AND OMG how do you only have 19 subscribers?! I need to shamelessly plug Kiremeki a bunch or something. I've immensely enjoyed listening to y'all and shall continue to do so!

And.....I think I'm out of questions xD

We went on to talk about the concert more, and then Chiyo shared her lovely Kanashimi Twilight dub with me (I love this song), and then we fangirled over Ajisai of Hana and Risa of Momusu together. And right now I am talking to Ayaka of ShizenPro. I really like their Fly High dub that I just downloaded!!

Takahashi Ai: Caitlin [ bakapai ]
Tanaka Reina: Coco [ coconstorm ]
Shimizu Saki: Reika [ candyraver009 ]
Yajima Maimi: Chiyo [ xchiyochii ]
Maeda Yuuka: Yuns [ yuns217 ]

DESTINY LOVE by Kirameki Shuffles / CClyrics / I like the OPV! It's something different. BAKAPAI! I love this girl. I don't know her super well, but she's always been a sweetheart to me. And I can never ever get enough of her singing! Baka has a solid strong voice that's mature and super lovely. Beautiful really. She opens the dub awesomely!!

Coco is so cuuute!! I love how she really sings out, her emotion is fabulous and she's utterly adorable overall. She's a delight for your ears and I'm happy that she pops up in a lot of the dubs I listen to. The way the song is scripted, you only hear Ai/Reina on the main chorus melody. I like girls the most in the first half of the song, with Baka on the first two lines and Coco on the last two. I really like Bakapai's "ii no ka na"s and Coco's "DESTINY LOVE"s.

Chiyo is kickbutt! I think she's definitely improved -not that she was ever bad- she just sounds better and better every time I hear her. She seems to have more control over her voice now. Her 0:42 solo is wonderful, and her rap part towards the end is terrific, but I like her the most at 1:55! I love her on "atta kedo" ~ You hear Yuns so little in this, because of how H!P divved up solos. But what you do hear is fantastic and very kawaii! She pwned her solos.

For some reason, Reika's voice coming Saki looks so real *o* When it shows the live performance, the timing lines up perfectly! And Reika's emotion + Saki's expressions is epic. What I mean to say is that Reika totally rocks!!- with and without the visual of the OPV. My favorite from her is at 2:48! She's awesome on the rap part!! I especially love "ai de tsutsumitai Saiai no hanryo" solo+duet line that Chiyo partakes in.

--Overall I really love this!! The girls did a marvelous job! Kirameki released new dub recently, but I chose DESTINY LOVE over Hoshikuzu's Shouganai Yume Oibito because I honestly didn't want to write about Shou again, lol. And also cause I've been listening to this dub for a while since I have the mp3. But just for kicks, here y'all are;

Aya's Playlists / Misc Stuff

This is going to be my 'stuff I listen to a lot' entry, while I wait for my lame slow internet to load some more videos. I have a several playlists of dubs- when one gets too full I make a new one. I'm going to go through them and pick out the ones I've listened to a lot lately.

These aren't in any certain order, just random. I realize that many of these are featured on the right-hand side, but I wanted to include them in this anyways. They deserve some more plugging, so they're getting it. I won't list all the Femme Fatale dubs (lol) but I listen to those a ton as well.

Asu e no Kizuna by animezirow / I don't remember how I first discovered Sherry, but I know she's been in a few of my BTW solo version entries. A while ago I downloaded an album she put together of about ten dubs, zip file format making for an easy dl. I really like it, but lately I've been listening to this cover quite a bit.

I forgot how much I enjoyed it until I randomly was going through my dub mp3s looking for stuff I hadn't listened to in a while. Sherry is a wonderful singer that I suggest y'all give a listen to. She's in a few dubbing groups that I have yet to really look at, but you can check out her profile for links. This cover is marvelous~

Takahashi Ai: Sayuri [ xmikipinkux ]
Niigaki Risa: Ajisai [ homeschooledchick16 ]
Kamei Eri: Kanna [ tokidokihaato ]
Tanaka Reina: Suiren [ nephiminechan ]
Michishige Sayumi: Kinsenka [ shockingbuggy ]
Kusumi Koharu: Aoi [ chocolateblakberri ]
Mitsui Aika: Nadeshiko [ giselledesu ]
JunJun: Asagao [ yumeangel29 ]
LinLin: Kiri [ singingondemand ]

Aki Urara by Egao 9 (HanaProIndies) / Out of nowhere one day I was like "I LOVE YOU Aki urara" and that made me wonder if I had the mp3 for that dub, so I looked it up and it turned out I didn't! I downloaded it ASAP and have been listening to it lately. Before this Genki+ was a popular listen with me. E9 has a whole bunch of sensational dubs- there is some good stuff to be found on the Indies channel for Hana.

Star Star Star by X♡X♡ / I play the shit out of this dub. I can listen to it over and over and over again. It's exquisite. A masterpiece. I flat out love it. I was going to ask for the download, but then I got off my lazy butt after I realized that Liana probably made a thread in the yoproject forums for it. I struck luck, because not only did I find the mp3 for this dub, but also for X♡X♡'s Genie and Oh! - I downloaded all three and merged them with my Femme Fatale playlist, to make one smashing playlist of SNSD dubs.

Starduster by LovablexKarupin / I love Karu's singing. Or Ju-chan, as her girlfriend calls her in the video's drop-down section (aww). I hear her in a good amount of groupdubs from various projects and always drink her voice in greedily. Solos are even better in a way, because you get to hear her oodles and oodles! A lot of time when I hear her I think OMG CUTE JKFNJKF! So I really liked getting to hear her on something slow like this, where she really shines and sounds so pretty!

Chinatsu [ fandubzrmylife ]
Coco [ coconstorm ]
Kiro [ iaukiro ]
Nina [ animexlover28kat ]
Reika [ candyraver009 ]

Namida ga Tomaranai Houkago by Yuuyake (KiramekiDubs) / I've listened to this like, a dozen+ times today. The chorus' are nice, but I really enjoy the solos during the verses and pre-chorus. These girls sound so lovely and sweet, and them singing this song is very relaxing.

I'm really glad I downloaded this and it's mainly thanks to Chiyo! She fed me mp3s via MSN and though at the time I wasn't very attentive, I did finally sit down and listen to what she sent me. Kirameki has sounded like a promising dubbing group thus far, and I'll be glad to write more about them in the future! P.S- Their DESTINY LOVE dub is really good too.

Ogura Yui: Amaranth [faraBANG]
Ishihara Kaori: Amber [bibblebobble629]

Our Steady Boy by AmaBer (IroKokoro) / This is so adorable!! I love that these two dueted together! It took a few times for the song to grow on me, but I couldn't resist the cuteness that is AmaBer. I wonder if this was a one time thing, or if these subleaders will sing together again? Even if they don't, I can always listen to this wonderful dub whenever I want and there is lots of other stuff by IKP. I'm still addicted to Abracadabra and recently Sign. But if you're in the mood for something cute, this is for you!

Umeda Erika: Sayuri / Kappa [ xmikipinkux ]
Arihara Kanna: Aoi [ chocolateblakberri ]

Tsuugaku Vector by Gangsta Boo (HanaProIndies) / Yay! I love this dub! The song is really catchy, I adore the melodies. I love Aoi to pieces and this is one of my fave -smaller cast- dubs (off the top of my head at least) that Kappa's been in. The chorus is awesome, and all of the solos sound superb! There is a download link, so if you like it, get the mp3!

It's back on the first dub playlist I made, second from the top- over about the past week and a half I've taken to playing it more often, cause I like it so much. I believe this is the only duet they've done together (if there is another, somebody let me know!) and I'd love to hear them together again!

Eyes On Me by ChiiAyu / I think everyone likes something like Final Fantasy deep down. Maybe you mainly like the music, or you like the storylines and characters. You love to play or read fanfiction about it. Whatever whichever. I like a lot of the songs used in video games as well as some animes but I don't really play or watch.

This is a really pretty song and I loved Ayuchan's version of it so much I pleaded for a mp3. This is part of her Niji iro Kanji Video Collection in celebration of her first dubbing anniversary. I'm a bit behind on the latest parts she's released, but I will catch up! I've been stuck on this cover lately, because it's beautiful. Y'all should check out all of the parts done so far, cause Karen is a terrific singer/dancer.

Kamei Eri: Katie & Serenyty
Mitsui Aika: Yumiko
Kumai Yurina: Hinaki
Okai Chisato: Ameimi

Oujisama to Yuki no Yoru
by Totally Up! Project / This is sweet, cute and lovely all mixed together- I love the differences in vocals. Each girl is unique and delightful to listen to in her own way. I like the song a lot, maybe not the "lonely love"s so much (if that's what they're saying and that's the song though, not the singers). The solos and chorus are splendid! I really like this a lot, it's lovely! It's the 10th track in TU!'s current concert, y'all should look into it if you haven't yet.

TANE: Boo-chan, Nozo and Boss
GuruGuru JUMP: Nichan, Nikki and Nozo

MottoImouto Summer Shuffle 2010! Part One / I've always loved the song Tane so I mini-freaked when I saw that it was the first song. And I've come to really like GURU because of this dub. Thanks to Malice and Boss for sending me stuff by MI. I go around singing "owatta koi dake ga TANE ni naru" and "Nee nee hora" etc & "OH DAARIN Motto motto motto GURUGURU Datte datte datte GURUGURU" lol. I love it.

This two-tracked mp3 (or video, depending) is kickbutt. I love both dubs and all of the singers. This was at the top of my most recent playlist, but it's been bumped down to second by Sign. I listen to it quite a bit because it's fun and I always want to sing along. Is part two out yet? idk, I'll have to look!! Thanks again to Malice for the mp3!

Saying I Love You by / I love Suzumi so much for giving me the download for this. I'd never talked to her or anything, she could have been wary and told me no. But she was flattered and said yes, thus making me very happy! I read something on a dubber's profile not too long ago that said something about how you shouldn't tell people they're good if they aren't. That it isn't nice to encourage them and build up their hopes.

I think that's true to a certain degree. If you're wanting to become a serious performer or recording artist, then yes, you've got to be good. But even though the world of dubbing can be dramatic because some people make it so, I think the majority of people are in it for the fun of it. And so when I listen to dubs, it's for my pure enjoyment and I understand that the humans singing aren't going to be perfect all the time. Small errors are no big deal.

This isn't the most incredible cover ever and I'd never heard Suzumi prior to this. But I fell in love with this after a few listens and I play the mp3 constantly. There are some iffy parts and even one spot that is pretty pitchy. But I "pfftpwsh" it and just enjoy the cover as a whole. I shall keep encouraging dubbers to sing if it's what makes them happy, and derive as much pleasure as I can from the experience of listening, interacting and blogging.

KD

"KiramekiDubs is an online singing group that covers J-Pop. Currently we only dub Hello! Project, though we hope to sing different kinds of J-Pop soon....Kirameki has 3 main groups: Gesshoku (lunar eclipse), Hoshikuzu (stardust), Yuuyake (sunset)."

There are currently 15 members, evenly spilt between the groups. Only one of the three has debuted (Yuuyake) and has thus far released two dubs. There has also been a single from Kirameki Shuffles. I have all three dubs on one of my playlists, because Chiyo (xchiyochii) has been providing me with the MP3s! It was her polite inquiry that got me to really look at this project.

So without further rambling~

Chinatsu [ fandubzrmylife ]
Coco [ coconstorm ]
Kiro [ iaukiro ]
Nina [ animexlover28kat ]
Reika [ candyraver009 ]

Namida ga Tomaranai Houkago by Yuuyake / CClyrics / Oh the dears, putting lyrics in the drop-down section! Such simple melodies, yet such a lovely sounding dub! The singers in this really delight your ears with the splendid job they did on this song! It can probably be easy sometimes to sound bored on a song with a slow beat and little backing music. Plus you've got to keep time well. Mistakes are more noticable, and so are differences in volumes.

These ladies have nothing to worry about. 'Bored' is a word that doesn't even cross a listener's mind- this dub is full of gentle sweet emotion and you can tell the girls really enjoyed themselves. The blending is beautiful, everyone sings on time and no one girl is too loud in the group parts. Each and every solo is enchanting and well sung. And I'm no mixing master, but everything sounds great to me.

I don't even know where to begin! I think I am going to go girl by girl, starting with Reika! She has a solo in three of the five sets of chorus lines (including the first solo of the dub), and I love her on the melody! She sings it awesomely and sounds so so pretty+cute. Besides her chorus solos, I really like her at 1:53. I love that she's confident and sings out at a good volume with lots of emotion.

Coco has a clear and kawaii sound that's exceedingly pleasant to listen to; she's irresistible! She delivers her lines fantastically throughout the dub! Though I totally adore her at 0:49! I love her "zou no oto" and "hazui kara" ~ her higher notes are excellent and cute. Chinatsu is the only one who doesn't get a longer solo, but what she does sing is terrific! She has a mature yet gentle voice that sounds lovely! I love her "ROMIO to JURIETTO" at 1:49, and I also really like her "desu" in her 0:36 solo.

Nina is a quiet; she does have a soft voice, but I'd like to hear her sing out a little louder. I think I like her first solo the most ("shiawase ga sugiru kara") but it's a tough call, cause I also like her "anata to aruiteru" at 0:45 a lot. She sings with a very subtle energy, because of her quiet volume, but it is there. 2:02 is her longer solo and it's marvelous; I'm happy to hear her a little stronger on her first line, especially "mou sugu aeru"

And last but not least, Kiro. I like her unique voice- a mix of mature, cute and pure her. I had a bit of a tough time picking my favorite from her as well, but I think it's got to be her longer 0:58 solo. I find her "PA tto tsukutta" adorably charming and I also like her ending "wa" ~ But all the rest of her lines are fabulous as well, like the one at 0:40, of which I like her "chikaku de" a lot.

As I mentioned before, all of the group parts are so good!! The blending is brilliant and I really love how the girls sound together. They should all be proud of this first release for their unit as well as for their project! I would love to continue by writing about Yuuyake's Kokuhaku no Funsui Hiroba dub and Kirameki Shuffle's DESTINY LOVE, but it's late.

---I have another K entry I want to do badly, but it can wait until tomorrow. My right shoulder gives me a lot of problems when I'm online for long periods of time in a day, and since I usually work I'm on half the amount of time I've been on lately with all this free time on my hands, lol. That and I sprained my left wrist or something, cause it's been bothering me today. So bed time for me. ILY'ALL!
