I've blogged about the medleys by TU!P and Kirei na Pro, but have yet to write about the others. So I'd like to focus this entry on track four of the concert;

~Oh goodness this is so lovely! I don't think I've ever heard this song before, so it's something new for me. Mikitty's vocalizing throughout the song is really good, and all of her solo lines are brilliant! Hanna sounds very pretty, darn cute too! A wonderful combination of the two that is a delight to the ears, and completely enchanting.

Lolii's mature voice reminds me of Martha a bit, but she's marvelous in her own way. I would have liked to have heard her a bit more, but it's how the concert version was scripted. Props to her on doing the harmonies! There are oodles of great solos in this, and the group-sung "Da Ra Da Ra Da Du Du"s are awesome! This is a really sweet and beautiful, I love it.

~ I love the "PA PA YA"s in this! They're just short little add-ins between lines really, but they're fun. Ameimii & Ai rocked their lines! I love Ai's energy and mature vocals, and Ameimii has a softness to her splendid singing that's darling. I like Mikitty in this as well, but since I've already talked about her once, I'll just keep it brief; she sings excellently and sounds very lovely!!

I like the "CLAP YOUR HANDS" etc parts in this! All of the girls deliver wonderfully, with emotion and at a good volume. They're tremendous on the verse, but I especially love them on the chorus! Their solos are kickbutt, and the trio lines are SO GOOD. They blend magically on the "nani mo iwanaide"s! They are definitely my fave part I think.

~The opening lines in this are fantastic! At first I forgot that this was going to be the concert version of this song, therefore shortened. When it jumped from the beginning to about halfway through, I was confused then went OH, lol. I love the melody of the chorus, the "shiawase ni naritai" etc and P♥T sings it outstandingly! Lots of fabulous blending going on!

There aren't a lot of solos in this portion of the medley, mainly a lot of groups and full-cast lines. You do get to hear each girl solo once though; Hikki (6:09), Rixie (6:16), Jko (6:46), Mitsuki (7:02), Micchy (7:11). They are all magnificent!! The "GO GO GO GO"s really pack a punch, and though I've cared for this song a lot, I think the "...A BEAUTIFUL STAR"s rock! Pinky Team deserves their place in the NIM Concert.

TU!P

I've been meaning to write about TU!P for a bit now, and it's just been pushed aside while I got to other things. But I've had all my info and windows open since last night for this entry! I'm doing it now!!

Goodness me, where to start?! I will always love Star!U's dub of Nobody, because it is fabulous! I haven't listened to everything by them, but of what I have it's probably my favorite! The group has released quite a few other wonderful dubs, all Korean. In August the group opened their own YT channel, StaruTUP. There I read something exciting!

"We are looking for 1-2 new members in October during the Star!U GOTTA KICK IT UP! 3(rd Gen) Auditions hosted by Totally Up! Project. It will run from October 1-31 and results will be announced on November 3." -- Yay! October is turning out to be a promising month! All this Star!U talk is leading up to this;

Into the New World by Star!U of Totally Up! Project / Ohgolly I had a huge LOL moment. I have a playlist that turned into a SNSDlist, which has Femme Fatale, XOXO, and now Star!U. There are two dubs of this song, one at the beginning and one at the end. So if I have it on repeat I end up hearing one right after the other. Oops.

While waiting for this video to load, I played the mp3 I downloaded days ago- except after one play through I was going to play it again, but somehow forgot and it went on to Femme Fatale's version. And when I was looking at the CClyrics I kept playing the solos in the dub over and over, because the line that said it was Kappa, didn't sound like her. WELL DUH AYA! Cause it wasn't Kappa. Sadly, it took me a little while to figure out exactly what happened.

ANYWAYS, back to the Star!U dub; it's sensational!! I love this song to pieces, so when I glanced at the TU!P profile and saw it was one of the recent releases, I was super happy. The group parts are SO good ;w; So pretty, and blendy and strong and pretty! Totally my favorite part of this! All of the girls did an outstanding job on their solos too!! But the chorus touches me. Such a lovely melody sung so well by these gorgeous-sounding ladies. Star!U should be proud of their hard work and talent~

Other recent releases include the above solos, Kataomoi no Owari ni by Katie (left), and Natsu Doki Lipstick by Hitomi (right) who is a featured soloist on the blog right now! OH WOW, I was just re-browning TU!P's channel and noticed that they have a blog! It's been open since July of this year!

I think blogs are SUCH a good idea for projects. It really helps listeners and fans keep on top of the news, and there are so many fun things you can do! Such as Inside the Project, which is "a segment where we ask members from Totally Up! Project questions and they answer them. It gives others more insight into the fun natures of our members." TU!P's blog is very pretty! And pretty active.

One thing that caught my attention was actually at the bottom of the page, in the farthest down entry; mention of Ikenokoi / AkaAnzu. I wrote a whole entry on this kid (it took me forever forever to find it though, because I fail). And he is not someone you want to make yourself vulnerable to.


I haven't really been on top of concerts lately, heh. It's just another thing I need to catch up on. But while I'm already blogging about TU!P, I wanted to share the latest track from their ongoing concert! And something else too! But first;

Suki Sugite Baka Mitai by Totally Up! Project 2010 Summer / On the PV first; I love the Momo, Reina, Megumi and Maimi version of this a lot. BUT I love that this version has Maasa and Sayumi and Maimi!! Reina is okay, but she's miss popular. I love that the other girls got to sing this song!

I adore this song to death, so this group get lots of love for song choice. It does call for a lot of energy, and I think the amount this is sung with is pretty good. I really love Zoey and Molly, but all of the girls -definitely Angeru and Jadie as well- did a splendid job! I love the choruses!

Nine Smile~ Medley / Another project recently did this medley as well, not as part of HPAS Interdubbing, but it's still funky listening to the same medley so soon again. But I don't mind in the least, because this is rockin' and I admire the work that these girls put into this dub. I know a lot of projects felt very happy + special to be apart of this concert, and TU!P definitely deserves it!

Michelle's "Come On" is darling! The beginning is upbeat and fantastic, and a short but great start! I love the second part of the medley so much!!! Eva and Aly 's solos are excellent & lovely! All the girls really brought it in the chorus, they sound spectacular! They also totally pwned the verses, delivered the song with lots of energy, and the "Please Be Freedoms" are awesome!

The first part of HAND MADE CITY could have used a little bit more attitude, but it's still really good- Katie and Yumiko did a magnificent job on the solos and I think the girls' echos are adorable. I love love love the second part of the song ;w; The melody is insanely pretty and everyone sounds exceedingly pretty together; it makes me mushy-smiley! The blending is so good.

Oh goodness, I love this group on Morning Curry!! They sing it with oodles of energy! All of the smaller groups parts are smashing!! The girls sound beyond amazing on every line! I am failing at using a good enough vocab to really say how wonderful they sound. Molly and Aly 's "Mooningu karee"s could maybe have used a tiny bit more growl but they still pack a punch! And Purply's "Ironna karee aru ga" at 4:43 is fabulous!!

I love the chorus in this part of the medley!! The gorgeous various group parts makes this dub the level of win that it is. Then it's more BON KYU to bring this to an end. It's such a fun, cute song and I love how the TU!P gals sound on it! All of the solos are sensational!! Hinaki is so sweet at 6:35, And Danica's following "Aishite kudasai na" is terrific!

Overall this is a really enjoyable listen!! All of the girls -those with and without solos- contributed to this greatly and they're the reason this is so epic!! Thank you to TU!P and HPAS for bringing this medley to us; keep on being awesome!

Okay I've been lazy today *shot* I slept a lot this morning. And yesterday after I got home from work, I ended up skipping dinner and going to bed. I rob myself of rest more than I should sometimes, so I shall forgive myself for being lazy this time. Moving right into things, I interviewed again!

I've been doing a lot of it lately as a way of trying to get to know more about projects and have better contact with them. I am going to try to get around to everyone, but if you'd like to beat me in PMing you, you can PM me if you're interested in being interviewed! I talked to Saya, leader of Kirei na Project. (Again, I bolded the main questions amidst my talking)

AYA: Your profile is pretty informative! Kirei na Project means 'Beautiful Project' and y'all focus mainly on the smaller / less known H!P units, while still including the main groups. And sing "songs that aren't covered as much by fandub groups, because there are a lot of awesome songs that no one covers often."

Awesome!! I agree that there are SO many that are overlooked in favor of popular A-sides from main groups. Whose idea was it for Kireina to run this way? Was the project planned this way from the start, or were ideas thrown around a bit beforehand?

SAYA: Well, actually this project started on my personal account and was just meant to dub Buono!, Athena & Robikerottsu, and Guardians 4, but then I started thinking I wanted to dub groups such as Tanpopo or Mini Moni as well because no one ever does their songs!

So once I made the official project account, then I decided that this project should aim to do the other under-dubbed songs as well from all the H!P groups. I also want to do AKB side groups and other Japanese artist's such as Tokyo Girl's Style or Idoling!!! too!

AYA: There are so many under-dubbed songs out there and all of us H!P fans have our favorites -popular and non- Do you take requests from your members? And because the songs you pick aren't always A-sides, do you have trouble finding good intrumentals / video footage to work with?

SAYA: I have the eggs vote on which singles they want to do now, but with the other groups I usually just pick a song that goes with the season, or that I think everyone will sound good in. I haven't really gotten requests to do songs, or at least that I remember!

It is hard to find video footage for older songs, but most songs have a concert version so I just rip them off YT. Oh, I get so impatient with making instrumentals sometimes, but I've gotten better at it since I first started, so it's getting easier.

AYA: Aloha! ~Summer~ 2010! That is your on-going super mini 5-part concert, of which three tracks have been released. And it's your first concert! How has that been going for y'all? I love the C-ute concert you've been dubbing!! I don't really know any of the songs, so it was new & fun for me to listen to them. Have you thought about doing a winter or spring concert as well?

SAYA: Thanks! I've been really bad about mixing lately because of school, so I have to get those last two tracks mixed soon! I plan to have a full winter concert with 15 or so tracks in November-January with a mix of songs from all the current H!P artists.

AYA: School, the enemy of time! It's been keeping a lot of dubbers busy lately. Has it caused any lasting changes in KnP? I think I counted 18 members making up the current 3 Generations. Auditions and graduations are happening a lot lately- do you think Kireina will be doing either anytime soon?

SAYA: Darn school XP Well, over the summer 1 girl graduated due to work, but all the other recent graduations we have had are mostly due to inactivity, and I had to take them out of the project. I don't plan to hold auditions anytime soon, but if enough people graduate (around 3-5) then that is when I will hold auditions again.

AYA: Y'all recently hit the 100 subscriber milestone; congrats!! I think I've asked all I can come up with at the moment. Is there anything that you'd like to add or any questions you have for me?

SAYA: Hmmm.....I can't think of any at the moment. Thanks for asking me to do this interview! Oh, if you haven't seen the egg single yet, it just got removed from YT, so I'll have to re-upload it unlisted. Here's a link to the mp3.

Kirei na has definitely lived up to be exactly what they are described as on their profile! There are some more popular releases found under their 'Uploads' section- such as Bravo Bravo + a few other Buono A-sides, and the most recent dub of ONLY YOU by subunit Ajisai. But as I look through the song titles I don't know many of them, and a good deal of them aren't dubbed very often.

Take for example the two videos above; Passion E-CHA E-CHA is an adorable Berryz song!! I love that Maiha was still around for it, and I always thought Saki was especially cute in it. The BK girls have a lot of really good B-sides from their early days, so I am always really happy when I see them picked for dubs. Yay Shiawase Clover!

And lately I've become even more in love with Ice Creamusume. I think Mandarin is a gorgeous language, and hearing it sung makes me ridiculously happy. I remembered when KnP's dub of Debut!~Koi Suru Kado ni wa Fuku Kitaru came out, so I went back and listened; it's really cute!

They've dubbed a lot by Minimoni, and all four of Athena & Robikerottsu's songs; I really like their cover of Yuugure☆Sherbert! And as I mentioned in the interview, Kirei na's current concert has thus far been stuff originally by C-ute. I'd never heard any of the songs before (at least I think not) and the concert that the project chose to do seems to be small, less-known, less-dubbed but totally fun!

KnP has made sure not to forget other H!P groups and have sung at least one song by Tanpopo, Momusu, ZYX, v-u-den, Berryz, and Guardians4 ~ plus a few girls have had solos released including the songs; Koi Hanabi, Hajimete no Keiken, Seishun Song, The Bigaku, and Dokkidoki! LOVE Mail. OH I've been going through listening to some dubs, and I think Kirei na's dub of Momoiro no Kataomoi is adorable!

"I've never realized how Piriri and Sukiyaki were so similar, and I guess Tsunku didn't until at some point he noticed he could put them into the same medley" ~ Renna's right, they are pretty similar! It's about time I got around to one of these, geesh.

Sukiyaki / CUTE CUTE CUTE!! Ohmygoodness, this is so incredibly kawaii! I've heard this song maybe once before and though I don't love it or anything, these girls sound freaking adorable while singing it! I love the "MADA KA MADA KA AIYA IYA IYA IYA" etc parts inbetween the lines in the verses!!

The solos are wonderful, well delivered, clear and cute throughout the dub! They're by Reika (0:31), Mieko (0:37), Rii (0:44), Saya (1:14), and Juri (1:20). Yumi is in the CClyrics but not the dub, so I'm assuming she couldn't participate. The smaller groups that sing together at 0:57 and 1:40 are fabulous- I really like the singers on the melody there.

And then after some great "Ya sou sou Na DJ Ya sou sou Na DJ"s we have. . .

Piriri to Yukou / I love how the duets in the verse turned out!! The girls blend smashingly in this whole dub and you can really hear it in both songs, but I think the duets totally catch your attention in this. Kimiko, Lily and Ami don't have any solos, but they sing in many of the various smaller group parts and contribute to the overall sound on the full-cast lines.

The pre-chorus sounds utterly fantastic!! And the chorus is so fun & AW worthy! It makes me smile and feel giddy and wanna dance! The melody is so freaking catchy and this group of gals is terrific on it! I really like that this song was part of the medley, I bet Kirei na had a blast singing it. The overall energy on both songs is awesome!!

2010 Natsu Interdubbing Medley Concert

ATTENTION!

I must interrupt the plans in my head for the next few entries to write this entry. I fell in love with Renna's singing the moment I discovered her through yoproject forums via hearing her Ame no Fu etc dub. Then I learned that she's an amazing mixer and a hard worker who puts together her own ideas and projects as well as helps out other people. After a friendly nudge from Liana I looked into HelloProjectAllStars -run by Renna- and was impressed with her work there, and shortly thereafter, fell in love with Femme Fatale.

Then a little but ago, Renna told me about this next project she was working on. I haven't talked to her since, so I don't really know any of the ins and outs (and no one that would know is on MSN *shot*), but I shall stumble through this entry anyways!! I'm sure she's had some help from the participating leaders, and overall many people worked -individually and together- to make the following possible, and thus it is born!!

Fall 2009 ~Nine Smile~ Medley

"The songs are coming out in (hopefully) the same order listed in the menu. In the case where a group still has not turned in their files, the next available video will be uploaded!" I am guessing that since this is the first track to be released but the second track in the concert, the first track is not ready yet.

I have no CClyrics, I'm not positive the castlist is completely correct, and I don't know all the songs used in the medley. I'd like to get a bit more info before I write about this, but I thought I'd share with y'all since it's out! I really like the "Please be Freedom" part of this! Have a listen and enjoy!
