There's sooooo much I wanna blog about ;w; Honki Project has come out with so much since I last blogged about them. So I'm going to give you a few dubs, by Ohayou Musume~

Kamei Eri : Ayuna [AyunaDaisuki]
Michishige Sayumi : Mystery [xLittleMystery]
Tanaka Reina : Mai [dblingchiu]
Kusumi Koharu : Dee [cinnabun101]
Mitsui Aika : Kuri [KuriDesu27]
Jun Jun : Hanna [yascun94]
Lin Lin : NCK [NCKamo]
Mikan / Released July 16, 2010 / The minute I started loading, I already had the melody of this song in my head, cause it's so freaking catchy. Overall this turned out nicely. The energy level is good, but I think the amount of umph! could be better. There were a few times when some people sang their lines a little off time, but nothing real off.
The group parts are the best part!! I adore the blending- this cast sounds so nice together! The volumes sound great to me, no one stuck out and no part of the dub is too loud. My favorite part is the chorus; raburabu. Without a doubt, this is a very cute dub!! A few things could use a little work, but those aside, this is splendid.
Naichau Kamo / July 05, 2010 / Goodness do I love this song. Though sadly Ai & Reina dominate, solo wise. The verses are marvelous, Mai and Natsumi did a good job on their parts. Though she only has two solos, I like Mystery in this (like at 0:47). You do get to hear Usagii at 3:01 & also Ayuna around 0:47, she's sweet+fantastic!!
As for the rest of the girls (De, Ku, Ha, N), they all participate in the various duets, trios, and other group parts & contribute to the overall sound of the dub- which is fabulous! Again, the chorus is the win part of this for me. I like hearing people sing together, plus the melody rocks! Many of the high notes throughout are strained, but I give the gals props for giving'em a go.
I love the "Aa anata"s in this. My favorite parts, hands down, are the group parts during the chorus. The two groups are; Na/Us/My/De/Ha and Ay/My/Ma/Ku/N. Song choice does play a small part in how much I get into a dub, I adore this song, but it's more than that, this group did a nice job on Naichau Kamo~
Shouganai Yume Oibito / Released July 31, 2010 / Misaki is covering for Kuri in this dub, and she's so quiet! But props to her for covering and helping out, even though she's new to singing in Japanese. I really like Ma/De's duet lines, they sound terrific together!! The Ha/N duets are quite pitchy, and in true Momusu fashion, there are no Jun or Lin solos. I think this song suits Natsumi, I like her a lot on the melodies in this (like 0:40 & 1:23).
Us, My, & Ma get a few solos each, and they all sound wonderful. Ayuna commented on how she's hard to hear, and I agree that she is a little on the quiet side, volume wise. But threatening to leave, in public? That seems like a PM convo to me, not something to be discussed in comments. Even so, I like her a lot. She has a very pretty voice; both her solos are good, though I especially like her at 3:01.
The high notes are pretty swell in this! Though I'd like a little bit more energy overall -a stronger delivery from some- Aside from that and volumes that could use some tweaking, this is lovely. Mixing is a learning process. And as for dubbing, practice brings progress. It's all about enjoyment.
Osaka Koi no Uta / Released July 08, 2010 / CClyrics / I love this song. I know I say that about a lot of songs, but really, it's an awesome song. And I actually really like the PV for it. As far as this dub goes though, it needs a lot more energy!! There aren't any group parts, it's all solos, and the majority of them are lacking in umph! The girls have pretty good emotion, but nothing to back it. Nothing sounds bad, but with more energy this would be much more fun to listen to.
