My internet is deciding to be slow right now, grr. When I don't have oodles of time. I'm going to a baby shower in a few hours, and then when we get back my grandma will be visiting, staying for dinner and a movie too. So I don't know how much time I'll have on today. But I should have this evening after dinner free~

Iiwake Maybe by SKI48 / My awesome daughter-in-law (lol LaiLai) asked me to check this out last night right before bed, so I promised to do so first thing when I got on. She didn't know this, but I'm pretty sure that Iiwake Maybe was the first AKB song I ever heard and downloaded. It was on my MP3 player way before I learned anything about the awesome girl-group. So hearing these gals sing this is very cool for me. Not my fave from AKB, but I adore this song to pieces.
LaiLai worked very hard on mixing this and I think she did a fabulous job! Much like Hikki said about herself, I too am very unknowledgeable about mixing so I can't say that my thinking it's good means much; but Kappa said she liked it, Buggy too. So Lai must have done a lot of somethings right!
"Sekai 48, formed by a few HanaPro members and some stalkers" LOL I love Lai. This is a great cast, and everyone sounds awesome! There is some pitchiness throughout the dub, but it's not that bad. You don't really get to hear anyone by themselves, since this song is all duet/trio/group parts. The duets are where you can pick the girls out the easiest; some blended together better than others, but they are all good. I love the little echo duets~
The chorus is marvelous, and I really like 2:57. I've always adored that part of the song, those sweet higher notes and the melody. Rae, Saya, & Buggy have the first few line and I love the way they sound together. Aoi, Lai, Michi, & Kappa follow, sounding just as wonderful. I downloaded this last night so I could listen to it while pulling up all the pages, and getting into my blogging groove. Totally a keeper.
