AK, OK?

I love dubbing. It's so epic. And I'm so glad that I've now got SnM, Kaori Basket and Asian Karaoke to explore and listen to! Thanks again to Jess! And also thank you to Kristy for sharing her wonderful forum with me. Oh my gosh, where to start?!

I don't really know anything about AK, and I couldn't find any kind of 'About Us' sort of page/thread. They do have a Master List of members, and though I don't have an exact number- let's just say that there are well over 100 listed.

I love that box.net is the host of choice, cause I love the preview feature! The majority of releases from AK have more than one team putting out a dub of the same song at the same time. Kind of AKB-like, with the teams. But yeah, my computer isn't always the fastest when it comes to downloading, so it's great that I can listen to all the versions and then download whichever one afterwards.

I've looked around a little bit, but the place I ended up in is the Personal Project's section. I'm so excited at the amount of Kpop I've seen!! I'll do some more exploring later, and maybe ask Kristy some questions, but for now I'm going to dive right into share time!


Team 1 / Team 2 / Team 3 (MP3 Downloads) / As the image above says so colorfully, it's the Seoul song. It's so freaking catchy! "S-E-O-U-L" - I previewed the three version, and all of them were fabulous! Some parts I liked more in one dub than the other, but overall everyone of these lovely people did a great job!

I downloaded Team 1's version cause it just rang my bell. I'm sure other people may have liked another version better; it's not a contest. You can see all of the different cast lists in the release's thread. I'd be a dead fishy if I commented on every single team every time I covered a single. So I hope no one is offended. Y'all are all fantastic!

I know I've been saying it a lot lately, but I can't help it; I love this dub!! kjfnebfwbfewf. So many amazing voices! I heard some kick-butt solos, and the group parts were splendid. This dub is like cherry confetti cake for my ears! If they could eat, I'd be spooning it in.


Team I Miss You / Team I Need You (MP3 Downloads) / A million points for song choice!! I LOVE this song. I'm not a big fan of After School's other music, but this song won by heart the first time I heard it. I adore the raps, and the different melodies. It's epic!!

As for the dubs; it was really hard for me to choose between the teams. I really really liked IMY's beginning, it so soooo good. Though, in the rest of the song there were lines misssing, and some minor timing/pitching too. But!! Don't just focus on that. The rap parts were super & there were some awesome solos/parts! I really enjoyed listening and I totally give all of the participating AKians props.

One just rang my bell louder than the other, and in this case it was the INY team. The cast for IMY can be found in the release's thread. I loooove this. It's flippin' lovely. Everyone in this version sounds magnificent! My brain is too fried by it's epicness to continue rambling and simultaneously making sense, lol. Definitely worth a listen! *brain washes while chanting 'download download'*
