Requests

I have plans. Well, I make them and sometimes they change or I don't have enough time. But I try to be organized, lol. I want to catch up on project concerts, ChiiAyu's video collection, my shoutbox requests, Renna's concert, solo BTW, and other stuff. I promise I will try extra hard to get to everything, I just ask for your continued patience!

It's about 1am, so I figure I have two hours max before I have to go to bed. Let's see what I can get done!! I think I am going to do. . . .DUETS! I noticed that there were quiet a few duets in the shoutbox requests, so I decided to lump them into one entry. I will get to project requests another day.



Teardrops (Kanna feat Koolmon) / "so basically, I'm the one singing all the girl parts and Koolmon is singing all the boy parts. I know, I know, sometimes I sound like I have a penis, but that's totally irrelevant here." OH WHATEVER. She sounds beautiful!! Thank you to Martha (aka Botan) for sharing this with me!

Kanna is so crazy great in this. The verses are super lovely wonderful (0:22)! The key and melody really suit her. I love love her on the chorus' too (1:04)!! Her higher notes are splendid throughout the song and the emotion she sings with is killer awesome! That's what makes this duet so fantastic; both of them sing with lots of passion + emotion!

Koolman's parts are sensational (0:44)! I really like hearing a guy x girl duet, I haven't listened to one in a while. I can't stop smiling. This cover is just so full of feeling! And it makes me happy to listen to two people have such a good time singing, and hearing them really throw themselves into it.

I'm a little confused as to what parts of the song are which, lol. So I added in a times for examples. Kanna's sweet+cool at 2:32, and I love Koolman's "woah" vocalizing at 2:53!! I think the chorus is my fave part of this, but overall it's utterly smashing and immensely enjoyable.

Ano Hi ni Modoritai / I am completely new to this song! It's not very interesting honestly, but the girls sound terrific all the same! There is some minor pitchiness now and then, but nothing awful. I don't hear enough of Erika's lovely voice in the dubbing world, and miss Mystery is as marvelous as ever! I like them the most on the verses of this song I think; all of their solos are sweet and swell.

The girls hit a lot of really nice notes throughout the song, and they are great on the chorus' too. I feel a little bad about not saying much on this duet, since I know they put work into making it, but it's mainly the song choice. It's not in any way a bad dub- overall it's quiet charming. Don't pass up on hearing this melodious duo.



Onna ga Medatte Naze Ikenai [preview fandub] (Alie & Stefanie) / I really like how these girls sound together! I think volumes could be better- sometimes the girls can't be heard very clearly. The instrumental could be turned down a little and I'd like to hear them sing out more. Their verse solos are good, but I think they could be stronger.

Then again, they really bring it on the chorus (and the part leading up to it)!! I love their duet lines!! And they nailed the high notes at the end of the pre-chorus, as well as in the chorus itself. I know that I'm being picky and the finished result will probably be better. But I figured they sent me the preview for my thoughts.

Both of them have amazing voices- strong, mature, lovely. I adore Alie *fangirls* And I don't know if I've ever heard Stefanie before. I feel she's holding back sometimes, then again I haven't heard all that much from her. I totally dig her vibrato though! I think both girls sound fab and I give'em props for taking on this song. I look forward to the full release of this dub, so I can hear more from this duo!!

Aitai Riyuu by Urashi / CClyrics / This last duet wasn't a request exactly, but since I was on the topic I wanted to add this in. I love Rae. We don't always chitchat oodles and oodles, but she was my first dubbing friend and I love her singing. I don't know Aly that well, but from my interactions with her I have come to know that she is an awesome gal. And a fabulous singer too.

Rae has recently become obsessed with AAA, and is always telling me I should check them out. They seem like a pretty cool group, but it's hard to find the time. But she's introduced me to another song of theirs through this dub! Aly&Rae make an epic duo!! I freaking LOVE the rap parts in this, they're so pwn! And the girls are so so so pretty on the verses! The chorus in this makes me all happy emotional. Cause it's fiercely wonderful. And I love the few duet lines; the blending is awesome!

So I just had to share this with y'all. It's worth a kajillion+ listens. So listen to it! I really really seriously truly love this. I don't think I got that fully across to Rae the first time (I'm always distracted with blogging *shot*). And Aly, though I am fail at keeping in touch with you, I'm super happy to hear you in this with Rae ;w; I can has mp3 please? Rabu rabu rabu
