Keeki debut! [Shared vid + MPR (C)]
Momoko Tsugunaga - Okie [DivaDagger]
Miyabi Natsuyaki - Choco [chocolateblakberri]
Airi Suzuki - Sayuri [Lilacsilk28]
Kiss! Kiss! Kiss! by Keeki! (cremeproject) / Ohmygosh, this is fantastic!!! These three gals are perfect for this song! All cuteness, sweetness, loveliness and the definition of adorable! When Sayuri sang her first solo I was immediately in love with her all over again. Her "Kotae nante doko ka ni" is so spot on and pretty, even if simple. Sayuri owns Airi's part.
The "...jan" group lines (0:44 & 0:51) in the second part of the verse are wonderful! I bet parts of this song are easy to be pitchy on; I've heard a lot of dubs of this and more often than not even the best singers have some iffy notes. Such is the case in this dub, but this is a very talented cast and they've done a spectacular job on this song.
Okie would have suited any of the Buono girls with her sweet+kawaii voice, but I find I like her in the part of Momo, because she gets to sing the pre-chorus, which I adore. Actually Miyabi also has it, so I really like that Choco (1:06) and Okie (0:59) got to sing that part, since they both sound fabulous on it!
The higher notes in the chorus make it especially easy to be pitchy on, and that doesn't come close to happeneing here. This song suits Keeki's vocal ranges very well! Okie's 1:26 solo is so cute, I really like her "da yo" ~ Following is Choco and her "A.i.shi.te.ru" is epic!! Moving on to the next chorus; wow, I guess Airi doesn't get interesting lines in this. She is so center in C-ute that you get used to her being so. Sayuri sounds splendid on all her solos, but I find the parts she has sort of boring.
I really like Choco's 1:56 solo, I love her on the melody! The same goes for Sayuri at 2:03 ~ both of their "zutto"s are SO good! I don't think I've ever been so aware of the harmonies that come in the instrumental (I believe?) in this song. You can really hear them during the pre-choruses, like at 2:08. They're a nice touch, though I'd like to hear the girls a little bit more so than some random mature-voiced female singer.
Okie has the first solo on said pre-chorus and I totally love her!! I like the way the syllables are said along with the music (short-long & higher-short, short-short-short-long & higher -short) and she does it wonderfully and sounds so sweet. 2:37 is Sayuri's "Da.ki.shi.me.te" is probably the highlight (of her parts) in this for me; that and her opening solo.
I don't know for sure what is said during the little instrumental break (2:44ish), 'Kiss kiss. Kiss me, baby' ? I know in another dub it was sung as 'Kiss kiss baby' but they aren't actually included in the lyrics so I'm not positive. In this dub it sounds like they are sung as the former and they turned out very super sweet. 3:28 is Choco, and I love her ending "netereba ii" ~ her light vibrato is awesome. And I like how her 'ii' is sung in the silence, since the music cuts out (purposely) for a second.
One last fantastic chorus, and then the dub is finished off with Okie's "A.i.shi.te.ru" which I love to little pieces! Her 'ru' is so so so pretty! All of the girls hit oodles of lovely notes in this dub! Everything is so spot on and well done that you can't help but love this. This is Keeki's debut release and it is brilliant! Y'all should totally check this out~
