Kamei Eri - Chiyo [ xchiyochii ]
Mitsui Aiki - Miya [ tokyostarx ]
Haru Beautiful Everyday (hosted by xChiyoChii) / I've only heard this song once before this, and it was recently too, Egao 9's version. I really like the melody of the chorus, it's so pretty. I think I might have said it before while listening to other birthday dubs, but Happy Birthday Miya!! Thanks to both of these girls for sending this dub my way, I'm so glad that they like to share with me~
jvnesjk, Chiyo's little talking part in the beginning is freaking adorable!! She's a tiny bit pitchy throughout her solo, here and there, but I love the overall emotion she sings with. She's good on the first verse, but I think she's better on the chorus, like her "Kyou ga kono saki no mirai yori" at 1:13. Also the following line too, "Ichiban wakain da shi."
Miya's solo part starts at 1:45 - efjkf kfnewk UWAH. She sounds so so so sweet + cute. I like her on the verse; she's got this sort of subtle emotion. It's not the kind that jumps out at you, but she doesn't sound dead, just quietly energetic. If that makes any sense, lol. Though I was confused around 2:05, the lyric is "ikite ikenai" (as says projecthello), but I on the second 'i' I hear more of a 'yu' sound. I'm not sure if it's a goof in the lyrics or a slight goof by Miya, just something I noticed.
Sadly, Miya doesn't really get much solo time on the chorus, because her part is cut to make the original full length song into the concert version. She does have a few lines of it, since her and Chiyo go back and forth towards the end of the dub. I really like her "Mata anata ni sukoshi chikazuita" at 2:56. And also her "Sugoku suteki Suki yo" at 3:04.
There aren't many times when these two sing together, maybe six times tops. They don't always blend super well, because one or the other will hit a different or off note and you get dischord. But still, I like how they sound together, the combo of their lovely and cute voices. 2:48 is my favorite duet, their "It's So Beautiful! Everyday" is wonderful! And their following "Egao saku haru no hi" is splendid as well. Chiyo's ending speaking part is just as cute as the one in the beginning! Nice job girls~
