BTW

~ Part 1 ~

7:30 - 8:30. Am to Pm. That's what I worked today. But I came home and ate some orgasmic spaghetti and meatballs that my older sister made (and I am not a spaghetti fan really), so that was cool. Solos; I didn't get to them last time, so I'm going to go as far back as my subs on BlaboduNP will let me go, and go from there. It's already pretty late as I start this.

* TomokyoHamasaki [feat kran117] ~ Let Me Be With You / Ohmy, Tomomo sounds wonderful!! So sweet and sunny; delightful. I really like her on this song, though....I don't care for the song itself very much, lol. I find the melody of the chorus a bit annoying, but I think Kran did a lovely job on the flute. Makes me want to bust out my clarinet and play something. Not a very long dub, but most certainly a magnificent one!

*waterpixieva ~ Because I'm a Girl / kjfnjksnffnfjk. WIN! PWN! This dub of Eva's is amazing! I loved it right from her first line, she has a beautiful voice, so rich and lovely & she sounds fantastic on this song -which I've never heard before~ I think that she sounds good in all the languages!

Her beginning in Japanese is really strong, and the following Korean is really well done too. I have a thing for Mandarin, I love the way it sounds to music, so I really like that part of this (1:23). Ohmy, she's fabulous on the Cantonese also, though I am very unfamiliar with the language! Her English rap (2:30ish) is spectacular, and her French later on (3:47ish) is a cool little something extra.

*menaaa0914 ~ Yume Miru 15 / Mena is right; her voice doesn't super suit this song. But! she'd make a good Saki in a groupdub of this, with her more matureish voice. I adore all of the different parts that she sings, like the overlapping Yuuka / duet lines during the pre-chorus. Also, I like how she sounds with herself as well as on actual solos. Her energy level is pretty good, and her high notes turned out swell. I still like her Tsuki no Kakera dub more, though this is marvelous.

*xmikipinkux ~ Koe / I've listened to this a few times now. I'm new to the song, so I wasn't prepared for the beginning, but I really like the way Kappa sounds on what the lyrics refer to as "wow" ~ though it is so much more than a "wow" sound and most definitely wow! As many people have mentioned, and I agree, the highlight of this dub is the high notes!; like the ones it starts off with. 0:19 is especially pretty. Kappa is wonderful on this song all around, but I think I like her the most on the verse, though it's a close call for me.

*icedude999 ~ Wing / It's been way way too long since I've heard anything by Tama. My fault entirely. I don't know a thing about FTI, and this is -yet again- a song I don't know. It's catchy and has a nice beat & melody, one that Tama does very well on! I love her voice; it's so strong and pleasant. She sings with really nice emotion, which makes her well delivered lines even more enjoyable. Overall; terrific!

*DivaDagger ~ Taiyou no Uta / Holycrap. I could be listening to an actual PV+MP3 right now and not a dub. When Okie first starts singing, she just sounds so perfect; very clear and so sweet, at the right vocal volume, and with gentle emotion. She really nails the higher notes in the chorus -which she is lovely on- but I think I like her more on the verses and pre-chorus.

I really like her song choice! Her voice sounds brilliant with the acoustic guitar in the instrumental, and the simple & slowish (yet sometimes semi-upbeat) melody really works for her. She shines in this, and it shows you just how wonderfully talented she is. I'm dying to get my hands on a download of this.

*Fuonyuri ~ Just Be Friends / I'm with Yuri on this one, "I'm not even that fond of the song" lol. She picked it partially to challenge herself and I think that's cool! Her high notes in the beginning are awesome! I really like her on the verse (0:48) - I adore her on the melody of it and her lowerish notes are so lovely!

She did a pretty good job overall on the high notes, a few were a tiny bit iffy, but I give Yuri mega props for trying to tackle them. 1:47ish is excellent! I'm lovin' the energy! I really like her "sakenda....munashiku....sono saki wa....nani hitotsu nokotte ya shinai kedo" parts. I actually like this dub a lot, despite the song. Congrats to Yuri on 200+ subs!!

Annnnnd it's past 2:30am, so I better go. I'll try and get another solos entry up tomorrow. I have lots of things I want to blog about; Hana Pro's Concert, Sekai no Melody's recent releases, and bunches of stuff off my subs list. It's just a matter of finding the time and managing it, heh.
