Poll + Shared Vids

Another random poll, inspired by the previous one! Two more songs that I have heard/seen a lot of dubs of lately. I downloaded Amai (IroKokoro)'s version of aMa no Jaku a while ago, and since then I've seen at least another 2-3 releases by different projects. And I downloaded Cookie Koubou (cremeproject)'s version of Rival when it came out, and have seen several more dubs of it since.

So once again; take your pick! Which song would you rather dub, not only based on personal tastes but on other things ~ How challenging/simple the song is, the difficulty level when it comes to mixing. Key, tempo, etc. A little influence of your own preference isn't too bad either.

Mikan by Ai [aikoaki / reinaloverai] ~ Killer energy!! Ai totally rocked this song! I adore how into it she sounded, it made it really fun to listen to her. She sounds fantastic with herself and also on her actual solos. The beginning part was awesome, the verses were fabulous, and I loved the chorus. Total pwn.

Ayaka Wada = Rach (rozentorndoll)
Yuuka Maeda = Mai (dblingchiu)
Kanon Fukuda = Hina (xoXCookiesnMilkXox)
Saki Ogawa = Miya (TokyoStarx)

aMa no Jaku by Harajuku (KonichibaProject) / The volumes are off, but leader Amaya knows this. It didn't really make anything horribly staticy, just loud & a little staticy. And it's most noticable on the chorus. If you pay it no mind, this dub is easily enjoyable. The chorus is nice and the blending overall is lovely.

It's been a while since I heard Hina's freaking kawaii voice! Only thing about her lines is that she's a little on the quiet side. Mai sounds really cute, but she could use a little more umph! Props to Miya for being a cover!! Rach has such a borderline adorable/mature-ish voice, idk how to describe it. I really liked her solos. All of the girls sound marvelous!

Issai Gassai Anata ni A.ge.ru by Rasubelly / My first thought was that the instrumental could be louder, and other people voiced this as well in comments. But! I thinking about it; this is Belly's audition for Kiseki Project and as far as I know she's applying as a singer/dubber not for mixing -

So it's perfectly okay that she is louder than the music, since that is what you want for auditions; to be able to hear the person singing. I don't know if it was intended or not, but Belly has given Miyako a good example of how well she can sing. I don't care for this song, but Belly sounds great! This was shared with me via StrawberryzProject (Moka-chan).
