IKP [Shared Vids]

I'm a little more than half way caught up on my Shared Vids! But it's already getting kind of late so this might be my last entry for tonight. After I get out of work tomorrow, I have a whole week off. UWAH. So I'll really be able to blog!!

Rottara Rottara by Amai, the debut of three more Generation 3 members / ohemgee! These gals sound magnificent! I've always adored this song, I think it's mega cute, and this trio did a fabulous job on it!! I think this is a must-download. The overall energy is nice and all three of these girls have kick-butt vocals. Everyone delivered their lines super well, timing and pitch are spot on, & the "Rottara Rottara"s sound epic.

One thing is niggling at me though, during the chorus there is this noise!! Like the sound of a water droplet hitting the surface of more water. It's during the "Dore kurai"s, like at 0:46, 0:49, 0:57, 1:00, etc. But also at like 1:11 on the "Rottara Rottara"s following the chorus. *EDIT* Takara got ahold of me, and said it's one of the mics. It's not crazy noticable and doesn't sound bad. We've both agreed that it does give the dub a special (and different) something~

Anyways, I love every single solo in this. I'd break it down and go into detail but then this would be a very long cover of me saying how fabulous/fantastic wonderful/awesome (etc) different parts are. So I'll just sum it up together in one big and simple; FOW. This dub is full. of. win. Spectactular job!

If I had to pick at something; it'd be energy-related. Cerulean is bursting with it and that made her lines more fun to listen to. Ruby is at a pretty good level, actually quite Miyabi like. But I'd like the littlest bit more from Aureolin. I know energy isn't as easy to achieve as it is to ask for. Aure sounds incredibly sweet, and it's not like she comes across as bored (no no no), but I think she'd sound even better with a tid more energy.

MADAYADE by Bishoujo / Honestly, I'm not too focused right now. But I really wanted to share this with y'all! If the IKP girls that participated in this would like me to fully comment on the different solos, I'll find time this week to do so! But at the moment all I can say is that I freaking love this. The chorus is killer, those "wa mada mada mada mada madayade" parts are so on!

I really love Generation 3 and I think they bring a lot to IKP, making it even more wonderful than it already was. This project seems to be getting more recognition and I think that's awesome. I know Takara and all of the members work hard to make beautiful dubs for us to listen to. So y'all, check'em out!
