(Actually 04/14) I started this entry last night, but it got to be like 11-something and I wasn't focusing very well. So I saved it until today. Remember that preview of HoshiDubs I showed y'all? Well it's been released!!

Shimizu Saki: Diabolicbread
Tsugunaga Momoko: Konaneko93
Tokunaga Chinami: AiriSuzuki24
Sudou Maasa: VeePinku
Natsuyaki Miyabi: ChiiAyu
Kumai Yurina: RionDrug
Sugaya Risako: Kakkoiko

Watashi No Mirai No Danna-Sama by Kyohaku / I was excited to hear Ai, it's been a bit since I heard her in a groudub, I think. But there are many fabulous dubbers in this, it's a good cast. I really liked the harmonies! LOL. I'm sitting here listening to the MP3 and I hear this whisper, and I did a double take since I didn't know where it'd come from. Background noise on some part of the dub?

So I turn it up and push my headphones against my ears to get a better listen, clicking about in 30 seconds or so of track to find it. Then, I realize I had opened Iroppoi Jirettai on YT and it had started to play/load and I'd heard part of the little intro. I'm such a dork sometimes.

But by turning up the volume and listening super hard, I got to enjoy the harmonies even more. When just listening, sure you hear them, but when focusing you hear how good they turned out. Props to the girls for that. I think this dub is really good! But I decided to fully cover Hoshi's other recent release.

"Some people need to work on pitch, and energy." This was pretty much the general view of this dub. It's not all bad, I still liked listening to it. Though I do agree that there was off notes and some pitchiness. But since I saw about five people ask for feedback on this dub, I'm gonna do it~

Takahashi Ai: Sen [NatsujiSen]
Niigaki Risa: Mary [Marianahime]
Tanaka Reina: Bel [MomoxMochi]
Kusumi Koharu: Saya [AnimefreakXDD]
Kamei Eri: Naoka [BanryuSaint]
Yoshizawa Hitomi: Sara [Yuns217]
Konno Asami: Rii [AzNxRawRx]
Fujimoto Miki: Karen [ChiiAyu]
Michishige Sayumi: Ai [Kakkoiko]
Ogawa Makoto: Cai [VisualCai]

Looking at the color-coded lyrics from projecthello.com is not encouraging. There are only 13 solos in this song and tons of duet/group parts. And the solos are only divided between six girls, lame H!P. Anyways, here we go. Sorry if this is ends up being really long ~ Saya and Naoka did great on the whisper dialogue at the beginning!!

[*] The first duet is Sen and Cai at 0:38, and they sound good together! I liked their "ROAD." 0:42 is Rii and Bel. Egah. Honestly, it's what we're all thinking when we hear the discord. I think it's mostly because they are singing in two different, and non-meshing, keys. Though I think it's Bel who was off-key.

In the PV, it seems to (most of the time) show the girl who has the melody first and the girl with the harmony second. And I've listened and matched voices up and I believe the dub follows that. It sounded like Bel had the melody and she was the one I heard more of the two.

In the next solo, Mary and Ai at 0:47, I think I am hearing Mary on the melody and Ai on the harmony. If I'm right or wrong, either way both of them sound wonderful! If you listen super hard, the harmony's ending "ba" sounds a teeny tiny bit off. Or that could just be me, idk. These two gals sang their line so spot on. If I'm right on who I'm hearing on which part, Mary had awesome energy and Ai could maybe have used a sinch more; though I know singing lower and sounding energetic isn't always easy.

Sara and Karen at 0:51. I mostly heard the melody here, but you hear the harmony well towards the end of the line. And actually, that's exactly how it's supposed to sound. With the harmony coming in louder on the "ru" in "MEERU." This duo nailed it. Very lovely.

[*] 0:57 is Cai and Saya. I really liked these two as a pair, even though you don't hear a very long line from them. Their voices sound so good together. And I adore the little vibrato I heard on the ending "nara." Following that is Mary and Naoka at about 0:59, and omg they sound awesome. Mary has such a borderline lovely/cute voice. The blending of melody and harmony by these two was great!

Sen and Karen at 1:02 had the first "Happy End Story" and it was fabulous! I know they didn't record together, but they are so in unison on top of their kick-butt blending. I love it. The repeated line a second later is sung by Bel and Ai. Again, Bel is off-key and sticks out. This distracted my attention from Ai's harmony part. But I listened a few times, and Ai sounds wonderful. Bel seems to go higher up than necessary a lot of the time.

[*] Next is Sen and Rii at 1:06. They sounded great!! But the end of their line sounds, cut-off? a little bit. It's not supposed to be a long note, the "rya" (which sounds like 'ga' even in the Momusu version, lol) is only two counts and though they held it that long, it just sounds, blah. Kind of weak? Like the energy died out towards the end. It's not a huge deal, I just suck at wording things ;w;

1:08 is Ai and Saya. Epic!! I loved this little line, it's short but fabulous. And the timing was good, cause it's like; "u-re shi-i ke-do" accented syllables. I guess it's not super hard to sing (since I tried singing it myself) but still, they did great. ! ! !

First non-duet of the song at 1:17; Cai, Karen, and Bel. Ohmy, Bel fits wonderfully into this trio! It's all smooth and blended and nice! And I can really hear the awesome harmony backing up the melody. I'm feeling the energy! I freaking love the vibrato on the end. I think it was Cai or Karen or both, but it's lovely.

[*] For the chorus (1:16) the girls are spilt into two groups; Cai, Karen, Ai, Bel, Saya & Sara, Sen, Rii, Mary, Naoko. Both of them sound great! The energy is awesome!! And all of the lines were delivered so freaking well! I really liked the "KISU motto" and "kodou"

1:23 is the first solo in the song, by Bel. And it's off. It sounded like she started a tiny bit too high on the "SEXY" and also off key, which in turn puts the whole solo off key. Her pitch needs work. But! She got the rhythm right, and maintains pretty good energy overall~

Lol, at 1:29 is Sen's solo and her "kono" sounded autotune-like to me. Not in a bad way, it's kind of cool actually. I think it's just something that randomly turned out sounding like that. She sounds good. (omg I'm so hungry, I need to grab a snack or something) Okay, that it's for line by line detailed rambles. Now I'm going to focus on the rest of the solos and whatever jumps out at me.

[*] Mary and Ai make such an awsome duo. I liked their first line together back at 0:47 and their line at 1:53 appealed to me greatly as well. And 2:04 to 2:09 were all wonderful duets! The chorus starts back up again at 2:23 and it sounds just as marvelous as before. Sen gets the second "SEXY ISLAND" of the song at 2:30 and it was good, but maybe a sinch more energy?

Karen/Chii at 2:36. We all know I insanely adore her vocals, so I won't ramble on. But she pwned her solo. I really liked her "hoshii" - she put such emotion into it. Oh my gosh, one killer solo after another!! 3:16 is Sen's best line, in my opinion. She sounds soooo good. She delivered her line so well! I loved her "iroppoi"

3:19 is Sara. She rocked her entire solo, but I really liked the first part of it, the "jirettai KISU" - such freaking awesome energy! ngekwgnkwgj, Saya blew my mind with her kawaii-ness at 3:21. Amazing solo. 3:23 is Naoka. A little strained sounding on the high note, but she sounded good all the same.

Bel at 3:25. Good!! Only two iffy notes, on her "o" sounds in "hoshi mo" but by far her best line in the song! And at 3:38 is Mary, who did a splendid job on her solo; lovely. In the last chorus, I really like the group on "zutto tsuzuku no" (3:40) - it sounds so good!! Karen at 3:42; ohemgee, I love the trill she does on "ISLAND" - Momusu does it too in the actual song, so Karen was spot on. It's such a cool touch, and she sounds amazing on it.

[*] I can say- after listening to this like two dozen times (and listening to certain parts over and over again) -that this dub is actually really good. Yes the pitchiness is noticable, but it's only about seven lines out of how many? A total of maybe 25 seconds or less. So 4:30 - 0:25 = 4:05. Minus the seconds of music without singing (roughly a minute+). That means there is at least 2 and a half minutes of epicness.

Gals; feel good, be proud. You did awesome! Now I will have this song in my head forever, lol. I'll be at work singing "SEXY ISLAND" and my co-workers will give me funky looks.
