HANA = EPIC WIN

Hi everyone! Kappa here with some news! (Thank you Aya for allowing me to shamelessly advertise this here :P) I haven't been writing much for Blabodu as of late, but there have been good reasons, and this is one of the things that's been keeping me busy elsewhere:

As of today, the Hana Project website/blog has officially been launched! We've been working on it for months at this point, but finally now we have all the kinks worked out and some stuff posted for readers to enjoy. Here's some of the stuff you can currently find on the blog:

• Pocket Hana -- a take on Pocket Morning, with weekly questions answered by the HanaPro members
• Hana Hot 10 -- a monthly poll to determine the best 10 official and indies dubs produced by the project in the past month and a following results post
• Shuukan Spotlight -- a weekly spotlight on one member of HanaPro, chosen at random. This also includes a 'drawing' to have that member guest star in a dub of your choice.
• Reader Input Polls -- because we like to hear what you think, we have occasional polls to determine what we'll sing for certain dubs. Currently there is one up to determine our 500 Subscriber Commemorative dub (when that event comes along).
• Release Updates -- each time we have a release on either the HanaProjectDubs or HanaProIndies account, we'll post about it here
• Hana News -- blogs about the inner goings-on of the project, including news on things such as graduations, auditions, generation battles, and other fun stuff we're doing and planning.

In the future, we also plan to include special features, like blogs following Kinsenka, Akizakura, Mizuki, and my adventures meeting AKB48 at Anime Expo 2010 in July. There may also be some releases that we put out early on the blog and won't be available until later on YouTube.

We're all really excited about this new step foward in our future and hope you all will support us by reading the blog and/or signing up at our forums! In case you didn't know already, we have a forum where anyone can host their own independent projects and share what they've done, so our forums are not just the place where our projects run. It's a whole little community!

~Aya here! Butting in on Kappa's little announcement! I have taken a look at the blog, and it's awesome!! The entries that have been posted so far are SO cool, like the PocketHana. Just reading everyone's thoughts and opinions gives you a small insight into what the Hana members are like, and makes you want to know more about them.

And total random LOL, I don't know which of you were a member of HanaP's previous forum, but they had a lot of really funny icons / avatars and signature images. The Hana girls areally are a funny bunch, and even though they work hard, they still have fun. And one of the things that always made me laugh was that everyone had picture of bums for their icons. Like, girl butts. As sort of a joke.

And the other day I was talking to Rae, and I was like; HOMG, I finally made myself a butt icon!! and I of course shared. And since I'm probably not going to be joining their newer forum, since my blog keeps me too busy and I wouldn't be active, I wanted to share my icon!! I hope it inspires y'all to go join in the fun, lol.

HELLO HARUNA! It's from a screencap of their latest song, Taiyou To Kimi Ga Egaku Story. I downloaded the PV as a change from downloading MP3s, and then got carried away screencapping for icons. If you've got me on MSN, my current one is of Tomomi!! But yeah, when I saw it, I couldn't pass up making me a Hana icon.

BUT ER, I'm being random. POINT OF AYA'S RAMBLE - Y'all should totally check out Hana's blog, cause it's hella awesome. Even the layout just screams WE ARE EPIC. I am very excited about all of the things that Kappa mentioned and plan on trying my hardest to keep an eye on the blog~
