Dakishimete~

My internet is starting to piss me off a little. My aunt just got Wifi and she says it's really fast and works great for her. She lives right next to me, lol. So I am guessing it would work well for me too. I'm going to call her very soon and see what's what and what I can do. Cause my slow internet is driving me crazy. Anyways, we'll see what I can get done tonight.

Inshouha Renoir no You ni by Ransuu (Iro Kokoro Project) / I've never cared much for this song, it just doesn't ring my bell. But I'll listen to anything by IKP, cause they've been spitting out on epic dub after another. I couldn't stop singing their Yume Miru 15sai dub at work today, I especially had just that tiny little line in the beginning where they all say the name of the song together, LOL.

The "Dakishimete"s sound freaking fantastic, I love the blending, though the repetitiveness wears on me some; that's the song though, not the girls. Violet's "kono machi wo zenbu" at 0:21 is great, I love her umph! And Jade's "kono yumegoto" at 0:28 is wonderful as well, she sounds lovely. Amber makes a fabulous Reina! Like on her "mite yo" at 0:32, and the following "SEXY" (Am/Vi) is awesome!! Emerald has the low lines in the verses - the "kitai" at 0:36 and "kowai" at 0:43 - and I adore them; I'm a sucker for good lower notes!

Pre-chorus at 0:45, I really like the melody and how the girls sound on it - especially Violet's "datta" at 0:58, I love the attitude she sings it with! The chorus is my favorite part of this dub! I really like all of the one-word duets, "KISU" "KANA" etc; the girls shift pairs from duet to duet. Amber's "ENDLESS SUMMER NIGHT" at 1:06 is kick butt! Emerald's 1:12 solo is marvelous, especially the "de yo ne" - she sounds pretty on the held 'ne' & Jade is swell on her "RUNOAARU no you ni"

HA, I go and say something about the repetitive part, and then I can't stop singing it to myself. I went and had dinner and was all, "Dakishimete Dakishimete Dakishimete" ~ they sound just as good the second time in the dub. The verses from 1:49 to 2:02 are all magnificent; I really like Vi/Am "MY HEART" duet. In the next set of solos, starting at 2:03, everyone gets one line in the little section, and I love'em! Amber has such awesome emotion! - I really like the "ai no yoru" of Jade's part, very lovely - Emerald's whole line is pure fabulousness & I LOVE Violet's "datta" she sounds so pretty!

The rest of the song is basically all chorus, which the girls did a splendid job on. When I first started listening, my meh-ness over the song didn't make me very excited, but Ransuu really turned me around. I most definitely enjoyed this; it may not be my favorite by them, solely cause I like other songs more, but this is still pretty snazzy, and so worth a listen~
