AIYA [Shared Vid]

Fail. I slept in to catch up on my sleep, then I spent a long while looking into H!P merch (so much stuff I want) before I decided I'd go with pictures this time around. Though I really want to get my hands on Berryz's Maji Bomber when it comes out! And then I watched Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. What a win day for blogging LOL~

Momoko Tsugunaga - Yuuki [JenniferdeGraaff]
Airi Suzuki - Nina [AnimeXLover28Kat]
Miyabi Natsuyaki - Belly [Rasubelly]

Independent Girl by Ai~Su Cream (Charms Project) / CClyrics / Oh, I've never heard this song before; it's pretty cool. I like the melody of the verses, but I sort of find the chorus repetitive. I've listened to this a lot LOL. So much that I am tired of hearing "Independent Girl" being sung, but not enough that I won't review it. Especially since this was shared with me on YT.

First solo is Nina at 0:24 and fjkwjke fjknewfjk !! She sounds fantastic! homg, I am loving her voice. I like her opening "me wo samashite yo" quite a bit. I don't think I'm that familiar with her, aside from the other dubs I've listened to by this group - but, I'm more than happy to become familiar with her lovely singing!

0:30 is Bellychan! I'm so glad I met her; she's a super nice gal and I adore listening to her, in both her solos and in groupdubs. She never disappoints me, always doing her thing with her awesome mature voice. On her solo her, I really like her "aishiteitara." And the rest of her solo after that; "kitto hidoi koto dekinai hazu desho" = EPIC. She does a fabulous job singing on beat with the faster pace and not goofing up the lyrics.

Nina again at 0:38, her "furimawasarechatte" is nice - I kind of wish I got to hear her on a different melody. Each girl only gets 2-3 solos in this, and Nina's are all the same melody and all not very long. I need to listen to more dubs from these three, not only because I mega love'em, but also so I can keep on hearing them sing in different styles and melodies.

Following is another wonderful solo by Belly at 0:45. I like her previous solo more, cause the last bit of melody is different since it's leading up to the pre-chorus, but this one is still great! I like her "natteru" even though there is a tiny strain on the 'teru' she tackled the slightly higher notes well! And finally! Some Yuuki at 0:53! It's just the way the song goes; Miya & Airi on the verses and Momo gets the pre-chorus. I like her "no ai wa sonna" - she does a good job on the high 'ai' and 'na'

Chorus time~ As I've already mentioned, I'm not a big fan of the "Indepent Girl" parts of this song. The chorus' melody is pretty rocking, but, I don't know. Just something about it makes me not like it as much as other parts of the song. Not that these gals don't sound marvelous; they most certainly do! But my 'meh'ness towards the chorus makes it lower on the totem pole for me. This group sounds wonderful together, and I heard oodles of nice notes.

1:48 is Nina, 1:55 is Belly - both of which did a smashing job on their solos. And 2:03 is Yuuki - who sounds great as well; her "nai AIYA" is fun. The rest is all chorus. As much as I 'meh' it, it really is fantabulous by these three. Don't let my dislike (song wise, not dub wise) taint your own thoughts, lol. You don't have to like a song in order to enjoy someone singing it. Nice job, Ai~Su Cream! Plus, extra points for picking a song that hasn't been done by half the dubbing population.
