Izumi [faraBANG]
Risa [omgspazattack]
Noeruu [kingdomheartstibute]
Okie [DivaDagger]
Yuri [Fuonyuri]

Shock! by alo!kira / CClyrics / OMG THIS MAKES ME SO HAPPY! Not only because the girls sound good, but because they didn't stick with what lame-o Tsunku did with the lines!! Risa commented that "I laughed in the beginning with 5 different voices coming out of Airi's mouth" - and I admit, it's kind of funny. But my first reaction was kjgnf jkfwekj ! ! ! Or something like that, because I was SO excited that this wasn't going to be just a solo with back up singing. No offense to people who have done it that way, since it is how the song goes, but I hate H!P for doing that to the other girls of C-ute. Is line distribution so hard? [/rant]

Yuri freaking blew my mind on the beginning verse (0:51). Her first line "ichinen chikaku tsudzuita" is kind of quiter compared to the rest, but it's smooth and smexy sounding, and it catches your attention, leading you on to the next line where you go WOW cause her "konna no hajimete dakara" is totally bursting with energy / emotion and she sounds awesome! And the energy stays for the rest of her solo! I really like how Yuri sounds on all of the "kara"s that end the last three lines. She delivers her solo fantastically!

Noeruu's solo starts at 1:04; she had a really good first line, I really liked her on the "bi nan dashi" part. You can tell she had a little trouble on the second line, but she recovers from it so well! Her "suggoku" was unsmooth, but there are a lot of times I'm singing lyrics and trip over my own tongue. And following that, at the end of the line her "datta" sounds fabulous! Her note on 'ta' is very lovely. She goes a little off on the "mo" of her third line, but I'm lapping up the delightful umph! that she sings her solo with.

I'm not a big fan of the pre-chorus in this song, like at 1:17 (reoccurs later too) - I just don't like the melody of it; nothing against the girls. They share the different extra vocal-sounds throughout the songs - Risa's "SHOKKU"s at 1:18 are marvelous, and Yuri's following one is sexy! Izumi's "Un" at 1:29 is freaking EPIC. Ohmygosh, I love it. This group blends splendidly together! I really like them all on the "fukki rana kereba" (1:35) of the chorus, which is actually really short, but great!

1:51 is Risa, and OH EM GEE. Her first two lines sound amazing! - "matta kuso buri misenai, anata ga sugoi no kashira" ! She nailed them so hardcore, gjnjkggr fewfnwekn! Her next two lines aren't as smooth, but still good. She went a little off on the 'kana' of the "kidzukanai" but it's such a tiny little off part that it's gone in the black hole of it'doesn't-matter. Her overall solo is excellent.

Izumi at 2:03, she had a fantastic first line! I really like the first line of all the girls' solos, as what I said about Yuri's applies to them all; they're a lower-ish & quieter line that sounds smexy and leads into the the next line. Izumi pwned, it's probably my favorite line from her, "namida ga konya mo tomaranai." Her third line sounds good, but at the same time her "tengoku jigoku" is a bit unclear. Though it's understandable, since it's tricky *tries to sing it and fails* She had great energy / emotion throughout her solo!

Okie's "SHOKKU" at 2:18 kind of left me wanting. The first syllable is usually held out a little, and hers were real short. She sounds cute, but just sort of 'shock' and not "SHOKKU!" lol, I don't know if I'm making sense. Noeruu's 2:21 "SHOKKU" is great. And next is more wonderful chorus! I like everyone on the "koukai shinasai." And I adore Yuri's little "CHAA" at the end of it. I don't know why, but I don't care for Okie + this song. I love her singing oodles and oodles, but I think other songs suit her voice way better. Her solo was good nonetheless.

The girls finish well on the last bit of chorus; I freaking love the "natte yaru wa" - how they go up to the high note! I get tired of this song fast, even if I like parts of it. So yay me for getting through it all, and props to the alo!kira girls for doing such a magnificent job that I wanted to listen to it all the way through, lol.
