Sharing is caring!

I woke up with "jakkoo jakkoo" in my head, lol. And when I got on I started listening to Neorago on repeat. I stayed up late (bad Aya) so I let myself sleep in some. But now I'm all set to start blogging!! Though I might want to grab something to eat, my tummy is rumbling.

Natsuyaki Miyabi- Aubergine [missgumbiecat]
Suzuki Airi- Pearl [MewKiyoko]

Honto no Jibun by Amai (IroKokoroProject) / Buono's first single is much like S/mileage's first single for me; kind of boring. They're both nice song, but I wouldn't choose them to listen to over all the other stuff I like way more. After listening to not even half of this, I wanted the MP3; it's that good. Sadly the download's not up, but I implored Takara and hopefully it will be today. Amai is fastly becoming my favorite group of IKP.

A fabulous "Ikiteru kagiri" at 0:18 starts the dub off on a great first verse; this trio sounds really good together. The "ganbare" at 0:31 was actually Amaranth, but she fit right in so well, sounding adorable, that if you weren't paying attention you probably wouldn't notice it was someone else. Props to her for helping Takara out.

The first set of solos at 0:45 are marvelous! I adore Aubergine's "Mai daarin" at 0:57. This song has a very simple set up; verses/part 1, part 2, chorus. Repeat. And! It has an even number of solos between the girls (could it be that Tsunku didn't write, compose or arrange it?) The chorus is lovely, I really like how they sound on the higher notes in the third line (if you refer to lyrics); the 'da' in "hamidashite" at 1:06 & 'zui' in "chikazuite" at 1:09.

Another fabulous set of group lines at 1:32; the echo of the first line sounds cool. At first I didn't remember if that was part of the song, or if it was an extra bit. But I checked and it is (I had to dig up an old burned CD of misc H!P songs to find Buono's version cause I was too lazy to wait for the vid to load on my computer, which is being a little slow right now, lol) So props for attention to detail. Sapphire's "wakaru" at 1:45 is so kawaii!

More wonderful solos at 1:59; Sapphire's at 2:03 was probably my fave of hers. The blending on the chorus is fantastic! All of the "Honto no jibun"s and "Oh yeah Ima sugu"s sound great. I always like the solos with barely any background music, the ones that are usually towards the end before the last chorus. I think 2:09 is Pearl's best solo, she has nice emotion; I like the "Nanni mo nai" part.

Aha, I knew it! Every time I heard the Miyabi lines I was like; I know that voice, it sounds like Martha. So I looked at IKP's channel to add in the usernames, and I was right! Aubergine sounds super awesome; I really like her 3:20 solo. I don't always match IKP names up with the dubbers right away, hehe. Overall, this is downright delightful. The energy level is good, I don't think I heard one wrong or even off note, and the mixing sounds splendid.

Also - "This is a debut of our last Generation three member, Sapphire (Tiffany @ aimforthestarss). Great job Sapphy and welcome to the family!" Congrats to her on this epic debut. Good luck to Takara on her studies too, and feel better soon Amaranth.
