MC HPS ~ Tracks: 2, 3

Since I just talked to Musume Charm I decided to listen to a few more tracks from their 21 song concert, Happy Spring Party!~ 2010. When MC first contacted me they mentioned it and how they were hoping to attract people; I know they're proud of what they've done. And so they should be, because they worked very hard to put out such a long concert. So I'm going to try and listen to all 21 tracks, featuring them now and then in seperate entries, so I don't have one huge post, lol.

Track 2: Marshmallow by C (00sweetmelodys) of Lady&Love / Dwah C sounds darling! I've never heard this song before and I have to say that I don't like marshmallows, lol. But I do like this solo. C's higher notes on the "Marsh" part of the word during the chorus are really nice. She puts emotion into her singing, which makes it interesting to listen to.

The non-verse extra little part at 2:19-2:40 before the chorus comes back in at 2:41 was really cute. With her softer voice, sometimes it just sounds like she could use more energy. I kept debating it and I think her energy is at a pretty good level. Oh! I have heard this song, but only once or so. C did a great job and she sounds adorable.

Cast (*covers) ~ Color-coded lyrics

Suzuki Airi: *Brittany
Tsugunaga Momoko: Rii
Natsuyaki Miyabi: *Kiyami

Track 3: Kiss! Kiss! Kiss! by Choko! / I always forget to look for the lyrics, so I start wondering who is singing when, and then I lol at myself. I really like having the color-coded lyrics on hand. The chorus on this was pitchy, cause you could tell that one of the girls had trouble reaching the notes. For this dub, it was the verses that rocked. Everyone sounds so good on their solos.

Brittany has such a cute/pretty voice, she suits Airi. Some lines could have used more energy though. I really liked her 1:33 solo! Rii has a nice voice, and sounded good on the verses. But she was real pitchy on the chorus. I know they are high notes and it isn't always super easy stay in perfect tune, so she gets props for effort. I like Kiyami's parts a lot, she has a great voice and delivers her lines well. I adored her "A.i.shi.te.ru."

There really isn't much blending on the chorus; Brittany and Kiyami sound nice together but you mostly hear Rii, cause even though she's off, she has a strong voice. Though they can hit them, the other two are softer on the high notes. So the three aren't balanced volume wise. Many people have trouble with KissKissKiss' chorus, so if you keep that in mind and focus on the verses and other parts; this is a marvelous dub.
