BT; SV ~ Final Part

This is sort of a last part of Back Track; Solo Version. It's is a little tricky to organize, because not everyone lives in the same time zone. So when I've still got several hours left in the day to do blogging stuff, it's already super late for someone else. On top of that, for many people there's school, work, and other obligations. Really, 24 hours in a day is not enough, lol. I never get done all of the things that I want to. But it all makes me incredibly happy~

I searched through both accounts trying to find some solos from this past week that hadn't been covered. I have one review from Izumi that I didn't get to put up yesterday, but that's it. So this is mostly going to be me talking; and don't y'all just love that? lol. This is kind of my last ditch effort at trying to finish solo stuff off, so other things can be moved onto. And trust me, there is always something else to blog about. Okay, enough rambling from me! Onward~

Magnet (Vocaloid Duet) by RenshiKyo and shockingbuggy / Review by Aya / jnjifn efwfnef !! This is so good!! I'm so glad I discovered the awesomeness that is Renna through Yoproject. She has a very lovely voice that she can make some beautiful music with. She sounds FANTASTIC in the beginning - like, you're listening to the music and waiting and then. . . .it's not like BAM; it's prettier than that. But your just instantly wowed at how wonderful she sounds / sings. This is a good song for her.

oh my gosh, I LOVE Buggy in this!! Like, I knew it was her, so I was expecting her voice, and I eventually heard it, but it was so much more amazing than I was ready for. I freaking love and adore her lower parts, they're BRILLANT. I really really like her on this song as well. She has so many mind blowing lines!! The chorus is AMAZING! I love the sound of the two parts, the melody and harmony together; these two do it so well together! This dub is FOW x a kajillion.

Munasawagi Scarlet by Eiko [chiisanahoshi] / Review by Izumi / I'm rather unfamiliar with this name, to be honest. This doesn't say much, seeing as I'm rather new to Hello!Project and the H!P dubbing community still, so this is a bit of a discovery for me too! Munasawagi is one of my favorite Berryz songs that isn't totally recent, so when I saw this on the list I HAD to do it! Here goes~ :3

As for mixing, I'm pretty sure she uses a Mac like I do, and if thats the case, MAC USERS UNITE!! I suggest, (if you read this, Eiko), that you mix with Garageband. It's a little difficult to grasp at first, but Garageband does SO MUCH more in the way of mixing than Audacity does. As for the mixing on the dub itself, I quite enjoyed it. There were certain points where the vocals got a little quiet, but she mentioned it in the video description, so I was half-expecting it to be a lot quieter than it ended up being! Her timing was pretty much spot on, too.

As for the dub itself, I think that she has a really cute voice, but pitching and pronunciation could use a bit of work. It wasn't so much that she is pronouncing the words wrong, but at certain places she misplaced certain syllables. As for the pitching, it was really only noticeable at Miyabi's higher note at around 3:41 where it was really noticeable.

But she said that she wasn't sure what note it was - "and I wasn't bother to record it again" - so is this all a one-shot? If so, its pretty darn good for a one-shot! And if not, I still really like her here, especially on the verses! Her energy here was decent too, perhaps not the most energetic HOMFG LETS GET UP AND BE ENERGETIC dub ever (then again, this isn't the most HOMFG LETS GET UP AND BE ENERGETIC SONG ever, so xD) but energy was pretty okay here. I would say put just a LITTLE more behind it and she'll be good to go! :3

Nakidasu Kamo Shirenai yo by Mena [menaaa0914] / Review by Aya / I haven't actually really listened to this song yet; it's the B-side to Momusu's latest single. Part of the chorus really reminds me of Massara Blue Jeans by C-ute - 1:15 sounds similar to the third line of their chorus. Anyways! I'm kind of going off-subject here, lol. But for what it means, I totally forgot I was listening to a dub.

Mena sounds magnificent! Her voice reminds me of someone, but I can't put my finger on it. I love her mature sound, that still has a cute edge to it. I don't know if she did the backing voices in this; obviously not the guy, lol. The other females sound like maybe Momusu's harmonies? But I'm not sure. Either way, Mena herself did a fabulous job on this dub, I really liked listening.

Otakebi Boy WAO by Michi [hitsugayahinamori] / Review by Aya / LOL, when I was reading the drop-down section and got to the disclaimer, on first glance I somehow read; 'I own my own voice, yes?' Yes Michi, you do own your own voice! Unless she's like Ariel and had some seawitch steal it. GASP or if she stole someone else's voice! Nah, I know she didn't, her adorable vocals are all her own~

Congrats to Michi on 200 subs!! That's what this dub is for, and I must say it's pretty darn fantabulous. I have listened to dubs of this song quite a bit in the past few weeks, but I never really tire of it, and I could never tire of Michi's singing. It was hard to tell whether she was doing a bit of vocal imitating when she sang the different parts; sometimes I thought yes, and other times I thought I was looking too far into it, lol. Regardless, this is an awesome, energy packed solo that y'all should totally check out~
