Ohemgee CNN, no you didn't. Sadly, yes they did! I was checking out my youtube main page, seeing if I had any notices or such, when I saw Kate (katethegreat19)'s bulletin; "Stella Voci's Canon in D was featured on CNN this afternoon! I didn't get to see it, but I'm so so happy and proud of Stella Voci!"
That's SO awesome! ! ! I didn't get to see it either, but I am hoping a video of yesterday's broadcast is released/uploaded at some point. Or as Kate also said "If anyone happened to record the show, please tell me! I'll ADORE YOU FOREVER!"
But with this exciting news came some disappointing news as well. CNN didn't credit Stella Voci! WTF?! Kate also bulletined that she'd found the transcript of the airing and that she is a "bit disappointed that the video was shown but no credit was given to the ones who sang it."
I'll admit that I bugged her for the transcript's URL, and she was nice enough to PM it to me. gnerjkgnerjkgnjknhtrklhnlnkmtlrh ! ! ! I guess CNN has this thing where some guy talks about videos he's seen on YouTube or something, idk. I read through the transcript, and you wanna know what was said?
"(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)
(MUSIC)
(END VIDEO CLIP)
This one has a cappella songs. This is Pachelbel's Canon."
And THAT'S IT! Nothing else. Stella Voci wasn't even named, and that was the least they could do. Freaking A! I adore SV's beautiful breath-taking releases and it bums me that CNN is so flipping lame. If you've never checked out SV I suggest you do so, they are an amazing group run by a very gifted person; Kate.
