I didn't feel like blogging yesterday. So I checked out the latest releases on jpopasia.com (I really like 23:45 by Juliet) and watched some more Coffee Prince (I freaking love this kdrama). But THANKS GOODNESS it's the weekend. Two glourious days off.
Solos in order of Hearance: Reika / Nykki / Martha / Ami / Kiro
Uwaki na Honey Pie by Pluto. The latest from CosmosProject / Such a peppy bubbly song. The girls did good on the energy level, and I adore the group parts. Some super cute solos as well. lol, I wasn't even paying attention to the reverb, until I read about it in the drop-down info. But the blending is indeed wonderful.
Ajisai Ai AI Monogatari (2010 Ver) by Yugao. The second installment in Hana Project's Redo Month ~ 2009 Version / The overall quality has improved, and so have the dubbers. They all seem to have. . . .er, become familiar with their voices and have a better control of them, thus delivering their lines even better. idk how to word it, lol.
The blending on the group parts was good in the old version, but better in the new one. There is also is a slightly higher energy level. The first dub was great! HanaPro has always put out wonderful releases. But it's awesome that they manage to sound better and better with each dub.
I think Redo Month is a cool idea. "The final part of our anniversary celebration is a month of singles devoted to redoing old songs that the project has already released." Check out their channel to listen to their other redo dubs~
A preview of HoshiDubs' coming release, Mikan ~ Shuensha's third single / It sounds pretty good so far. I adored Reina's "Oh yeah one time!" from whoever has her part. But there is a voice that sticks out to me. Like their volume is louder than everyone else. You really notice in the first set of the chorus, barely in the second, and then again in the next set. It's not bad, it just steals your attention a bit from the rest of the group. I look forward to hearing the full release~
