Oh em gee. I just had an idea. I don't know why I had it, or why I am crazy enough to consider following through with it. But, I think I will. LOL. I've just been browsing, hopping from profile to profile looking to discover more dubbing groups to cover. And I end up checking out the latest for the HanaProject auditions.
109. One hundred and nine. That's how many video replies they had. Which means 109 people took time to pick out a song, sing their little hearts out and do all the other little things involved in auditioning. Do a little flashbacking to Buggy's first episode of Dubber's Radio, where she talked all about the process of auditioning.
Wanna know what my crazy idea is? To sit here and listen to ALL FREAKING 109 OF THEM. Very many of the people who auditioned are familiar to me, or I'm friends with. I know how they sound. But there are so many more voices I haven't heard.
I sort of BS-ed a little system to use. It'll all be text, unless I really love the dub, then I'll put in the video. Starting from the first listed, to the last listed. I'm just going to toss out little comments, cause I'm trying to be brief. Don't be offended by anything, please! And huge props to everyone who auditioned!!!
Hikasaii / Our Songs by Buono!
Super cute voice! Pretty good energy.
HanaAino / Thank you Love - Ending song of Taiho Shichau zo!
Mature, low-range but lovely. Could use a little more energy.
Some beautiful notes though.
IDES444 / Onna ni Sachi Are by Momusu
Pretty vocals. Could use more umph! though. Kept time well.
candyraver009 / Yeah! Meccha Holiday by Matsuura Aya
Great energy. High cute voice. A little strain on some high notes. Kind of Koharu-like at times.
candyraver009 / Kuyashi Namida Porori by Yuko Nakazawa
Redo. Way better! Middle range suits voice more than higher stuff.
Candyland168 / First Kiss by Suzuki Airi
Her first dub ever! Really good for a first.
Could improve on some stuff. Cute voice.
CreamToLove / THE LAST NIGHT by Matsuura Aya
Kawaii voice! A little strain on some highnotes.
The softness was done well.
fantasykingdom1227 / Tear Drops ~ Instrumental too loud sometimes, but beautiful voice. She made it into the second round. I shall keep an eye on her.
lovelybeige / Tomodachi wa Tomodachi Nanda! by Berryz
I don't care for vocal imitation.
She sounds good, but what is her actual voice like?
therealallisons / Goto Maki Medly
Nice voice. Mature but can sound cute.
Sometimes off key, some lovely parts though.
HanaAino / Life by Maki Goto
Redo? I'd like to hear her do an upbeat song.
This was okay. Again, lovely voice.
Suki Sugite Baka Mitai ChiiAyu version~
I love and adore Chii & her singing. Amazing. I love this dub.
animeobsessed40 / VERY BEAUTY by Berryz
(Redo) Cute. Lines could flow more, they're kind of short.
Some strain on high notes.
aznfiregirl / Onna ga Medatte Naze Ikenai by Momusu
Good energy. Wrong notes, but nice voice.
Can tell she really tried!
Kissfully / No More Words by Ayumi Hamasaki
Whisper-sings. Off key sometimes. Strain on high notes.
I'd like to hear her sing a lower upbeatish song.
-INSERTING OF RANDOM AYA THOUGHT-
Why did so many people pick slow songs?!
MayuChanDesuXD / Suki Dakara by Izumi Katou
Some off notes, but kept time well. Nice clear voice.
Rasubelly / Not a super favorite. But she did really good on the verses and I like her voice quite a bit. Lovely. Maybe a sinch more umph!
MichiyoOgawa / Otome no inori by Mano Erina
Sings a bit too soft, more power & energy!
Seems to have a nice voice, hard to tell.
(lol, look at my nifty line divider thing. I saved it as IMALINE!) Okay, that's the first three rows, putting me at 18/109. If I do anymore right now, this entry will be HUGE. So for a little recap; I love ChiiAyu. I shall keep an eye on fantasykingdom1227 and Rasubelly.
