YTC: BoC

I didn't know about this!! Thank you so much Rakkun & Himi, for letting me know about it!! Wow, so many chorus groups I've never heard before- this is such a great opportunity to! I don't pay the YTChorus nearly enough attention, but I suppose I don't always know exactly what's going on. I'll have to sit down and talk with someone about it~

There have been singing competitions hosted on YT before; this one seems really well put-together and I think it's got a lot of people's attention!! All the info you need is easy to obtain, the rules are laid out and the judging allows for listener imput while still going with the judges. Plus there is oodles of incredible singing to be heard and new choruses to discover!

Yes I do have my favorites- I about died when I realized that the latest release from Hana Pro was for this, and ZØDIAC is hosted by Liana. But I am looking forward to listening to all of the groups before I do any voting! I'm really happy that you get three votes; it would be awful to try and pick only one chorus!

For starters, the people at YTChorus that are running this have made a special (two part) video that's sort of an intro for the battle, and also goes on to display previews of all 30 contestants. I really love that they did this, because my internet hates to be nice when it comes to loading YT vids. Some days it's fine and other days it's slower than ever. This way I get to hear a bit from them all whilst bending my internet to my will!!

There isn't much else to put in this entry, since I haven't fully listened to any of the choruses yet. I'll probably make another entry for that. But I'd like to post all of the contestants here for all y'all to see/hear. Please check out this awesome Battle, since I know a lot of work is going into it!! I am going to display these in a random order (seriously, just closed my eyes, swished my mouse about and clicked on one of the links, lol.)

Dancer in The Dark by VocaLight [12] ~ Ohmygosh, I was just going to list everyone here, but after I heard this I couldn't resist saying something. This is beautiful!! I don't even know what to say, but I am downloading this right now. Gorgeous!

If you read the drop-down section, all of the participants wrote their own message, and they really get across how proud this group is and how hard they worked. VocaLight has recently gained three members, putting their overall total at 9. They are a tight knit family who likes to have fun singing together.

---I might write something about choruses that catch my attention, but don't take it to heart if I don't say anything about your chorus!! Only so much time in a day and I'd like to write more than just this entry, lol. Plus 30 is a lot to take in. (Note: The numbers are simply the position of each chorus in the list, found in the description of YTC's Part 1 & 2)

Only My Railgun by Generation:Y [30]
(I really like this one too)

Keep only one Pokemon by ChuDaysooChorus [15]

MIDI MASTER by ZØDIAC [27] ~ I love Buggy in the beginning!! The mixing, overall sound, quality, effects, etc- It's all brilliant!! The verses are outstanding, I love the rap bits, and this whole shebang basically rocks my world. The strong delivery of lines by the talented singers who took part is killer; everything about this is amazing!

Reading the drop-down, Liana talks about how they picked a hard song to mix, were offered original art, crash coursed their learning when it came to the animation, "but GOSH DARNIT, WE GOT GUMPTION!" And I totally agree! I completely adore this. And y'all will too, when you give it a go. Cause it's so worth a bajillion listens.

Lily Lily Burning Night by Penguin Beat [28] ~ I know I haven't been saying much about the animation, and I know a lot of work goes into that as well as the singing. But I guess I automatically pay more attention to the vocals, heh. In this chorus a few things jumped out at me, firstly being the awesome graphics + animation! Secondly, the singers all blend well together, and I really like how the audio turned out overall! And lastly, I spotted Sherry's username (animezirow), which excited me that I knew someone, lol! Y'all should have a listen, and also read the little messages from the singers in the drop-down section~

Miki Romantic Night by Backstage Chorus [5]
(This is really cute)

Rukaruka Night Fever by Shyclone Chorus [7]
(The chorus is so catchy!)

Sharing Our Fate To Death by VocaRhythm [4] ~ This is so pretty ;w; I never mentioned that the theme for the first round of this Battle is- Techo, Eurobeat, or Trance. Many of the songs picked are somewhat upbeat ~ This one is too, but it's very flowy and the main melodies aren't super upbeat. This Chorus is extremely enchanting on it! They all sound so smooth and lovely. Exquisite. I love it.

Bad Apple by Moe Chorus [3] ~ If you only watch the previews in the videos made by YTC, you're robbing yourself of the full experience. I pick a Chorus to listen to, and then while it's loading I find it's preview and listen to that. Sometimes I'm not really wowed, but then I go listen to the actual chorus cover and am shocked! That is what happened with this chorus.

Most of the previews are the chorus-part of the songs sung, and while that's not bad, sometimes a Chorus-group shines on a different part of the song and if you don't listen to the actual thing, you miss out on listening! The verses and pre-chorus' are smashing in this!! I love so so many of the solos, and many of the singers blew my mind a little. The girls are gorgeous, and I LOVE the low low manly voice you hear in the mix. I love this.

Mad Lovers by Seventh Echo Chorus [11]

LOL (Lots of Laugh) by Apple Chorus [29]

Minna Minna Night Fever by Zakhoriss Chorus [26] ~ I'll admit that it wasn't the vocals that made me want to write about this one, but something else entirely that I think is so cool! Some of you know that I love to read, books as well as online fanfiction (etc). I'm a slash addict, though I've never read anything in the Vocaloid section. When I read about how this chorus came together I was delighted! I'll copy & paste so y'all can read, but the cool-creation aside, I think this turned out terrifically!

"All of us are writers for fanfiction.net, most of us mainly in the Vocaloid section! We've all decided to take a little turn from writing and give singing a shot. This chorus brought along a lot of firsts for all of us...The majority of us have never been in any sort of chorus before...and some of us had never even sung in Japanese before this. The animator had never used Sony Vegas to make a video longer than 25 seconds before this, and the mixer had never mixed a chorus before...But somehow, it turned out pretty well, and I'm really really proud of everybody!"

The Wanderlast by Catalyst Chorus [20]

Step To You by Stalker Lovers (スターカーラブ) [9]

Love is War [Clubhouse Mix] by W.A.S.S [18] ~ The real win with this chorus for me is the solos (the beginning is gorgeous)! Individually, there are so many notes that are fantastically hit!! Plus the sound quality is awesome- the soloists can be heard clearly and the effects used are great! The group lines are a little less clear though marvelous all the same, but the solos are sensational. The raps rock, and I love love the verses!! I really like the guy lines in this, though the girls are equally as fabulous. Overall, it's a big bag of win.

Red Soul by Gorgeous Geek Gang Chorus [25] ~ I about hyperventilated when I saw some of the people who are in this! FAEFAE! RAKKUN!! MICHIMIRU! ;w; Why didn't I know about this?! I've heard of GGG before, but I didn't know they came out with this. This is spectacular!! I love the energy and power that this whole song is sung with! I also like the graphics! The rap part is freaking pwn, I love the verses and the chorus rocks hardcore! Rabu x a kajillion.

CMRevolution 「Celestial Mix」 by Celestial Chorus [13]
(Gorgeous! Epic!)

God Knows by MMChorus [22]
(Oh I like this one~)

Lily Lily Burning Night by Vocaloidism Chorus [6] ~ I got tingles while listening to the opening speaking parts in this! Persona did an awesome job, Biotoxia's vocalizing bit is lovely, and Krystal's "FIRE" is fierce!! I'm not in love with the song, but the amount of energy that everyone sings with really makes this an enjoyable chorus cover!! I also love Persona and Krystal's other speaking part, about 3/4's of the way through. The verses and pre-chorus are kickbutt, though the chorus is splendid sounding and lots of fun! This packs a punch!

Dream Fighter by HANAbira-gumi [19] ~ gkonwjeng *mind fry* This is beyond incredible. This song has grown on me and when I saw that this was Hana's choice I knew it was going to be epic. They've really outdone themselves with this chorus. I read the drop-down section on how all this came about (props to Rina) and I love that they just "jumped right into the deep end by entering this competition without any real prior experience" ~ I don't have to tell y'all that I'm downloading this. It's pure win.

God Knows by UTAU Dreams [14]

Just be Friends -NTMG Mix- by Crimson Chorus [1]

Give a Reason Remix + Trance by Bloody Chapter Chorus [21] ~ I love the graphics that shows each singers name! It makes me think...Fire Emblem LOL. Of RP-like video games and such. I love it. The beginning speaking part is so cool!! I love how it looks and sounds and how it's computer-like, and also that it introduces the singers! And on top of that, the vocals throughout the song sound tremendous!

There are 2-3 songs are sung more than once, so much that I can now say I am familiar with at least a few Vocaloid songs, lol. It's not awful that there are a few covers of the same song, but I like it when I load one of these videos and it turns out to be a song I haven't heard yet! Another thing that I haven't mentioned much; harmonies!! Props to the people who sang back-up vocals and harmonies in all of these 30 entries! They sound great in this! Overall- the chorus is my total favorite, but this is excellent in it's entirety.

God Knows -Euro Mix- by Epic Family Chorus [23] ~ The chorus of this song gets my heart pumping! It's fiercely fantastic. Magnificent! I seriously love it like crazy. I've listened to this cover like five times already, and I want the mp3 badly! The group had some technical problems, and so the animation they had planned didn't get used- but I can live without, I'm happy that they still managed to enter the battle, and shared their wonderful singing with us!!

Bad Apple by 134th Brigade Chorus [10]
(Awesome animation & singing)

Servant of Evil Endless Night by Vocalindo Chorus [24]
(So upbeat! I love the chorus in this!)

Megu Megu Romantic Fever -mashup-
by Banana Cream Chorus [16] ~ The link for this provided in the YTC Battle videos gives me an error message. I tried searching YT for the actual video and I didn't have any luck. So...I'm not really sure. But the 30 seconds you hear of it as a preview is extraordinary!! Breathing-taking! So so so so good! If anyone knows where I can hear all of this Chorus, let me know please!!

Love Is Meltdown by VocaMania [2] ~ This is flat out smashing! I was entertained just by watching the video at first, since the vocals don't fully start until almost a minute in. I was excited to see that Kuri~n and Kran are in this Chorus, I am familiar with their singing! The graphics are fabulous and the singing is beyond sensational! I love 1:36 *o* So pretty! I love the solos in this, and all of the smaller group parts as well as the full-cast lines are superbly ear-pleasing!

God Knows -Euro Version- by DSChorus [8]

Bad Apple by Infinity Chorus [17]

OMG that took longer than I planned lol. Holycrap, there are so many good covers!! So many awesome choruses! I've downloaded at least four, and am waiting on replies from other people I requested them from. I'm going to make a seperate YTC Battle playlist!! If I do end up voting, I'll have to think hard on who I will vote for.

Congrats to YTChorus on their anniversary, and I give'em props for this great idea + all the work they put into making it happen. Also thanks to all who are participating; I'm happy that everyone put their time and heart into this, sharing their singing with the rest of us. I really enjoyed listening, and this is only the first round!!

Y'all should check this Battle out~

Ana San GO Tan

It's time for some Kirarin Revolution / Milky Way / Koharu stuff!

Kusumi Koharu - Cerulean [lovablexkarupin]
Kikkawa Yuu - Pearl [Mewkiyo]
Kitahara Sayaka - Lilac [singingondemand]

Anataboshi by Amai (IroKokoro) / jkfnejkwfnejk this is epic. I love love love it. Downloaded it a while ago, but never got around to sharing with y'all. I've listened to it a ton between yesterday and today, lol. Ceru completely pwns Koharu's part, and though you don't hear Lilac or Pearl solo as much they both sound smashing! The group parts are incredible, the blending is so delicious. I love the subunit Amai! They have so many good releases.

Kusumi Koharu: Miya [TokyoStarx]
Kitahara Sayaka: Okie [DivaDagger]
Kikkawa Yuu: Sayuri [Lilacsilk28]

Tan Tan Tan by Pinky♡Team (PT) / This could use more energy, but the girls are still adorable and sweet! There is energy, but it's partially masked by the soft&sweetness of the dub and overall there could be more. It's also kind of quiet overall, I had to turn my computer's volume up to get a better listen. I do like that this trio works well together- they all have pretty voices that are sort of soft/gentle (idk the right word to use) and they sound really good on the group parts. I really like the Okie & Sayuri duets during the pre-chorus, the solos are swell, but the group parts throughout are my fave!

Hana☆Pro Natsu Matsuri 2010! I know I've mentioned them before, but I shall do so again! I really really like the tracks Happy☆彡 (sung by Tanpopo / juwibean) and Koi☆Kana (Kiku / froghaterk)! The Futari wa NS track is also really good!

Sansan GOGO! I love this song! And it's way way underdubbed. But I typed in the name and searched it on YT & found the above dubs of it!! I've heard SWEET Delight's version before (Totally Up! Project), but never Baby! Sta®'s version (Milky Star). I listened to both and y'all should too!

. . .

Oh sorry, this is just me. Falling off the face of the earth.

OMG. I can't say how sorry I am for neglecting this blog and all of the awesome people who take the time to read. My main reason is my wrist, but usually one thing leads to another, though I shall not ramble on about me. I'm doing alright and have two days off after today. So I was like; perfect time to get back to blogging, you crazy lady!

I am so behind I don't even know where to begin. I have a buttload of requests and projects to catch up on, but I'll figure something out. I always do, lol. But I feel I need to start things off with two dubs from two of my favorite projects. I love them to death firstly for being so amazing, but secondly for providing MP3s. Extra thanks to Buggy!

Heavy Rotation by KMT48 (HanaProject) / Because this is a new AKB48 song there was even more of a chance of any kind of video and/or material etc that involved the song in any way being taken down on YT. Kappa had a 10 second video linking the MP3 stream up for a little while before she made it private. But when I searched the title + KMT48 on youtube I discovered that Buggy (aka Kinsenka) had an acapella version up on her account, so I'm using that!

I've heard a lot of crazy kickbutt stuff from Hana in my time as a fan. I have my favorites from them, and this definitely makes the list. One of the best AKB48 dubs they've done! I still hold Kimi wa Pegusas and other HPD48 songs dear to my heart, and the re-released River cover was pretty extraordinary, but I am really really super loving this latest AKB dub.

A lot of the time I hear new songs as dubs before I ever (if I ever) hear the actual thing. Such is the case with this song, and after hearing Hana's version, I don't need to hear the real thing *clings to MP3 happily* I love the beginning "1 2 3 4" (Kinsenka? I think) and every single "I __ you" etc line flat out rocks!! The verses are lovely and I totally dig the blending on them as well as throughout the song. The chorus is fabulously jammin' and deliciously delightful! Pure complete win.

Cast (Appearance):
Narsha: Ada [adelutzah03]
Jea: Kran [kran117]
Miryo: Beth [bibblebobble629]
Ga-in: Hitomi [MegHitomi]

Sign by 예쁜 ♦ Diamond (IKPOP) / I first listened to this only yesterday (I know, shame on me) and at first I wasn't in love with the song, but I downloaded it today and I haven't been able to stop listening!! The song is really pretty, as is mentioned in the drop-down section, and these girls blow me away with the incredible job they did on it. Someone said in a comment "if it didn't say dub I wouldn't know it was...." and I so agree! The overall sound, vocals, quality, mixing and everything is freaking brilliant!!

I could spend forever trying to put into words how much I adore this dub, these girls, and IKPOP. I'm pretty sure I'll confuse who is who if I tried to break it down, so I won't. The rap parts are spectacular! The chorus is gorgeous!! I really like the part at 2:33 too, but every part of this song was utterly pwned by this group. Beautiful. Fantastic. Impressive. Epic.

--I will be listening to both of these dubs for a long time to come.

OH HAPPY DAY

"Welcome to the (completely unexpected) auditions for the 6th Generation of Hana Project! As some of you may know, HanaPro already has three 6th Generation members, but we are now looking for a final 4 to join them and complete their generation. That said, we are only looking for FOUR people, and each girl who is selected to join will be a full member of either Hana Project (Morning Musume) or SKR48 (AKB48).

This is the first audition in a long time in which we will not be taking any Tane (trainees), so we're looking for the best you can give us. As always, 90% of the audition is based on personality, however we've got an extra strong eye out this time around for top notch vocalists as well. Interested?"

OMGOSH!! SURPRISE! HANA AUDITIONS!

This is very unexpected! Not too long ago I blogged about how Hana wasn't going to be doing auditions (because at the time they weren't) and now they are! I have an undying love for Hana Project and finding out that they're adding more awesomeness to their ranks is exciting!

I had a lot of fun simply watching / listening to the auditions video, lol. It really gives you a taste of Hana's many groups and talents. Everything that you need to know can be found among the information in the drop-down section. Such as; requirements, the application form, and what you have to do to audition.

However, if you are confused or have questions you can check out their helpful FAQ. "Good luck! Round 1 closes on SEPTEMBER 12TH, and results will come out ASAP to both those who are selected to advance to Round 2, and those who do not make it. Happy auditioning!"

Concerts+

Because all of these projects have only come out with about one track since I last blogged about concerts, I decided I'd listen to all of them. Again, if I'm missing a concert feel free to shoot me a message about it and I'll be more than happy to start including it! I'd also like to take a moment to be...MP3 greedy. I know, I'm so bad!!

But I just love dubs so much that I wanna listen to'em all the time, without waiting for YT to be nice to me. Just *click* and TADA. My list is rather short this time, but I haven't really taken stock of what I want. I would LOVE to have an MP3 of MottoImouto's Summer Shuffle 2010! Part One (GuruGuru JUMP! & Tane), as well as Onna Be's two latest groupdubs (Sprinter & Perfect Girls).

Thanks to everyone who takes the time to please little ol' me~

Totally Up! Project
2010 Summer

Kamei Eri: Katie & Serenyty
Mitsui Aika: Yumiko
Kumai Yurina: Hinaki
Okai Chisato: Ameimi

Oujisama to Yuki no Yoru [Track 10] / Ohmygosh, I haven't watched any concert performances by the new Tanpopo, so this is a treat for me! Wow, I checked out the MP3 and it doesn't have any of the wotas and other sounds. I get that they're there in the dub cause it's a concert, but the sound is so much better on the MP3! You can really hear the girls, so I suggest that y'all give it a listen. You don't need to download if you don't want to, cause it's on box!

To prevent me from rambling on, I'm going to pick out my favorite solo by each girl. Starting with Hinaki; her 0:53 "ofuro ni hairou to" is short but splendid! Many of the solos in this song aren't very long, so there isn't always lots to say about them but that doesn't make them any less marvelous. Hinaki sounds very sweet on all of her lines! I like the "shitara" at 0:56 too, how the word is split up and sang slowly.

I don't know Katie and Serenyty apart, I can tell the difference between their voices, but I don't know who is who. The wonderful beginning solo ("TEREBI wo mitetara") and the lovely solo at 2:09 ("oujisama mitai na hito tte") are by faves from the two. Ameimi is sooooo cute!! I like all of her solos, like the short little "BAITO" at 0:59. My fave from her is tough- I like her at 1:18 and also at 5:53ish.

What I like most by Yumiko is actually really short; her "dakedo" at 1:23 is pretty! My first thought when hearing her was that she sounds kind of quiet / muffled. In the MP3 you can hear her much better though! I also like her 2:36 solo. The group lines in this are super lovely and sound terrific overall! The girls did a real nice job on this song~

Kireina Project Aloha!
~Summer~ 2010 Concert

Yajima Maimi: Saya (animefreakXDD)
Umeda Erika: Juri (Juwibean)
Nakajima Saki: Rei (RaReiRoo)
Suzuki Airi: Kimiko (KimiOkami)
Okai Chisato: Lily (therealallisons)
Hagiwara Mai: Okie (DivaDagger)

Shiritsu Kyougaku [Track 3] / The tracks in this KireinaPro's concert seem to be short but sweet, with none of them being over 2 minutes. But even with the length, all of the girls get a chance to sing- which makes me happy. Rei starts the song off and just blows your mind with her extreme kawaiiness. I adore her singing and think she did a smashing job!

0:29 is Juri, who sounds very pretty, and cute too! She also sings with emotion, as all of the girls do! That's it for the longer solos; following are Kimiko, Saya and Okie, they may not sing long but they certainly sing well and sound fabulous! Ohmy, I love the girls altogether on the chorus, especially the first line, "Anata wa donna kakkou shite kuru no" ~ but all of the group part is fantastic, and so is the dub!

Yoku Project Concert 2010
Summer ~*Ai wo misete kudasai*~

Tsugunaga Momoko: Mai (dblingchiu)
Natsuyaki Miyabi: Lizzie (Liz9419)
Suzuki Airi: Belly (Rasubelly)

Nakimushi Shounen [Track 9] / Whoa, is that the instrumental that sounds weird? Whatever it is, the vocals totally take your attention away from it almost instantly! The chorus of this song is so freaking catchy, I love how this trio sounds on it in the beginning. I really like them on "kono basho wo tobikoete ikou" ~

I love Belly's mature sound so much, she's super lovey and delivers wonderfully! Liz totally rocks her solos and sounds sensational! Mai is so cuuuute! She's much more than cute, but that's the first thing I think of when I hear her, cause really- she's adorable!! She sings terrifically in this. All of the girls have a moment of odd timing in the second verse, but it's no biggie.

For some reason, my head likes to mix up Lizzie and another dubber with a somewhat similar sound. But with this other person I often think "more energy" and so sometimes I make a mental note of that before I hear Liz, then I realize I'm confusing people, lol. Liz has got great energy! Mai has a more gentle energy, because of her cute yet quietish singing. It's more noticeable at different times.

Wow, this is a Momo & Miyabi dominated song, which is surprising 'cause Buono is usually pretty fair or if there is anyone with a few more lines it's Airi. But Belly has 4 solos while Mai and Liz has 7 each! I try and talk about cast members as evenly as possible, but it can also depend on line division- Belly doesn't have as much to comment on, but she did a swell job!! And all of the girls contributed to the delightful chorus!

PA-FE Kyuuto! 2010
KIRAMEKI SweetZ
Summer Concert

Cast: Awai, Aiko, Ai

Pira! Otome No Negai [Track 6] / CClyrics / Whenever I think of this song, the duet by Kohaku and Himawari comes to mind. Sadly the video is no longer up, but AHA HA HA I have the MP3 that I downloaded ages ago. I love being able to listen to stuff I like, even if something happens to it. I can pop the MP3 on my box account if anyone is interested, just let me know! But on to this dub!

"Yes we decided to sing the crazy tongue twister song" and a tongue twister it is indeed! With those "PARAPIRAPORAPORAPPO" and "PIRAPPOPPOPPO" parts. But they're really fun!! Geesh what a spectacular job this trio of tremendous gals did! The whole beginning part is awesome and spot on, with oodles of emotion and good pronunciation!

0:37 is Awai! I always have good things to say about her- she's fantastic as ever in this! Cute + pretty + & peppy! I wish the volume of solos was a little louder; it'd be nice to hear the girls more. 0:50 is Aiko with her strong and lovely vocals, followed by the fun & epic "WO AH OH..." by all three. 0:57 is Ai, who is utterly adorable. I like her "Setsunakute"

More solos- Aw (1:04) & Ak (1:11). And then it's another round of...would it be considered the chorus? lol idk. The tongue twister followed by a short solo, part of the song. The first time (0:23) Ak & Ar had the solos, and this time (1:20) Ak & Aw have take turns on them. I'm going to skip over the magnificent solos and the kickbutt "PARAPIRA..." part from 1:33 to 2:57, and jump into the solos thereafter;

YAY we get to hear the girls sing the one of the main parts individually! I have to say that I like Airu the most. The melody is higher, lower, higher, lower- Airu really sounds great singing both and delivers well! That's not to say I don't like the other girls; Awai and Aiko both sound excellent! As listeners, we all have different things that catch our attention, eh? The rest of the dub is mainly more group-sung tongue twisters, with a few solos here and there. I really enjoyed this!!

*EDIT: it was Ai, not Airu. I got confused because the CClyrics said it was Airu, and it was not noted anywhere in the drop-down section that Ai was covering. So without such a note, I put two and two together, and figured it was Airu in both the castlist and lyrics, simply shortened to Ai in the cast. Thanks to Airu for setting me straight!

Hana Project
Natsu Matsuri 2010

MORNING MUSUME: Sayuri, Ajisai, Kanna
Suiren, Kisagi, Kiku, Aoi, Kuchinashi, Chuurippu

BERRYZ KOBOU: Himawari, Kiri, Kikyo,
Lilmenchi, Rina, Nadeshiko, Asagao

C-UTE: Tsubaki, Ibara, Hinageshi
Chuurippu, Kuchinashi, Asagao, Rina

Souda! We're Alive [Track 32] / I've never been a big fan of this song. So even though the Hana girls sound amazing, this dub doesn't float my boat a ton. I do like parts of the song, and love the emotion that it's all sung with. 0:29 is fun, and 2:00 & 2:38 are pretty. The solos are outstanding, the group parts beautiful yet packed with punch, and overall this turned out awesome!

HP RRs + HPD48

At the end of July, Hana Project consecutively re-released a number of AKB48 dubs by their HP All ☆ Stars group. They're dubs that the project "originally posted with PVs and had to hide in order to avoid getting our account deleted." (Kappa, leader).

Five of the seven singles are from late 2009, so it's reasonable that the sound of their recently sung / mixed / produced dubs is going to differ from HP 4 to 11 months ago. I think they've sounded amazing from the moment I first discovered them (which was because of Kiri aka Rae), they just keep getting better and better!!

Now, moving on to the tracks! I'm just going to list them for y'all. In the image up there, the dubs are listed in order (left to right, top to bottom) of oldest release date to the latest release date. But I'll include that info and more as I go~

HanaDedicationAlbum48

I'm always catching up with what the Hana girls have sung, but happily so. I download my fave stuff whenever I can for easy listening and then play them until my mediaplayer (if it were capable) hates me, lol. And if y'all remember, HanaPro is currently working on their HPD48 dedication album!! I can never get enough of the dubs they've already released for it!

And since we're on the subject;

I will admit that when it comes to HPD48, I went for the song that I knew right off (plus Iiwake Maybe was the first AKB song I remember hearing, so it's somewhat special to me). Then I gave the others a listen and fell in love with them one by one.

This dub I downloaded along with the rest, but it took a while to grow on me. I love the vocals, but the song wasn't an instant like. I put it on my HPD playlist and would cycle through the songs and after a bit I'd find myself singing "HAATO gata UIRUSU ni" ~ with Aoi, Ibara and Kanna's voices filling my mind.

After I starting thinking today; hmm I wanna blog about Hana soon- I was debating between the re-releases or something else by HP. And then when I was looking to see if there was any info on the re-releases on Hana's blog, I came across Aoi's entry, at the end of which she said, "Speaking of AKB48, there’s still the HPD48 dedication album that’s in the works. Once it’s all finished, I will write a massive blog post on it." And that was that!

Kojima Haruna: Ibara [ chiiayu ]
Kawasaki Nozomi: Kanna [ tokidokihaato ]
Oshima Mai: Aoi [ chocolateblakberri ]

Heart Gata Virus
/ Oh my gaaaawsh, these girls are SO GOOOOD! What would I do without Hana, seriously?! I feed my addiction in some way every day, and maybe suppliers are not cool people in other situations, but in this one; Hana's welcome to provide me with the means to a new high any time.

Ibara has the first solo, and boy is she ear-dazzling!! Following is the goddess of all things kawaii who just rocks your world; Aoi! Then at 0:20 it's the mega lovely+adorable Kanna, I really like her "nazuita" ~ In the verses, each girl gets two solos- I'm glad you get a good chance to hear them all! The rest of the solos in the first set of lines are; Ao (0:26), Ka (0:29), and last is Ibara, I love her pretty "datta no ni" at 0:35.

The pre-chorus in this song is awesome! Aoi sings it the first time around at 0:38, and it's all too fantastic to only mention one part of it, because I love her every word!! kjfehkfj kfjhekjf. 0:49 is Ib/Ka, who sound wonderful as a pair! Both of their lines are terrific! They lead into the chorus; YAY blending raburabu! Gaaaah, these girls totally PWN this song and it's melodies!

I love how epically the chorus turned out! Every second of the vocals is brilliant! Again, it's hard to pick out parts to mention when the whole thing's spectacular! Though I'll say that I adore the "nai wa" at 1:11. Afterwards, it's on to the second verse; I wish the girls didn't have the same exact lines. I really like the endings of the third lines, and you got to hear Kanna and Ibara on that part, but not Aoi.

But regardless of whoever has whichever lines it's all deserving of, oh I don't know, about a kajillion sparkly stars!!! Solos are Ib (1:37, 1:54ish) and Ao (1:40, 1:48ish). I like Kanna's "iru kedo" (1:46) as well as her 1:51ish line. On the kickbutt pre-chorus is Ao/Ka (2:12ish), who sound fabulous together! And then the remainder of the dub is mostly chorus, all except for the splendid speaking part at 2:49 by Ibara.

This dub is busting at it's pretty little seams with emotion and excellent singing from this trio of epic exceptionally talented girls who enchant your ears in such a way that you can't help but enjoy listening. Give it a listen y'all.

Poll + Concerts

YAY POLL TIME! Blabodu went for so long without one because I fail at thinking things up sometimes, lol. But with it being summer and quite a few concerts going on, I randomly decided to make a poll about them! Thank you so so much to the 75 people who took the time to click!!

As you can see from the results, about 57% are participating in only one or two concerts. I'm sure the amount of free time each person have varies, depending on different factors; other dubbing related stuff, work, school stuff over the summer, or perhaps other plans. But even so; about 22% said they are participating in 3-4 concerts- I'll bet they are busy bees!

12 of the 75 choose the "No" option, probably cause they A) aren't in a project that is doing a summer concert B) don't have the time, or C) because they chose not to. With the last choice I didn't think there would be much of a percentage, because 5 is quite a few concerts! Only 3 people selected it when voting. Props to them for taking on such a load!

I think if I didn't blog but dubbed instead, I would probably be the first option; my job would prevent me from doing more than that. Before summer started I was forewarned by a dubber that the season would probably be busy, with a lot of people free from school and concerts starting up. I am and have been very behind, but I chug along like a happy little steam boat. I'm hoping for some time off in October or November though~

And while we're on the subject...

I am going to try and stay on top of concert releases. I haven't listened to many of these, a few here and there, but I'll try to in my own time. I'd mostly like to acknowledge that I've been seeing them released and to share them all with y'all! It'll be the same set up as last time. If I don't list a concert you're in and you'd like me to add it to this list, I'm more than happy to. You only need to let me know!

Something that crossed my mind last month or something; have any of you (project / concert leaders) thought of putting the MP3s of your concert once it's completed into a zip file for download? I would definitely be willing to give those a shot, even with my sometimes lame internet, lol. If not, even simple individual MP3s make me ridiculously happy~

"Gotta recharge my batteries"

*Before I start writing about more dubs, I wanted to say thanks to the people who read my Rambles entry and sent me MP3s ! ! ! Checking my inbox and seeing that I have something that I already know I love simply waiting for me to download it makes me super excited and incredibly happy.

I've already listened to HimeLand's Doki Doki song a ton and I downloaded it only 1-2 hours ago. Kirei no Bijoux's Furare Pattern and HanabiPro's Natsu DOKI Lipstick (Fuyumi solo) are also near the top of my playlist, plus the majority of the more recent releases I mentioned & already had the MP3s of.

*Also EGAH yesterday was such a long day. I worked like 14 hours. I ate dinner at 10-something. But I always try and stay positive, LOL, I worked with these two girls and all day I was staying optimistic and trying to get them to be too. And in the end it worked! Cause I ended up with today off!

Whenever I'm trying to stay positive, a certain dub comes to mind- Hinagiku's Be Happy! Koi no Yajirobee (Hana Project); "BE HAPPY soushisouai ga ii..." I'm listening to it right now actually, since talking about it made me want to listen. It's an awesome dub~

*And lastly my god-sister is over again today. I slept in some after yesterday, and when I came out and got online she came over and wanted to listen to more videos, lol. I've had Our Songs by Shiruku Project loaded on my computer for a few days and so we played that full screen. Then I showed her how you can chipmunk stuff in audacity, which she giggled about.

I talked her into singing something and letting me record her. It's short and she's kind of soft, cause she's shy about singing, but it's a song she learned at school. My favorite part is the "gotta recharge my batteries" part, it totally made me lol. Thought I'd share just for fun. (LOL wrong link. Box isn't being nice to me, so I'll put it in later)

& OMG Faefae mixed it to music for me ;w; (ILY FAE) It's a rock version of the instrumental too. I let her listen to it and was like, "That's you! My friend did it!" We're going to show her mom when she gets here.

2010 Concerts

I don't have enough time before bed to really do any actual writing. I need to make sure I don't stay up too late since, sadly, this is the last day of my layoff and I go back to work tomorrow. Something that I've been wanting to do, but haven't gotten around to, is making a sort of status update entry about the currently ongoing concerts.

The video displayed for each concert will be the latest track released. Then all the tracks will be listed in order after that- to lessen confusion I'll bold the last track's number as an reminder. Not too long ago I did an entry about the first 20 tracks of HanaPro's concert; you can find that here. I've written about a few other concerts semi-recently;

Milky Star : [x]

Kireina Project : [x]

Yoku Project : [x]

Hopefully I didn't mix up any of the links in this, cause they're all over the place. If I did, feel free to tell me. I was going to include download links in this, for those that provided them. But that's more work and I need to get this done. I'm sorry if I missed your project's concert. I surfed through all 80+ of my subs and this is what I found. You can always send the info my way~
