MOA AK

Team Haru / Team Day / Team Big Bang (Mp3 Downloads) / Finally!! It feels like I've been putting this entry off for forever. But no more!! Let's get things rolling with Haru Haru. This is one of the first Big Bang songs I recall listening to, and it's one of my favorites besides Koe wo kikasete. I have to say that I favored the third group, TBB - though all of the groups did an awesome job!

I have listened to this so much lately. I've been listening to all of the AK dubs I have downloaded a lot. Firstly because of song choice; they're feeding my love for kpop. But also because their dubs are good! As for this dub; zero pitchiness, great energy on verses & solos, amazing raps/upbeat-talk-singing.

The chorus could have used a little more umph! Blending was pretty good though. I love how it's (mainly/all ?) girls singing the lower parts; they sound so flipping good!! I also really liked the talking part in the beginning and the "Oh, girl, I cry, cry. You’re my all, say goodbye" parts. This dub is super & addicting~

A bit of an older dub (11.25.2009) but I've been going through all the pages in the Personal Project's section; I'll get to newer stuff eventually. The casts for the TH and TD can be found in the release's thread. Don't overlook them just 'cause I favored TBB! Props to all the AK members who participated in this release!


Hitomi no Screen (MP3 Download) / Aha! This is a newer-ish one (04.06.2010). "I had a little trouble mixing 10 people so it's not that great but I tried my best." Well yeah, totally understandable. Ten people! It turned out pretty darn good! I adore this song.

Bah, sleepiness just hit me randomly. I can barely keep my eyes open. But I shall continue! I'm kind of glad I didn't have to choose between groups this time. It's a cool idea, but sometimes I feel bad admitting that I liked one more than the other. lol, imadork.

There are some off things about this dub, but I love it all the same. The verses and other parts are nice, but I really liked the chorus! Only thing would be that it could use a sinch more energy. Not the best dub of this song I've heard, but actually the first groupdub of it. And overall it's enjoyable~


Team So Nyu / Team Shi Dae (MP3 Downloads) / I didn't have to choose this time either, wanna know why? Cause on a whim I took the two tracks, opened'em in Audacity and exported them as the same MP3 & the result it epic!

The two groups blend together without even trying!! All of the solos became duets, and surprisingly; they all turned out really good! I was afraid people might accidentally clash on notes or something, but no! The chorus is AMAZING. I love love love these dubs, and the sweet bubbliness of this song makes it even better. Everyone sounds awesome.

Bah, I need to go to bed. I'm too sleepy. But I have the next two days off!!

I love dubbing. It's so epic. And I'm so glad that I've now got SnM, Kaori Basket and Asian Karaoke to explore and listen to! Thanks again to Jess! And also thank you to Kristy for sharing her wonderful forum with me. Oh my gosh, where to start?!

I don't really know anything about AK, and I couldn't find any kind of 'About Us' sort of page/thread. They do have a Master List of members, and though I don't have an exact number- let's just say that there are well over 100 listed.

I love that box.net is the host of choice, cause I love the preview feature! The majority of releases from AK have more than one team putting out a dub of the same song at the same time. Kind of AKB-like, with the teams. But yeah, my computer isn't always the fastest when it comes to downloading, so it's great that I can listen to all the versions and then download whichever one afterwards.

I've looked around a little bit, but the place I ended up in is the Personal Project's section. I'm so excited at the amount of Kpop I've seen!! I'll do some more exploring later, and maybe ask Kristy some questions, but for now I'm going to dive right into share time!


Team 1 / Team 2 / Team 3 (MP3 Downloads) / As the image above says so colorfully, it's the Seoul song. It's so freaking catchy! "S-E-O-U-L" - I previewed the three version, and all of them were fabulous! Some parts I liked more in one dub than the other, but overall everyone of these lovely people did a great job!

I downloaded Team 1's version cause it just rang my bell. I'm sure other people may have liked another version better; it's not a contest. You can see all of the different cast lists in the release's thread. I'd be a dead fishy if I commented on every single team every time I covered a single. So I hope no one is offended. Y'all are all fantastic!

I know I've been saying it a lot lately, but I can't help it; I love this dub!! kjfnebfwbfewf. So many amazing voices! I heard some kick-butt solos, and the group parts were splendid. This dub is like cherry confetti cake for my ears! If they could eat, I'd be spooning it in.


Team I Miss You / Team I Need You (MP3 Downloads) / A million points for song choice!! I LOVE this song. I'm not a big fan of After School's other music, but this song won by heart the first time I heard it. I adore the raps, and the different melodies. It's epic!!

As for the dubs; it was really hard for me to choose between the teams. I really really liked IMY's beginning, it so soooo good. Though, in the rest of the song there were lines misssing, and some minor timing/pitching too. But!! Don't just focus on that. The rap parts were super & there were some awesome solos/parts! I really enjoyed listening and I totally give all of the participating AKians props.

One just rang my bell louder than the other, and in this case it was the INY team. The cast for IMY can be found in the release's thread. I loooove this. It's flippin' lovely. Everyone in this version sounds magnificent! My brain is too fried by it's epicness to continue rambling and simultaneously making sense, lol. Definitely worth a listen! *brain washes while chanting 'download download'*
