[Beautiful Angels Normal Girls]

Okay yay! It's BANG time! Work was okay today, but then I had a real crappy hour after I got home. Then I ate food, got a blanket to snuggle with and plunked myself down in front of my wonderful computer, so I could blog for you lovely people. And I'm going to start off with my interview with BANGProDubs~

AYA: The first thing to my mind when I think BANG is NU ABO, because it was the group's debut. Why did y'all choose that song?

AYUCHI: The truth is that nu ABO wasn't our debut, only our first song uploaded to our new YT account because the old one was deleted by copyright...Our real debut was Bambina by NEWS and soon I'm going to reupload all the songs we had in the other account for our first aniversary like group.

AYA: On your channel profile it's noted that your name stands for 'Beautiful Angels Normal Girls'. Is there something special behind that? Who came up with it?

AYUCHI: When I was talking with Miyo about creating the group, we wanted to choose a name that's easy to remember but also for it to have another meaning, like the names of our dear groups NEWS & KAT-TUN.

And after some failed names, BANG came to my mind because I wanted to create a group with lovely and different voices that sounded like angels (or something like that) together- so we're like Beautiful Angels when we're singing but the truth is that we're a group of Normal Girls that love to sing and put all our effort into making it the best we can.

AYA: What would you say is the goal of your group; Are you set on making progress as a group, or is your main goal to just have fun? Somewhere inbetween?

AYUCHI: Our goal? We don't have any goal but to have fun together... mmm but I think that our big goal could be to reach the heart of the people who listen to our songs because we put all our heart in them.

AYA: How often do you think you'll release dubs? Y'all have five up at the moment, and I was wondering (especially with school in the way now) if there is a game plan for releases?

AYUCHI: We usually release a single with 2 songs and 1 egg's song for month, and sometimes special songs like nu ABO with some of us in. The last month we didn't release any new single because now we're working on a bigger project and it takes much time to release. So our release amount...depends on the free time we have to release extra songs or not.

AYA: Recently there has been a 'Sakura' theme going-on. I think it's really cool and like the majority of the songs chosen. Props to whoever came up with the idea. Will there possibly be any more themes?

AYUCHI: The Sakura theme is a idea that came to my mind and the girls of the group (or like I sometimes say, my angels) liked it so we did it ^^ And, like the Sakura theme,...more themes could come again or any of my angels can propose another theme in the future.

AYA: Anything interesting you'd like to add? Or any news?

AYUCHI: I'm proud with our group style because we are a group that changes the style of music (we sing) all the time, and not like the usual in the fandub groups that only sing jpop or kpop. It was our first idea when I created the group with Miyo and we're making it happen. And now I have to say a great news and it's that we're working on our first concert!!

We have some problems with that because some of our members couldn't take part on it and we have to cover them in all the songs, but soon we're going to release it so wait for it. And another great news is that next month we're going to celebrate our first anniversary as a group ^o^ I have to say too that if anyone has any proposals for the group we're really open. And finally thank you Aya for being interested in us.

Recently Ayuchi has started doing what she mentioned; re-uploading previously released dubs to the current BANG channel. I originally got her reply last week, and right after that Resonant Blue and MY BOY could be found among the other uploads, including the 'Sakura' themed ones also mentioned. Of the two I happen to like Resonant the most~

I really really BANG's cover of Sakura Girl! So much that I pleaded for the mp3 and now savor it. Also, the debut of the new account -nu ABO- is definitely worth a listen!! It's so gooooood! It's ridiculous that this group has so little subscribers! Check them out, y'all!

Misc

Tsugunaga Momoko: Shinju
Natsuyaki Miyabi: Aurora
Suzuki Airi: Chii

Hoshi no Hitsuji Tachi by Saiko-kyuu (AtarashiHappyCharm) / Frick, I love this song. So when I saw that AHC had dubbed it, I just had to write something about it. If there was a download link, I'd be clicking it in a heartbeat. This dub is so so so sweet!! So lovely and cute and pretty. I can't say enough good things about it. I love Shinju's part, she sings it fantastically! And Chii & Aurora sound so awesome on the overlapping chorus'! Plus Chii's solos are splendid! This is definitely worth a listen!!!

Ryo: Ayuchi (AyuchiTatsu)
Massu: Miyo (Miyoxan)
Koyama: Sora (beckylovese7en)
Shige: Kurumi
Tego: Anari (TeppeichanWaT)
Yamapi: Mirii

Sakura Girl by BANG (BangProDubs) / CClyrics / kjnejkwfnew the group parts in this are brilliant! And that's what makes up the majority of this dub! The solos are wonderful as well, but I really really love the blending. This group is beautiful together. I especially like the "sakura"s at the end of the chorus' ~ And I really like the way they sound on this song- I'm new to it, but BANG sings it very well. This deserves a thumbs up *gives it one* Lovely.

Ai, Saya, Rei, Raii, Kate,
Mari, Rei, Chiyo, Daniel

Inshouha Renoir no you Ni by Twilight Kisu & Amai Natsu (CharmsProject) / CClyrics / I LOVE the "Dakishimete"s in this!! The verses rock! The chorus' are flat out fabulous too! The overall emotion, energy and smexy-attitude is magnificent! Some girls have it more than others, and some parts of the song have it more than others, but overall, I think everyone did great!

I love hearing all the different voices on the solos, and then hearing them come together on the little trios and duets. Charms' Koi no Jubaku will always be special to me, but I really enjoy them as a project and have fun listening to everything by them. I'm not a huge fan of this song but these two subunits sound terrific!

Risako: Kanny [kannychan21]
Aika: Eun Mi [eunmijjang]
Saki: Ayuna [AyunaDaisuki]
Yurina: Nae [NaeHoshiChan]

School Days by Tamago! (HanaEmiProject) / I had to turn my computer's volume up to listen to this. The girls aren't quiet, perhaps the audio's volume level was? I don't think anyone is crazy about Guardians4- in that they haven't had a lot of good singles. But even though they aren't my favorite, I find their music charming and catchy. Like this song!

I've learned the first half of it, so I was mouthing along with these four as they sang. And though there are little things that can be picked at, I think they did a swell job! Eun Mi is a little noticeable in the chorus' and everyone could use a bit more umph! But the blending and pronunciation are great, and I didn't notice a difference in mics (but note that I'm not a mixer, lol). I think this is darling and delightful overall!

Yeah, this is how we do it! [SB Request]

One week ago BANGProDubs bulletined "New account!!!" which leads me to think that there was a different YT account prior to this? Not much information is provided, but you can tell that English is not the first language for the majority of it's members; thus, the small description is listed in two languages (English & Spanish, I think?) on the channel-

"We are a group of girls, BANG (Beautiful Angels Normal Girls) who love to sing in japanese and korean." Also, if you click on the link provided as their website, Avexland forums is all non-English as well. I wish I could find out more info off of it, but since I can't, perhaps I'll just ask'em sometime in the near future.

The current member count listed on their profile totals at 12, and there's also 5 eggs. Only one dub has been released, though I don't know what BANG's release history (prior to this account) is like. Until I get more info, I'll just go ahead and jump right into their first dub;

Anari [TeppeichanWaT]
Ayuchi [AyuchiTatsu]
Miyo [Miyoxan]
Miko [MikoKumi]
Nari [Narivox]
Meychun [meyxyesungie]

nu ABO / CClyrics / This is so sexy incredible, hardcore epicness. The overall sound is intensely ear pleasing and I couldn't help but groove along in my chair as I listened. I've already played through this a dozen times or so and I don't even like this song very much; addicting, this is! I totally gave it a thumbs up and if there was a dl link, the MP3 for this would be on my computer by now.

Ayuchi's opening "Hey~" is so gooood, ohmygosh. 0:11 is Miyo, and I adore her "unni"s, they have just the right amount of cuteness. And then her second & last lines are so...urgwah! so soild and well deliver, like her "deuleobwa" ~ 0:21 is Ayuchi, I really like the cuteness of her higher note on "jungmal yeobbeo" as well, and her "geureodamyun dwae" right after is smexy. Frick!; all of the girls have strong vocals, good energy/emotion, and sing it like their pros.

Miko (0:32) has a lovely mature sound that's delicious and Meychun (0:37) is kawaii with attitude. "Mystery mystery" ~ chorus at 0:42 and it's killer. I'm loving the way this group of gals sound together! Ohmy, one of my favorite parts of this dub are the "Na na na na"s LOL yes. They aren't even lyrics or anything, but they are PERFECT. I'm wowed by how awesome and like-the-real-thing they sound.

1:11 is Nari, geesh she's got such passion too, her solo is fabulous! Dubs like this are addicting to listen to because it's fun to hear people get so into singing. Following Nari is Miko (1:24) and Meychun (1:32ish), both rockin' their solos once more. From 1:43 to 2:12 is more kickbutt chorus & "na na na na"s. And then it's a different melody that I don't care for much really, idk. Mi, Ay and An (in that order, starting at 2:13) all sound excellent, but this part of the song doesn't ring my bell.

I love Anari at 2:40!! Her "Yes, this is how we do it our love f(x)!" (etc) lines are pure win. This dub just screams WE ARE THE SHIZNIZ, with all the sexiness and epic attitude. I like Nari's 2:53 solo, especially her "eoddeokhae" ~ Ayuchi's following solo is...interesting, lol. Very energetic and fun along with a bit of funkiness. The rest of the dub is all chorus & "na"s. I love Nari at 3:36 and Anari at 3:41. I super enjoyed listening to this!! Nice fresh start for BANG~
