[MS] ♥ Star Shuffle Extravagenza ♥ BabyStar ♥

Ohmygosh *o* I listened to the first track of this concert and it completely BLEW MY MIND. I have the feeling I am going to end up downloading this entire thing, because Milky Star is sounding SPECTACULAR! I don't even know what to say. If I tried to blab in detail on the opening track I don't think I'd get very far, cause I'd be grasping for words.

GURU GURU JUMP is AMAZING

I now super love this song, thanks to Motto Imouto. So I was excited right off the bat when I saw that it was the first track. When the singing actually started it made me so crazy happy. The blending is FANTASTIC, the chorus PWNS LIKE WOW, the solos are splendid and the girls sound so so so so cute pretty adorable lovely ! ! ! I would have liked a little more energy, for some individually, cause this song calls for it big time. But I'm still exceeding delighted and immensely OHYES about this dub! Listen to it, now. Please. The girls deserve it.

I am not even going to listen to the second track right now, because then I would get sucked into listening to the six parts of the concert they've released already and I wouldn't get any more blogging done cause of my fangirling LOL. I am going to take it one at a time, stretch out my enjoyment so I don't choke on my own saliva while in awe + happiness + fangirl mode. But for kicks I am going to put all of the videos thus far released in this entry.

Pay attention to this STARtastic concert, y'all.

I peeked ahead while getting the codes and stuff and OMG OMG OMG OMG! First GURU and then LOVE&PEACE?!?!? THE EGG VERSION?!?! I love you Milky Star. Morning Curry too. Freaking Goodness, what kickbutt song choices. I am even more excited now.

Gamusharara by Baby! Sta® / I missed this one! I did a MilkyWay etc entry not too long ago and at the time I couldn't really find a groupdub of this song. This one must have not turned up in the search results or something, but I saw it on MS' channel the other day, freaked out happily and loaded it. I am new to the song but I totally love it!! It's different than the other songs by this H!P unit and has cool melodies!

Kusumi Koharu: Valentine [MS Gen.5]
Kitahara Sayaka: Miyako [MS EGGs]
Kikkawa Yuu: Dcgoddess [MS EGGs]

This is such an awesome dub!! I am downloading it right now~ I love love the verses, they turned out so good! I adore Valentine on Koharu's part, she's so cute+lovely and her held notes are splendid! You don't hear Miyako & Dc anywhere but the verses, which is lame, but they are marvelous and contributed to the epic group parts!!

The chorus' are fabulous and the girls all sound super! The "SHARARA"s are a little repetitive but at the same time catchy, adorable and fun! I think the pronunciation is really good overall (I adore the "RUN RUN RUN"s) and I'm not noticing anything glaring wrong with the mixing. I am becoming addicting to this *plays again* I love all parts of the dub!! It makes me a little sad 'cause this is Baby! Sta®'s last single.

Ana San GO Tan

It's time for some Kirarin Revolution / Milky Way / Koharu stuff!

Kusumi Koharu - Cerulean [lovablexkarupin]
Kikkawa Yuu - Pearl [Mewkiyo]
Kitahara Sayaka - Lilac [singingondemand]

Anataboshi by Amai (IroKokoro) / jkfnejkwfnejk this is epic. I love love love it. Downloaded it a while ago, but never got around to sharing with y'all. I've listened to it a ton between yesterday and today, lol. Ceru completely pwns Koharu's part, and though you don't hear Lilac or Pearl solo as much they both sound smashing! The group parts are incredible, the blending is so delicious. I love the subunit Amai! They have so many good releases.

Kusumi Koharu: Miya [TokyoStarx]
Kitahara Sayaka: Okie [DivaDagger]
Kikkawa Yuu: Sayuri [Lilacsilk28]

Tan Tan Tan by Pinky♡Team (PT) / This could use more energy, but the girls are still adorable and sweet! There is energy, but it's partially masked by the soft&sweetness of the dub and overall there could be more. It's also kind of quiet overall, I had to turn my computer's volume up to get a better listen. I do like that this trio works well together- they all have pretty voices that are sort of soft/gentle (idk the right word to use) and they sound really good on the group parts. I really like the Okie & Sayuri duets during the pre-chorus, the solos are swell, but the group parts throughout are my fave!

Hana☆Pro Natsu Matsuri 2010! I know I've mentioned them before, but I shall do so again! I really really like the tracks Happy☆彡 (sung by Tanpopo / juwibean) and Koi☆Kana (Kiku / froghaterk)! The Futari wa NS track is also really good!

Sansan GOGO! I love this song! And it's way way underdubbed. But I typed in the name and searched it on YT & found the above dubs of it!! I've heard SWEET Delight's version before (Totally Up! Project), but never Baby! Sta®'s version (Milky Star). I listened to both and y'all should too!

2010 Concerts

I don't have enough time before bed to really do any actual writing. I need to make sure I don't stay up too late since, sadly, this is the last day of my layoff and I go back to work tomorrow. Something that I've been wanting to do, but haven't gotten around to, is making a sort of status update entry about the currently ongoing concerts.

The video displayed for each concert will be the latest track released. Then all the tracks will be listed in order after that- to lessen confusion I'll bold the last track's number as an reminder. Not too long ago I did an entry about the first 20 tracks of HanaPro's concert; you can find that here. I've written about a few other concerts semi-recently;

Milky Star : [x]

Kireina Project : [x]

Yoku Project : [x]

Hopefully I didn't mix up any of the links in this, cause they're all over the place. If I did, feel free to tell me. I was going to include download links in this, for those that provided them. But that's more work and I need to get this done. I'm sorry if I missed your project's concert. I surfed through all 80+ of my subs and this is what I found. You can always send the info my way~

MS FTW

It's been too long since I last blogged about MS, about a month ago! They've released five dubs since! But just looking at their releases on my subs list, about half way down is as far as I've ever listened. I'd like to backtrack a little bit before I get into their latest stuff.

MS has put out over 100 dubs since their start, and they're good dubs. Almost half of their total are from the three concerts they've released; two winter and one summer. 2009 Summer Wonderland: THE CELEBRATION (May, 17 tracks), 2008 Winter Wonderland: Todoke! Fuyu no Koe (Dec, 19 tracks), and most recently;

Winter Wonderland 2009 Concert:
Kira Kira Shining Star Part

Shiroi Tokyo * [1/17] ~ Ohemgee, the blending is EPIC!! I want to make love to the group parts, and the solos are smashing! I'm going to keep this short and sweet, but I figured I'd toss up the video for the opening of this concert for y'all. I don't know about the concert as a whole (cause I haven't listened to all of it), but going by this beginning, it's definitely worth a listen!!

Now, as for the rest of the concert ~ I just added a space every four tracks so it wouldn't be one long list, all grouped together. Easier on the eyes. And as for the little *'s - they seem to be the more favored tracks (based on views, thumbs up, etc). Not necessarily the best tracks though. In order to form your own opinion, you'll just have to have a listen for yourself;

[2] JUMP!
[3] Dokusenyoku *
[4] Inshouha Renoir no You ni
[5] Guru Guru JUMP!

[6] Ikimasshoi! *
[7] Chokotto LOVE
[8] SHINING Itoshiki Anata
[9] EVERYDAY YEAH! Kataomoi

[10] HOW DO YOU LIKE JAPAN?
[11] Tsuugaku Vector ☂ *
[12] YEAH! Meccha Holiday
[13] Sugao FLAVOR

[14] Special Generation
[15] Mirakururun Grand Purin!
[16] Shock Me vs. Devil or Angel
[17] I Wish *

And now for the more recent stuff!

Solo (In order of hearance):
Michi [EGGs] (Suzuki Airi)
Valentine [MS Gen.5] (Tanaka Reina)
Mari [EGGs] (Natsuyaki Miyabi)

First Kiss (EGGs Promo!) / Frick this is AWESOME!! Yes yes, I've heard this song dubbed so much I'm surprised I'm not singing it in my sleep. But this is one spectacular dub!!! I keep wanting to listen to it again. It's addicting. The girls sound so so so SO good! I adore all of their solos as well as when they sing together. The blending is spot on, and the overall delivery is terrific! I'm considering asking for the MP3.

Solo (In order of hearance):
Mitsuki, Mari, Michi,
Molly, Yume, Bunbun

21ji made no Cinderella (KyanDiz) / D'AW KAWAII! I've always liked this song, I can't help it. It's just so bubbly, fun, upbeat and cute. I was singing along and stuff, lol. Sugarfritters, these are all eggs?!? You'd never guess! Everyone sings at a good volume and with fabulous energy, on their solos and the smaller group parts!! All of the trios and duets are fantastic! And not to mention the cuteness! Some are cute+sweet and others more cute+lovely, but they're all wonderful! This is a very promising batch of eggs!!!

Valentine (Abe Natsumi)
Sakura (Iida Kaori)
Nai-chan (Kago Ai)
Rika (Mari & Ogawa)
Celia (Yoshizawa Hitomi)
Hinaki (Tsuji Nozomi)
Maya (Yasuda Kei)
Aura (Ishikawa Rika)
Spicy (Takahashi Ai)
Miya-chan (Konno Asami)
Anna (Niigaki Risa)

Hey! Mirai (MilkyStar) / UWAH, the dogs are adorable!! I'm not super familiar with the song, but I know I've heard it at least once. I have to say Aura stood out to me a little, firstly cause her part has a good number of lines and secondly cause she's pure sweetkawaii. But! every single one of these charming ladies sound magnificent!! The main melody and lyrics gets a little repetitive towards the second half of the song, but it's not that bad. And the dub itself is excellent.

Celia (Takahashi Ai)
Hinaki (Tanaka Reina)
Maya (Niigaki Risa)
Miri (Fujimoto Miki)

Shanimuni Paradise (VENUS) / MP3! Oh, I love how it starts right away! And what a fabulous beginning! I adore concert versions, though I'm new to this song. Celia's strong, mature, lovely voice is drool-worthy, and she delivers awesomely. Hinaki is totally cute+kawaii and I love her pep. Maya has a pretty sound with a cute edge; she had nice energy too but I'd like a little bit more from her. Miri's singing is adorably gorgeous- I know she's not on the stage, but she's got...vocal stage presence? lol. It's like she's up there for real. I LOVE this! "In this single, VENUS members showed off their cute traits." OH YES!

Celia (Yoshizawa Hitomi)
Tomo (Konno Asami)
Molly (Mano Erina)
Zoey (Ishikawa Rika)
Manon (Satoda Mai)
Yume (Noto Arisa)
Mari (Sengoku Minami)
Hikki (Sawada Yuri)

Narihajimeta Koi no Bell (Ongaku Stars) / OMG this is brilliant!!! ksfjnwejkf kfjnwefjkn. I don't even know what to say. MP3! I'm downloading it now, after tracking down the link in MS' forums. I wish it was in the drop-down section, but I'm just happy there's a dl link at all. So since it's not there, I provided it for you lovely people, in case you decide you want to keep this amazing dub.

Another thing about MS; their castlists confuse me. They say solos are in 'order of hearance' but then they go and list H!P girls. So....are their dubs casted or scripted? Or are they casted and then the names simply listed in the order their solos appear the first time around? Cause I've always been mixed up about it. From the sounds of things this dub is casted.

It is helpful -for those unfamiliar with the original singers- to have it listed in order, so a name can be matched to a face in the video. But when I see 'order of hearance' I think it's going to be the same order as listed throughout the entire dub. I guess that's why I get confused. Anyways!! Enough ramblings, lol.

There are way too many KICKBUTT things about this dub for me to mention them all. So so so many super sounding solos, and anytime more than one person sang at once it turned out awesomely; blendingraburabu! Molly's "my soul" at 1:00 caught my attention, I love it. All of the little extra sounds (like the ah's) are cool and the chorus is MADE OF WIN!! I'm getting a little sleepy, so sorry if I fail at expressiong verbally how much this rocks!

WOW, this entry really reminded me how amazing of a project Milky Star is. Their dubs are so good!! Y'all need to check them out if you haven't yet. Seriously.

Misc

Do it! Now by Lucy [CherryxJuice] / Energy! Emotion! Heckyes; Lucy sounds spectacular! She's so strong in this solo! I kind of wish it were a longer concert version, since it's over far too soon. She's just so BAM, spot on and brilliantly gung-ho! Her enthusiasm is endearing and brings a smile to your face.

I love the passion she sings with, her lines are so well delivered. Her rap is intense and totally made of win. LUCY PAAWA! It's one of my favorite parts. Congrats to her on 250 subs, and I'm sure all of her viewers love this just as much as I do! What a great 'thank you' dub. Thanks for sharing with me Lucy~

Zoey [MS Gen.1] (as Mano Erina)
Celia [MS Gen.4] (as Hello Kitty)

Love & Peace = Paradise by Zoey ft. Celia (Milky Star) / The "PA PA PA...RU RU RU...RA RA RA" whole part in the beginning is freaking kawaii! Ohh, so this is a duet. But it's refered to the way it is because Zoey is a soloist, so it's her plus Celia. At first I wasn't sure if it just meant that Celia sang harmonies or something, but I get it now. These girls sound SO good together; Zoey is the louder of the two, but their blending is cute+lovely.

The first verse is at 0:40 and I totally love it. Not much to comment on individually, since it's one big duet part. I like them on "Subarashii koto nanda to" ~ 1:09 is the pre-chorus, which is also sung by both girls. The ending "no Sei" is pretty, and right after that is more chorus! The melody is so bright and fun, one that Zoey and Celia sound darling on!

1:52 is Zoey's first solo! Ohgosh I love her voice. She sounds SO good, delivers well and sings with great emotion! I like her "Maegami giri sugi" though her whole solo is wonderful. 2:06 is Celia, nkjn kjnkjr she's so cute! I love all of her solo, so it's hard to pick out what I like the most, her first line "Taiiku no jikan Bacchiri SHUUTO kimatta!" is terrific! I really like her 'jikan' ~ both of the girls do a really good job on the higher notes.

The following pre-chorus, they each get a solo time and also duet a little bit. I adore their "tachi no Sei" ~ chorus time again at 2:34, it sounds awesome each and every time! Actually, all that's left in the song is chorus. Except you get to hear them both solo on it! Celia at 3:02 and 3:12, UWAH, she defines adorable on her "RU RU RU" and "RA RA RA"s! Zoey at 3:07 and 3:14, both of her solos sound smashing! It's all too good to quote only part of it.

And then the two join together for one last round of the chorus. I'm not a huge fan of Mano or of this song, and I actually don't see many dubs of her songs at all, but I think Zoey and Celia did a fantastic job on it!!

Shimizu Saki - Lizzie (liz9419)
Tsugunaga Momoko - Lucy (CherryxJuice)

Ah Merry-go-round
/ I don't think I've ever actually heard this song fully through. Lucy's opening speaking part is...long, lol. And very good! I always like hearing speaking parts as well as singing, because it shows that the dubber can not only sing in Japanese but speak it well too, and Lucy sounds totally natural. Her first line is at 0:36, and I like the last part, "maigo ni natta mitai" ~ I hear a harmony part along with her lovely singing and I don't know if it's by Liz.

0:50 is Liz, and Lucy is right; she does make an awesome Saki! I like her "Doko ni demo iru" ~ She's got such a mature and strong voice. 1:08 to 1:34 = PAWAA! The girls sing with energy and emotion on the pre-chorus, maybe Lucy a little bit more so than Liz, but both of them sound marvelous! Yay! First chorus at 1:35, I think their "Merry-go-round"s turned out rather swell! The chorus is actually really short, wow.

There is some light pitchiness throughout, but nothing crazy bad; though it seems the higher / louder parts are sometimes pitchier than others. This song is basically the same thing over and over, and with a lot of solos. I like the way this duet sounds on the all the parts of the song sounds, though I think I like the chorus most. It's a tie between it and the pre-chorus.

At 3:37 I really like Liz and then Lucy's following solo. Yay for solos with little backing music! One last chorus finishes off the dub. I like I like their Nanchuu....YOU KNOW? dub more, but that might be cause I adore that song, lol. They both did a terrific job on this!

"Because everybody has currently an obsession with this song..." Chiyo [xChiyoChii] is holding auditions for a groupdub of Momoiro Clover's Ikuze! Kaito Shoujo, and I must say; I LOVE this song!! The rules, audition form, and a list of the open spots in the drop down section of the video.

Misc~

Bah, I forgot that I had plans tonight after work. So I didn't get home and relaxed and changed until after 8pm, and then I was really sleepy, which made blogging difficult. But! I can say that there are currently about eight or so dubs getting reviewed by my lovely little helpers. I don't know exactly when they'll be up though, since we all know that life has a way of, well, getting in the way, lol.

And I'm slowly making progress, checking things off my list as I go. Hopefully, since I have no plans tomorrow, I'll get more done after I get out of work. Thank you to all the people who have taken the time to PM me their requests! I like to discover new groups and I'm always up for listening. I'm a bit backed up, but I will get to everything!!

OH, as you can tell, BTW nothing happened this weekend. I just couldn't fit it in. So I'm going to keep plugging along at my lists and shared vids and requests, and if I get a chance, I'll do a backtrack on solos sometime this week, but no promises. If nothing else, there is always this next weekend! Annnnd, I need to go to bed now, so here's a bit more until tomorrow~

Solo (In order of hearance):
Menami [MS EGGs] (as Minegishi Minami)
Purply [MS EGGs] (as Kojima Haruna)
Valentine [MS Gen.5] (as Takahashi Minami)

Relax! by RUBY (Milky Star) / Takamina! Miichan! It's been a while since I listened to anything AKB. I like other songs by no3b more, but it's cool to see something non-H!P in the mix. No lyrics! But I know that there is a place like projecthello (but, er, different) for AKB as well; Studio48, found at Stage48.net ~ so here are color coded lyrics from there so y'all can follow along if you like.

Purply starts the dub off marvelously with her solo of the first chorus line! &Holyfrick, I love the Va/Me duet right after her They don't so much blend, they just sound good together. Both with different voices that can be picked out of the duet, but go well with one another, ear pleasingly so. Plus they sound really good on the line there, "kimi wa mou ganbatteru kara" ~ the 'mou' is freaking cute!!

The following "Relax! Relax! kokoro ni...." etc occurs a several times throughout the dub, with different girls singing the 'kokoro ni' and other such parts. All of them are fabulous!! I don't know if it's just me, but the instrumental seems a little loud (goodness knows, I've had headphone problems lately, so it really could be just me). The solos are all great, but the highlight for me in this is the duets! The girls did a splendid job on them! All the blending in this is awesome.

I kind of agree with some of what's said in the comments; this song isn't as easy as it may seem, so props to this trio for tackling it. There are a few off notes here and there, but Kappa took the words out of my mouth....hands? ~ "It's not perfect, but still a lovely cover!"

Saki Shimizu: Mystery [xLittleMystery]
Momoko Tsugunaga: Akari [Byakna] [graduated]
Chinami Tokunaga: Kurumi [chocolatekurumi] [Cover]
Maasa Sudou: Yui [YuiChuru] *Cover*
Miyabi Natsuyaki: Choko [xXxChokocchixXx] [graduated]
Yurina Kumai : Serené [o0SweetSunshine0o]
Risako Sugaya : Belly [Rasubelly]

Seishun Bus Guide by Crispy Crossies (xKiraKiraProjectx) /I forgot how this song went until the dub started up. I've never really listened to it much, I guess. You can tell right from the start that some people have more energy than others; the first group sounds much stronger than the second. Belly sounds fantastic on her 0:18 solo! And Akari's 0:25 solo is really quiet; cute but hard to hear. All of her solos are like this. I love love Kurumi's 0:47 solo!! So pretty and well delivered.

I like the 1:16 group "hitorijime shitainda" though someone sounds a tiny bit off. Choko (1:24) has got some funky timing going on. She seems to sing a little too fast sometimes, or stumbles over the lyrics. There is no flow and she sometimes hits off notes. It's not much to go by, but I rather like Yui's "kore ga jerashii" at 1:52. Oh, and her 2:14 solo = rabu. Following at 2:17 is Mystery; she's only got two solos in this, not much to go by. I know that I like her from having listened to other dubs she's in, and I think I prefer her on other songs than this.

Belly did a great job on her Rii parts, like at 2:10 & 2:43. Serené (2:50) is kind of on the quite side as well, she could use more volume and umph! Overall, there are some small things that could be better, but the Kira girls did a marvelous job~

Como la flor by ChiiAyu (DoubleCProject) /This is gorgeous!! I completely love and adore Karen's voice, and will listen to her sing anything in any language, anytime!! I really like what she did with the video, it's very creative. This dub is the third track on her 'Non-japanese Covers; First Collection' ~ I don't have much to say, especially since I'm unfamiliar with the song language, lol. But I love every line in this dub, and every word from Karen's mouth; she has such a strong, rich voice. Look forward to the next track; 30 minutes-T.A.T.U

Milky Star's latest~

Baaah, I need to get into blogging mode. I don't have TONS to do, but I do have quite a bit, lol. And my attention keeps wandering off. So let's get things rolling!!

Solo (In order of hearance):
Zoey [Himawari] (as Satoda Mai)
Yume [EGGs] (as Suzanne)
Mitsuki [EGGs] (as Kinoshita Yukina)

Koi no Hexagon, EGGs Promo! (Milky Star) / Gah, I really like this, but I've been confused for like, the last 2-3 minutes. One reason I dislike 'order of hearance' & 'in order of solos' or whatever, is because you don't always know if the project is splitting solos according to how the song has them spilt originally. I like having CClyrics, or something that defines who sings when, as a guide. Also, it's easy to get lost, and once you're lost, you have to backtrack and count your way through the solos.

It says in order of solos/hearance, but I consider the "Hora, Hora, Hora"s in the beginning as solos, therefore I was really confused because Mai doesn't sing first, Suzanne does. So I didn't understand why the cast was ordered the way it is. After I figured out that Mai has the first longer solo, I thought that maybe that's what is meant? And if it is, I think it could be more clearly stated in the drop-down section, so the listener doesn't get confused.

It does say that Zoey sings as Mai first, but now that I get where things are starting off, I'm guessing that that info is just as reference? Does she sing as Mai throughout the song? Some people could think that, since it says 'as Satoda Mai' - that info can be confusing if one were not to pay enough attention to the text above the castlist. So since it's in order of solo, starting at 0:22, from there it should cycle through the three girls. It sounds like it.

I know it may seem like I'm making a big deal out of nothing, but sometimes you've got to consider that people who listen to your dub; don't speak, read or understand English well - are not familiar with the singers and so cannot pick out voices as well as some other regular listeners may be able to - may (like me) view things about the dub/song differently than you do (such as what the starting solo is) - or are just easily confused - ETC.

Yes; you can't make everyone happy, and you should be dubbing for yourself and your own enjoyment first and foremost. But listener-friendly dubs are appreciated. Blah, I feel bad rambling on about this, but it's honestly what I think. I really really like this dub, the girls sound awesome!! But when I got lost right from the get-go, that started me off thinking negatively, and when that happens, you keep going in that line of thought until something changes it.

I would totally download this, in fact, you can find the MP3 link in their forums. So I just might!! This is a fabulous trio - they sound awesome together; I love the group parts, the chorus pwns! All of the solos are well delivered, and each girl sounds amazing in her own unique way. Pure win, really.

And Milky Star's other recent release~

Valentine Kiss by Dcgoddess / Aww, this is a cute & fun song, and it's a good choice for Menami. I really like her in the beginning, and on the chorus. She's good on the verses as well, but I don't like the melody as much. The song does get a bit repetitive, but overall I think this is a sweet dub.

MS & HPC

This is so fun/adorable! I really like that Milky Star does introductions or mini-interviews, whatever you wanna call'em. This is the official welcome to the Generation 6 members who were chosen from the Diamond Six Auditions. They officially joined MS in mid-January and debuted in the 11th single, Do It! Now, in April. But in this dub it's only Gen 6 and you get a good listen of all three gals voices.

Sakura (as Natsuyaki Miyabi)
Nai (as Suzuki Airi)
Miyako (as Akari Saho)

AHA! What's the poll? Yume to Genjitsu! I love this song SO much. And these gals did an awesome job on it! Nai has great energy/emotion and delivered her lines well. Miyako was a little on the soft side, but she has a incredibly sweet voice. I'd like to hear her with a little more umph! Sakura sounds lovely and has good energy, some very nice notes. I want to hear more of all three before I really form opinions, so I will wait eagerly for the next release that they participate in. Congrats to Gen 6!

Morning Coffee by helloprochorus / Participating singers; Renna, Boo, Meche, Rin, Aura, Dani, Eva, DcGoddess, Fae, Phiy, Chiemi, Moni, Kokoro, Nao, and Michiko. A total of fifteen.

Freaking A, I adore this. The group parts are so good!! Sure, once in a while you hear it when two people clash a little cause one of'em is singing a slightly off note, but nothing too bad. I really love how so many people took part in this, really making it a chorus dub of the song.

The solos were nice also, but the group parts really won me over. Morning Coffee is still one of my fave Momusu songs, with all the different parts overlapping, and the melody is so pretty. So big time props to HPC doing such a fabulous job. I sort of want to hear a version with no solos, all chorus. I know it'd be epic. But I am happy enough listening to the wonderful blending in this dub~

Do It! Now by MilkyStar / I didn't love this at first. I mean it's good, and as I listened to it more and more it grew on me. It's mostly the song I didn't like to start with, but it's not so bad. As for the dub; there are a lot of good lines, lovely voices, and a nice energy level. The beginning was really good. Congrats on the debut, 6th Gen.

Valentine sounded great at 0:38, I really like her matureness. 0:53 is Miya - she has such an adorable voice! Maybe a litte on the quiet side sometimes. Spicy did fabulously on her Gomaki solo at 0:58! Another pretty-mature voice. There are quite a few of them in this dub, like Celia at 1:31. I'm loving it. She had great energy too.

I get a little confused as to who is rapping which parts, but I liked all of them! I think Hinaki was 2:11 and 2:22 was Nai-chan. Also, I think 2:17 was Aura, but idk for super sure. 2:29 is Rika, who sounds great on her Mari solo. I didn't even notice the change of dubbers at 2:39, if there was one. It lists Anna as Kaori though, idk. And lastly is Maya at 3:02. She really suited Risa, I liked the umph she delivered her line with.

Overall I liked this~

Maeda Yuuka: Martha
Ogawa Saki: Yuusaku
Wada Ayaka: Reika
Fukuda Kanon: Ayaka

Asu wa Deeto by CosmosProject / A little bit of pitchiness throughout, and this could have used a smidgen more energy at times; but the girls all sounded cute. Reika sounds adorable, and I liked her emotion. Ayaka has a nice mature voice and she sounded good on her Kanon solos.

Yuusaku did well, her pitching could use some work though. & Her "nee"s were a little weak. But she sounds nice on held notes. Martha had pretty good energy and sounded lovely. Overall, not anything I can really point out, except just maybe more umph! A cute release.

【Shuffles】~ First Kiss

Reina Tanaka - Eva (airisuzuki24)
Miyabi Natsuyaki - Amaya (xsweetgurl)
Airi Suzuki - Hana (KatieWoW123)

Lol, I've listened to this song too much lately. Hana makes a cute Airi and did a pretty good job on the high notes. Sometimes a little quiet though. Eva rocked her lines, I love love her clear beautiful voice. And Amaya sounds as wonderful as ever! I always felt bad that Miyabi didn't get more lines. I really liked this, and since I've heard quite a few dubs of this song recently, I can knowingly say that this is good.

【Straeberrie】~ Rival

Eva (airisuzuki24)
Moka (animeobsessed40)
Stella (StellaUta)
Miyazu (MiyazuChan)
Mai (dblingchiu)
Nakky (ILA1080)
Amaya (xsweetgurl)

I've listened to this at least six times or more now, and it's really good. A tiny bit of pitchiness, and some people could have been louder, but I really liked many of the solos and the group parts were fabulous! & All of the little random speaking parts in this song turned out really well too. I already covered this song, so nothing in depth from me at the moment. But this is a great release from K!P.

Auditions Open

As promised yesterday, MilkyStar EGG Auditions II have begun! EGGs are the project's trainee group. If your interested, don't hesitate to audition! And you can always check out their forums for more info. Auditions are open until May 8th~

Hello Project Shuffle Deeto is pretty straight forward- "The idea for this project is to dub the whole Winter 2010 Shuffle Deeto concert." It's only meant to be a one-shot, and once the concert has been fully dubbed the project will close.

I don't know who is running the project, but I think it's a good idea and everything is organized very well. In the drop-down section for the Auditions video, there is a wonderful amount of information that clearly states what is desired and required. I really like the video that was used too. Shows off the groups that are being auditioned for~

Yet another great project that I haven't covered yet!! I'm browsing around their forums right now, and I must say; it's very informative and well organized! I'll share some of what I've found with y'all. They, like YoProject and HanaPro, have a thread on the history of their project!! I love that. There is so much that went on, rather than try and summerize, I'll just give you the link.

"Milky Star~ Project is a H!P fan-dubbing project that formed on May, 18th, 2008, after the disbanding of fandubbing project, Tenshi Koubou. This project was formed by 3 former members of Tenshi Koubou. . ." And that's how it began. The project has five generations and over 30 members, with 3 graduated members.

It's also posted on the forums that "MilkyStar EGGs Audition II will be officially opening on April 11th (Sunday) in Japan Standard Time" so look forward to those!! MS has a thread that covers the Audition Process and Judging Criteria for those who are thinking of auditioning to read.

Solo (In order of hearance):

Tomo [MS Gen.3] (as Kago Ai)
Zoey [MS Gen.1] (as Tsuji Nozomi)
Celia [MS Gen.4] (as Yoshizawa Hitomi)
Nai [MS Gen.6] (as Ishikawa Rika)
Valentine [MS Gen.5] (as Iida Kaori)
Anna [MS Gen.2] (as Yaguchi Mari)

Background Vocals:

Hinaki [MS Gen.1] (as Tanaka Reina)
Rika [MS Gen.4] (as Konno Asami)
Aura [MS Gen.4] (as Michishige Sayumi)
Spicy [MS Gen.5] (as Fujimoto Miki)

I Wish / Fantastic!! Oh my gosh. So many wonderful voices doing awesome singing. I love that Aibon & Nono's graduation was picked, cause it suits perfectly with Tomo and Zoey both graduating. Two and two. And I really think it was a good song choice. I wouldn't normally listen to I Wish by Momusu, but it's a good graduation song.

I loved the solos in this dub. Everyone sounds amazing, in their own way. Cute, energetic, mature, sweet, lovely, etc. I really got. . . .graduation feelings from this? lol, I mean everyone sounded happy when I listened without watching the video. Basically I think they did a good job of singing with emotion. I'm so lame at wording things sometimes.

I really really like this dub. "You can download all our works, get to know us, or even join us at our forums" the info section tells me, so I might just go check out their forums so I can get the MP3 for this. It's wonderful~

Celia [MS Gen.4] (as Takahashi Ai)
Hinaki [MS Gen.1] (as Tanaka Reina)
Miri [MS EGGs] (as Kamei Eri)
Maya [MS Gen.2] (as Niigaki Risa)

Kimagure Princess / jshefehwgr. This blew my mind a little. I do love and adore Egao 9's dub of this song, but I can't help but adore VENUS' dub as well. I really like how the video is mixed too. These four gals sound great together!

Hinaki at 0:40. omg, kawaii voice! Good solos! 1:11 is Miri, and she's amazing! This is her first dub with the group and I can see why she was added. She's Epic. 1:14 is Celia; she suits Ai and I love her energy and vibrato. She has a lovely mature voice, and sang so spot on. Maya at 2:05, freaking cuuute!

Bah! I'm not supposed to be covering this too much, since I already fully covered it. But I couldn't help rambling a little. Y'all really should have a listen to this. It's fabulous!

/ More dubs to look forward to sometime in the future! /
