[Shared Vids]

I'm not totally sure, but I think SP recently updated their channel. It's very nice! I must say that the blue and green font draw me in and look well with the tannish-yellow background. I think that part of being a project is presenting yourself well to the dubbing community, and a uncomplex (eye pleasing doesn't hurt any either) layout to go hand-in-hand with a good amount of information is super.

Peachii actually sent me the project's latest dubs back on Sunday, but I was trying to catch up with the stuff from the previous week, so I pushed my Shared Vids to the back burner. But since they've been waiting they are currently on the front burner in front of my subscriptions list. Moving right on!!

Sugaya Risako: Yumi (SugoiiYumiChan)
Natsuyaki Miyabi: Sootie (sootjenl)
Tsugunaga Momoko: Peachii (animeobsessed40)
Kumai Yurina: Kitty (missgumbiecat)
Sudou Maasa: Logan (thebananayes) *COVER!*
Tokunaga Chinami: Chi (HanaChiiru)
Shimizu Saki: Sera-chan (myster0taku) *COVER!*

Jiriri Kiteru by Blueberryz Kobo / So many cute/pretty voices!! Props to Sera and Logan for lending a hand and covering. I really totally love the group parts; the way everyone sounds together is awesome! The energy level of this dub is fabulous, and even if I don't care for the song much, I adore the dubbers and listening to their version.

The majority of the solos in this song are short/small and most of them are Rii, Miya and Momoko parts; which makes it hard to comment on all individuals. The verses go; solo, solo, duet, solo, solo, duet, solo, duet. The solos in 0:37 to 0:46 are Yumi, Chi, Peachii, Sootie - and all are great!

The whole first verse was wonderful!! Also, the 0:56 duet is Sootie and Yumi, and I love it, they make a good duo! I don't know which of the two sang the slightly higher notes towards the end, on "DAME da yo" but it was epic!

Once the chorus starts in, it breaks up into two groups. One is Sera, Chi, Logan, & Kitty. lol, I have to say that when I first heard a male voice I was a little wtf? But these four sound good together, they're well balanced. The other group is Peachii, Sootie and Yumi - fantastic! This trio blends so well! I liked the chorus' ending "JIRIRI KITERU."

This dub is Chi (was lele01kj - now HanaChiiru) 's debut! She only gets one solo, as Chinami (lol, Chi and Chi), at about 1:40, but it's a lovely 1-2 seconds. I really liked Sera-chan's solo, at 1:46. She's a great singer. Logan and Kitty sounded marvelous as well! And another set of wonderful-sounding duets, I adore the blending. Peachii's longer solos could have used more energy/umph! As AsunaSasaki commented, she sounds a little bored at times.

Overall this dub sounds really good. As always, there are little things that can be picked at, but I like the cast a lot and think everyone did a fantastic job. Pitching was pretty darn good, so maybe just work on singing with even more energy!

I chose to blab about Jiriri Kiteru because A) it was the first released, first sent to me and so it was the first I listened to, lol. And B) now that I look at the second dub I wouldn't have chosen it because it's one of those unfairly divided C-ute songs (even if it's a catchy song).

Umeda Erika: Meche (lilxicanita)
Yajima Maimi: Sera-chan (mystery0taku) *COVER*
Arihara Kanna: Yumi (SugoiiYumichan)
Nakajima Saki: Peachii (animeobsessed40)
Suzuki Airi: Raii (HanonHoshoAquaPearl)
Okai Chisato: Mariah (SailorSednaPGSM)
Hagiwara Mai: Moni (rcb2418)

Tokaikko Junjou by C-herryz / OH EM GEE. Sera and Raii blew my mind. Hardcore. I freaking loved Sera's speaking part (and singing too) and Raii sounds amazing!! fjkqbwfjkebfhebfhbewh. It sucks that the lines are unfair, but I can't help but completely love this dub.

Moni and Peachii get a few solos, and I think they are kind of soft. They're both lacking in energy and volume, especially compared to the main soloists in this. I adore their sweet/cute voices, but I'd like to get more from their solos, to hear more. Try and work on putting more energy and umph! into lines. But on a positive note, they do blend well as a duo.

Throughout the song there are different little groups, and one of them is Meche, Sera, Mariah and Yumi. They sing back and forth between solos at 1:08 and they sound flipping awesome! The blending is spectacular, I love how they sound together. I really think Raii pwned Airi and this song. A very enjoyable listen.

And lastly, Generation 3 auditions are open!

Misc Auds

Miyako (miyakochanx3) asked me to help her spread the word of her recently begun project; Kiseki Project. I of course couldn't resist, so I'll share with y'all the little that I know! Auditions for the first generation have started, and there are only five open spots!

"This project will be covering a variety of songs going from different groups in H!P to some JE songs!" So we can look forward to releases by groups under those companies/labels/whatever. The rules are listed in the drop-down info section, plain and simple. Auditions end May 28th! One cool thing about KP is that "the group will choose together what song they would like to sing."

I actually recieved notice of this the other day, but I was blog-lazy for a day and also waiting for the right entry to fit it into. This one is perfect cause it's an entry all about auditions, lol. Strawberryz Project isn't taking on another generation, they are looking for new members to fill up the open spots in their current groups! SP is all about being an active dubbing group, thus bringing about these auditions.

As usual with auds, all the info you'll need is listed in the drop-down info section. There is a form to fill out if you want to apply, including 'song votes' - the possible members-to-be get to cast their vote on which song will be dubbed next (according to group)! There is also a chance of shuffle groups! "if you want you can request I open some shuffle groups."

Weekend; heck yes!

Ohemgee. All morning I couldn't get the Dolce Melodia dub out of my head, lol. And for the second half, randomly enough, I couldn't stop singing the first part of Shuo Ai Ni by Jolin Tsai - "wo de shi jie bian de qi miao geng nan yi yan yu, hai yi wei shi cong tian er jiang de meng jing, zhi dao que ting shou de wen du lai zhi ni xin li, zhe yi ke wo chong yu yong gan shuo ai ni"

So yeah, to address the drama-thing going on in the shoutbox; I am still going to at least look at Breaking Records. I already said that I would and it's not like it'll kill me to take ten minutes to have a look around. Drama is lame so let's try to keep it off Blabodu. Feel free to email me if you want; miriuoniaya@hotmail.com, or if you have a YT you can message me on there; MiriuOniaya~

Another one of those - how have I not talked about this project yet?! - projects. I really should plan ahead by asking questions prior to covering here, lameness on my part. I can't say I know very much about SP, and though I checked out their forum I didn't gain any info. I'll have to chat'em up at some point in the near future.

I do know that the project's main account was unfortunately hacked some odd months ago. The back up, StrawberryzProjectMC, is now the main channel. However, there are nine releases uploaded to the previous account and not all have been re-uploaded, probably due data loss. So check out their older and current channels!!

SP's original join date was July 24th of 2009, and though I don't know if that's completely accurate, I believe things got going sometime around then. They have a total of nineteen dubs currently up (including both channels) released from among their nine groups.

The way they do their groups/generations is different and was a little confusing at first, but it's kind of cool. They don't do new generations of the project, but new generations of the groups. Generation 1 had four groups; Strawberryz Musume, B-erryz, Blueberryz Koubou, & Fruits!

And the 2nd Generation covers the same H!P groups (Momusu, C-ute, Berryz, etc) but with new names and a different line-up/cast. The five groups are; Berryz Musume, C-herryz, Kiwi Koubou, Banana, & Scrambled Eggs! SP has 30+ members that participate within all the different groups.

I'll get back to y'all with whatever else I manage to find out. But for now, it's share time!! The latest from Strawberryz Project, released 04.21.2010. The second single from their 2nd Gen Berryz Koubou group~

Saki Shimizu: Sera-chan (Mystery0taku)
Tsugunaga Momoko: Sakura (InColourXx)
Tokunaga Chinami: Fae (nytefaerie)
Sudou Maasa: Mystery (xLittleMystery)
Natsuyaki Miyabi: Moka-chan (animeobsessed40)
Kumai Yurina: Bananacho (Amandaphobia08)
Sugaya Risako: Karen (Chiiayu)

Dakishimete Dakishimete by Kiwi Koubou / The energy level was just okay for me, most girls had it, but I still would have liked that extra little bit. I liked the verses and enjoyed hearing all the girls on their solos, but the chorus was lacking for me. Even though I'm starting this off with pointing out what I didn't care for; this is a swell dub. The blending is lovely, everyone sang on beat and I heard almost zero wrong notes.

This isn't really a sexy-vibe song, more of a we're-cool-vibe, and this group did a pretty good job on bringing that to their lines. I guess that can account for some of the energy-ness, cause it's not always easy to sing lowish & put on cool-vibes and have perfect energy, without possibly slipping into loud/bubbly. If that makes any sense, lol.

I was a little disappointed to not hear the echoes on the "hoshikatta" and "aishiteru to itte" but they weren't a make-or-break part. And I bet they can't be super easy to mix, so it's understandable. Btw, props to Sera for mixing! After 13 or so listens, there isn't anything that bad jumps out at me. These gals sound marvelous. Totally worth a listen. *clicks teh yella button*
