Poll + Concerts

YAY POLL TIME! Blabodu went for so long without one because I fail at thinking things up sometimes, lol. But with it being summer and quite a few concerts going on, I randomly decided to make a poll about them! Thank you so so much to the 75 people who took the time to click!!

As you can see from the results, about 57% are participating in only one or two concerts. I'm sure the amount of free time each person have varies, depending on different factors; other dubbing related stuff, work, school stuff over the summer, or perhaps other plans. But even so; about 22% said they are participating in 3-4 concerts- I'll bet they are busy bees!

12 of the 75 choose the "No" option, probably cause they A) aren't in a project that is doing a summer concert B) don't have the time, or C) because they chose not to. With the last choice I didn't think there would be much of a percentage, because 5 is quite a few concerts! Only 3 people selected it when voting. Props to them for taking on such a load!

I think if I didn't blog but dubbed instead, I would probably be the first option; my job would prevent me from doing more than that. Before summer started I was forewarned by a dubber that the season would probably be busy, with a lot of people free from school and concerts starting up. I am and have been very behind, but I chug along like a happy little steam boat. I'm hoping for some time off in October or November though~

And while we're on the subject...

I am going to try and stay on top of concert releases. I haven't listened to many of these, a few here and there, but I'll try to in my own time. I'd mostly like to acknowledge that I've been seeing them released and to share them all with y'all! It'll be the same set up as last time. If I don't list a concert you're in and you'd like me to add it to this list, I'm more than happy to. You only need to let me know!

Something that crossed my mind last month or something; have any of you (project / concert leaders) thought of putting the MP3s of your concert once it's completed into a zip file for download? I would definitely be willing to give those a shot, even with my sometimes lame internet, lol. If not, even simple individual MP3s make me ridiculously happy~

MB [BK FTW]

MAJI BOMBA & BERRYZ FTW!! S/mileage's latest, Yume Miru 15sai, took second place, only six votes behind Maji. I guessed that those two would be the winners, but I wasn't sure about Seishun and Campus; partially 'cause Seishun is still pretty new. But in the end, Seishun won out.

I think I'd go with Yume first off, for dub choice. Only cause at the moment, I don't know Maji well enough. After those two, I would (ewyes) pick Seishun because I know I'd fail at Campus. So the results went exactly in the order I would have chosen, lol. Thank you to the 79 people who took the time to vote. OMG I think that's a record high ;w;

I'm so excited for Maji Bomber, I can't wait for it to be released! This time around a full length preview was released, instead of a short one ~ and while I like listening to that, I really want the full on PV+MP3 experience. Their latest single (WAO) is still so popular, and I think they are and will remain favorite Berryz songs for a while. And Maji is already spreading like wildfire!! Gah, so excited.

Whooo~ I'm really tired. I feel a little less behind after getting a entry or so up. I have another three I want to write right now, but they won't turn out very good if I attempt them with droopy eyes. So hopefully I'll get those done (more requests and shared videos) tomorrow, and then I can move onward to other things.

Poll!

The poll is over! Well, it's been over. I've just been neglecting it until now. Thanks a million to the 70+ people who took the time to click that little button. I was thinking ahead to this summer after talking to Michiru some and I found myself wondering. I'm not surprised how the voting went at all, though I didn't really consider it when I was putting the poll up.

June - some people are still getting out of school or finishing up things that are related to school. Moving off-campus or celebrating their high school graduation. And school aside, even if plans for the summer started before June, I'm sure that planning is still going on for summer project releases / events. August falls in the second half of the summer, when you have to start preparing for things to start up again; like school. When project's summer events will start winding down, and while this will still result in busyness, not as much as-

July! The big winner. It makes sense, because it falls right in the middle, giving you time to plan ahead, set things in motion, and then finish it all off before the summer ends!! So I had better plan ahead for a busy July, lol. June beat out August in the end, but I'm okay with that. Because NMAcon is in early August!

And now for the next poll! Seishun Collection is definitely not high on my list. But aside from that one, H!P has been releasing some awesome songs! I loved Yume Miru 15sai right from the start, it's so freaking good. Campus Life had to grow on me a little, and even though I do like it, it places third out of the four, for me. I am SO excited about Maji Bomber!!!

But this isn't just about which song you like the most, but which you would chose to dub. Your choice could depend on the mixing difficulty, on what kind of song you'd rather sing, or which song you know is in your range. Etc. Whatever your reason is for picking the songs you do. I'm going to give the option to select more than one, but please only choose two of the four songs!

PR~

The poll's over!! I know it may have seemed a little random this time around, lol. I was organizing things for my blog, making lists and stuff. And as I was going through a list of the projects that I've covered on here, I got to thinking. That, and some other time I realized how many there were that begun with K.

So I counted all the projects on the list, then separated them out by letter, and guessed which I thought would place where when the poll was over. And I'm happy to say that I was awful close!! The way the letters are divided inbetween choices seems to make no sense, but I assure you it does, to me.

H, K and S were the most popular letters for project names on my list (an average of around 11 each); and at the time they fell in that exact order, all quite close in numbers. As you can see by the poll, that's how it went. But of the three, S won out! Then H, followed by K. I have just recently re-counted my list, since a few more projects have been added since, and those three still have the most projects under them.

But! I was rather surprised to see the fourth poll option win overall! The way I divided the rest of the letters up was by amount, from my previous list. A, B, C, M, R all had around the same number, so did the next few options, the last option (Q, V, X, Z) was all zeros. A-R averaged 3-4 projects under each letter. But it was picked as a choice 42 times! These letters are more popular than I thought.

From there on things went as I predicted; E-Y, I-U, D-O, & Q-Z - in that order. The first two of those options got a little more than I expected, and D-O got a lot more; I only have one and the poll tolled 14! Thanks to everyone who participated in my silly poll. I'm sort of curious as to what projects make up the 73 votes overall, that I don't know of yet. Feel free to share with me!!

Poll + Hana

'What are your favorite groups to dub songs from?' The previous poll was over the other day, but it was mid-BTW, so I skipped it until now. Homg! 70+ votes! That's the most yet. Thank you so much to everyone who participated! I'll admit that I listen to mostly H!P dubs, though I enjoy other stuff too. So this poll was just me wondering what y'all like to dub.

As you can see, H!P was the winner; nothing else even came close. But I'm not exactly surprised. Even the 'Other H!P' beat out the rest. But it was pretty close with AKB48, SNSD, Vocaloids and the 'Other' option. I tried to cover as many things as I could without having way too many, lol. When I think of what the 'other' could be, I come up with; other Asian groups, and groups that sing in the many other languages. Like German, French, Italian, etc.

Misc Japanese had the next highest amount of votes, which again doesn't surprise me. I was secretly hoping, just a little bit, that Misc Korean might win out of the two, lol. But either or; they're both good. NICE GIRL Project, Tokyo Girls' Style and Idoling!!! were sort last minute thoughts. I was trying to pick some not-so-well-known H!P/AKB48-like groups. But yeah, that's that!

LolitA ☆ Strawberry in Summer (2010 Ver) by Sakuranbo (HanaProject) / This has been a while coming, heh. It was released on the 16th but I haven't gotten to it until now. "Do you know how bloody fulfilling it is to have a group that blows you away every single and makes every one better than the last? Because I do. I absolutely flipping LOVE IT LIKE CRAZY LIKE THIS." I think we can say that Kappa likes this dub, lol~

I honestly have to say that this doesn't appeal to me much, but!! It's like, 100% cause of the song. I've never heard it before and don't like it very much. The chorus kinds of grows on you a little bit, it's catchy. But for the most part, it's just 'meh' for me.

Song choice may affect my like of listening, but it does not influence my super crazy love for the Hana girls. The vocals in this are as amazing as ever!! So much flippin' fantasticness! If you like this song, you need to listen to this dub of it.

Kago Ai : Ibara [ chiiayu ]
Tsuji Nozomi : Aoi [ chocolateblakberri ]
Yaguchi Mari : Sayuri [ xmikipinkux ]
Mika Todd : Ajisai [ homeschooledchick16 ]

Ai~n Dance no Uta by Sexy Hime (HanaProjectIndies) / This was a huge W T F for me at first. . . .I've never heard this song, but the video is very, er, interesting. I guess the dub is not wtf-like if you listen to it without looking at the video, lol. It's awesome! Very peppy and cute! And the energy level is fabulous!! The solos are so good, and these gals sounds magnificent together!

gnmkj wjkrg SOAB

Egah, I wanted to get more done tonight, and I had a good amount of time. But my younger sister just got back home from college today for the summer and I got mega distracted playing dub show and tell with her, lol.

*Edit* And then I got caught up in chitchatting a bit.

*EDIT* FREAKING JKLBJHBVJVJHBVHJBKJBJKL. I just deleted part of this entry by accident. I'd typed up a whole little mini-cover thing on a dub and now it's gone. Way to go Aya / autosave. I'm so pissed / upset now. Sorry StrawberryzProject, I did something stupid and blogger saved my mistake before I could go back and change it. I'll have to re-type it tomorrow.

Yume to Genjitsu vs Mikan

The poll is over! And much like the first Aa! & Momusu battle, it ended up almost a tie; Yume to Genjitsu won by only one vote! It's been quite popular ever since it came out by the new generation of Aa! And though Mikan has been out for a while now, it's still a favorite for many.

I enjoy both songs a lot, and I can't really decide between them. I like different things about them, and would listen to one or the other depending on what I'm in the mood for. Thanks to everyone who participated!

Poll Stuff~

I wasn't surprised that Japanese won the language poll. I was surprised that English took second! I probably shouldn't be, I just thought Korean would place before it. Only five votes off, so it was fairly close.

I've never tried German, and I only know parts of two songs in Mandarin. Korean I know bits and pieces, whatever I pick up from listening, but I fail at looking at lyrics and trying to sing it. Japanese is the easiest for me, plus I like it.

I was glad to see that some people chose German, since one of my favorite non-H!P/korean dubbers sings in German quite often. And I love the way Mandarin sounds, it's lovely. I am very curious as to what languages people had in mind when they clicked 'other' - if y'all read this would you mind saying so in the shoutbox?

Thanks to all that took part in the poll!

And Rival has beaten aMa no Jaku by 14 votes!! No where near as close as the last battle between Nanchatte Renai and First Kiss, but at least S/mileage's song didn't get pounded-into-the-ground beaten. I think I knew what the outcome of this poll would be, because even though this H!P quartet is cute, their first song was boring. At least to me~

I would sing Rival any day over aMa no Jaku. Even if I tripped over my words while trying to stay on beat and such, lol. It's so peppy, rockin' and just flat-out fun, while AnJ bores me. And I adore Berryz. Thank you to the 44 people who participated in the poll!!

Which brings us to the next battle. If y'all ever tire of these let me know, cause they're becoming a reaccuring thing that I actually like. Or if you have suggestions as to what songs I should use, toss'em my way!

Yume to Genjitsu vs Mikan

Yes, another Aa! vs Momusu poll. I couldn't resist though. I usually go for the songs that have been dubbed a lot lately, and I've seen/heard quite a few of these two. I've had Mikan in mind for this poll for a little bit now, and I wasn't sure what other song to choose, but I finally picked.

I don't believe I have any downloaded dubs of either of these songs. I've been meaning to download HanaPro's version of Mikan though. And I haven't come across many YtG download links. If you wanna send dubs of either song my way, don't hesitate!

Once again; take your pick! Which song would you rather dub, not only based on personal tastes but on other things ~ How challenging/simple the song is, the difficulty level when it comes to mixing. Key, tempo, etc. A little influence of your own preference isn't too bad either.

Ugh, it's almost 4am. I'm getting too tired to focus, I'll deal with Featured Dubs and other stuff tomorrow. I would have liked to do some BTW today but the power going out screwed me a little for time, among other things. And tomorrow, er, today is Mother's Day, so the second half of the day I'll be busy with dinner and whatnot.

Poll Results

As I said when I put it up, this past poll was a bit random. And funny enough, after I put it up I heard a lot of First Kiss dubs and at least two of Nanchatte Renai. At first I thought FK would win, cause it was leading in votes. But then NR fought back, and the two were neck-and-neck until the end. The very end! This was almost a tie, but FK won by one vote!

! ! ! Two of the previous polls had a total of 35 voters. This time around there were 41! I felt so mushy-happy when it got into the 30s again, and even more so when it went up another 11 votes. It makes me incredibly happy that people like this blog of mine ;w; Thanks to everyone who took the time to vote.

There wasn't exactly a reason behind choosing these two songs, except that I'd heard several dubs of them and I was curious as to which was prefered. Not only personal preference, but in a dubber/mixer's opinon. I like First Kiss, but Nanchatte really pushes my happy-button. I like the melody & beat more, and also the rapping. Plus there are more girls, instead of just Airi + two.

I would think that Nanchatte is harder to mix, with the rap and all the different parts and the number of girls. FK seems a little easier, with only the three girls and a non-complicated melody. But I don't actually know, I'm only guessing. Plus everyone has their strong and weak points in singing; some are good at slower songs & some aren't - some are great at rapping and singing faster songs & some aren't. So as for dubbing preference, it kind of depends on the dubber.

And when it comes to video versions, I really like watching/listening to the dubs with the newer lineup of Aa (Airi, Miyabi, Akari), concert version. It's more entertaining for me. And with Nanchatte I like the black-outfits warehouse PV, though I also really like the concert versions when the crowd is added in! If I had to pick one to sing, personally, it'd be First Kiss; cause I'd epic fail Nanchatte. lol. But I'll likely listen to a NR dub any day over one of FK.

Shared vids

The poll is over!! I fail at thinking up polls, really. It takes me forever! Especially when I try and tie the poll into something dubbing-related. Anyways. This poll was kind of random and just something I was a little curious about.

The most picked choices were; 8-9 months, A year & a half, and More than 2 years. The 35 people who participated are some that I know from YT, and it's cool to know that many of them have been happily dubbing for so long! As for those who chose Half a year or less; keep at it!! You'll hit your first year anniversary before you know it.

*kicks youtube* Site maintenance.

Tan Tan Taan! by kakkoiko (preview) / It won't let me comment on Ai's dub at the moment, but at least I can share it with y'all. Only 1:09 in length, but it's an epic minute. She suits this song so well, ohmygosh!!!! I really really like this and I totally want the full length dub now *grabby hands* I'm looking forward to it big time, and I just know Ai will pwn.

Also!! "I need 4 more subscribers in 4 days to get 200 for my first dubbing anniversary on the 16th [April 2010]" - She hit that goal!! I just checked her profile and saw. Congrats Ai!! And happy dubbing anniversary, in case I forget ;w;

Osaka Koi no Uta by xsweetgurl / Bonus points for song choice, lol. I never ever tire of this song. Amaya has an adorable voice, and even though she goes off key quite often, I enjoyed listening. She's too cute! And has good energy. Could use work on pitching, but an overall pretty nice.

If I keep busy, I can fend off the sleepiness. UWAH~

The poll is over! And as you may have noticed, I already went ahead and changed the Featured dubs from some of the less recent faves to the more recent faves! When I went to bed last night I think there was less than 6 hours left on the poll, but I wanted it to finish. Not to have me finish it, lol.

How many dubbing groups are you currently active in?
That was the question, and 35 wonderful people took the time to click an option. I think it was blaringly obvious that the last option was mainly tacked on there for me, but someone else chose it too; I am not alone!

When I added the 10+ option, I wasn't quite sure if it was too crazy a number. And I guess not! Four people clicked it, sharing the information that they are very busy bees. How could you be active in 10 groups and not be? Wow. A step above in votes was the 3-5 option, and only one person said that they were not active in any dubbing groups at the moment.

The two most popular choices were 1-2 (thirteen votes) and 6-9 (nine votes). I think that makes sense. Some people only have time for a few projects while others have time on their hands; some choose to only be active in a few groups while others happily join several of them. And there is the possibly that some are busy running their own project. Plus, ugh at school and work, eh? *nodnod*

For the new poll I really wanted to add an option that I could pick, but in the end I didn't. So no poll clicking for Ayachii this time, lol. Anyways! I have enough time for a little bit of dub sharing, so here we go~

Ama no Jaku / Amai (IroKokoroProject)

Maeda Yuuka- Amaranth [FaraBANG]
Ogawa Saki- Amber [bibblebobble629]
Wada Ayaka- Celeste [CocoNStorm]
Fukuda Kanon- Pearl [MewKiyoko]

I was super tempted to fully cover this, but I did Gag by IKP not too long ago (and I've been putting it off for a few days cause I'm too tired/busy). And so I just had to give this some love. This is, in my opinion, probably the best dub of this song I've ever heard. I downloaded it in a heartbeat and I've listened to it several times since then. I love love love it. The blending is beyond epic. This shows how spectacular a project IKP is.

Gomen ne Jewel / SKR48 (HanaProject)

I love how HanaP always keep'em coming. Oh what? Keeps what coming? Dubs. One wonderful dub after another. It's like I have something new to look forward to from them almost every day. And SKR48 has been really active lately! I completely adore the chorus of this song. It's beautiful, and the girls sound great!!

Aya Rambles & Poll Results

I'm so lame. I'm sitting here dancing (with my upper body) in my chair while acting like some peppy H!P girl on stage, all smiles and hand-movements (er, the computer is my crowd?) while playing my own game of Sing-a-long with Himawari and Kohaku.

"PARAPIRAPORAPORAPPO" I've got those parts down pretty well now. I can pretty much keep up, except I might goof now and then, but I can always just throw in a 'po' 'pi' or 'pa' and it still sounds like I know what I'm doing, LOL.

Before this I was listening to Kirari by Tokyo Girl's Style on repeat inbetween browsing and listening to auditions. But right now I've got Kohaku and Himwari's dub on repeat. It's just so freaking catchy and amazing~ See! This is why I love downloads ♥

And as I start this about the poll results, I am jamming out to Romeo & Cinderella by Hanatan. But I'm going to change it. It's been through at least three times. Hmm, maybe some AKB? Seifuku ga Jama wo Suru it is! I love this song. Anyways~

The poll is finally over! The first choice won, hands down; "*waves both arms spastically* I love it! Buggy rules!" After the first five votes had all gone there, I had a feeling that it was going to be the winning option. And it was, by about 80%. But it was all kind of a silly, cause I purposely centered the choices around loving some part of Dubber's Radio. (*switches to Run Devil Run by SNSD*)

Whether it was Buggy, the show itself, or the featured dub that was available for download. So it was a win-win situation, it all just depended on what just how much you liked it. I was happy that someone voted for the third option, but just cause it made me feel awesome to be "oh wise Aya" LOL. (*picks Heart and Soul by AAA next*)

I am really excited for the next episode of Buggy's radio show, cause she is interviewing Kappa, leader of HanaP!! You can read Kappa's rambles about it in her latest entry over on her blog. (*listens to Zhuan Shu Tian Shi by Tank* Beautiful song)

And on a sad note, I will be starting work back up this Thursday. I probably won't be able to get on until 5:00pm (Michigan / Northern USA time) every day, except for weekends; which I believe I have off. This is going to cut back on how much blogging I get done in a day, so bare with me ;w;

A million thanks to all my wonderful readers!! I will do as much as I can in the next two days. If you have anything you'd like me to take a look at just message me on YT or send the video my way via Shared Videos. And now, it's 4am my sweets, so I better be heading to bed~ ILY'ALL

(I leave you all listening to Our Songs by Totemomo)
